Lini cures her pet with a scroll while Droogami full attacks the brawler.

Droogami HP 9/11

Droogami, perhaps emboldened by the pressure of savage-the-man-or-be-clobbered, tears into the assassin like a hungry bear.

You can almost hear the man plead for his life as the end of it draws near.

Almost.

He is a professional assassin, after all.

Out of combat!

Ulisha comes rushing out to take a look at her would-be assassins before throwing her arms around Droogami.

"Oh you did it! Now we must hurry before Anwald decides to hire more Vessels for a follow-up attempt!"

She extends her hand to help Amiri up and works to mend the barbarian's wounds.

Cure Light #1: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Cure Light #2: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

So you've technically made a bunch of gold fetching and selling the various items from Ulisha's journal. Anwald Tullivor is the "gentleman" who set these assassins after Ulisha by naming her an enemy of the Red Revolution. His motivation was clearly because Ulisha stole the platinum cup from the Tullivors.

You have a few choices on how to proceed to wrap this up, but essentially your goal now is to get Anwald to stop his pursuit of Ulisha, either by paying him off for the stolen cup... or some other diplomacy or trickery. I'll let you guys discuss how you want to proceed, but essentially it will come down to (a) Paying him, (b) Diplomacy or (c) a Bluff.

Once you decide, I'll wrap up (if you pay him) or set the final scene (if you use Diplomacy or Bluff). If we go that route, we'll take the person with the highest Diplo/Bluff (Lem?), have him roll and get some assist rolls.

"I think it is best if we just pay him and make nice. Money is what he is looking for, and anything else is likely to continue to plague Ulisha. Let's talk to him and feel him out, but let's go to pay him in exchange to call off the hunt."

"Plus, it is the correct thing to do. Ulisha does owe him."

Hmm, my two sisters seem to be conflicted. It seems Lini wants to help smooth things over verbally this Tullivor fellow and avoid paying him, and Kyra wants to pay the man off.

Amiri carefully considers her choice of action.

"Kyra, you kept me alive - which may not be the wisest choice - but, perhaps you are right in this instance. Pay the man off and we can each go our way."

"I agree with both sides. Perhaps they can be convinced to settle on a reasonably negotiated price."

"Or.. I could just set them alight with magical fire."

Here's where I read folks opinions...

Ezren: Diplo
Liri: Diplo
Kyra: Pay
Amiri: Pay
Lem: Either

If one person wants to change their mind to cast the deciding vote or Harsk weighs in... or else I need a Diplomacy check from Kyra or Lem (as the most likely primary check to make it).

I say just pay the bastard. At least he should leave well enough alone. He wants to meddle afterward, we kick his sorry arse in

Seeing that scene with Malkovich makes me feel better about my Ustalavian accent that I use in in-person games. :)

Finding Anwald him is easy (DC 5 Diplomacy check to gather information, which Lem automatically makes), for he has made a mournful boor of himself over the past week.

Although he is still upset about Ulisha’s actions, he has regretted calling her out as an enemy of the Red Revolution. After parting with 500 gold, he agrees to speak in Ulisha’s defense, convince his Galtan contacts to leave her alone, and cancel the bounty on her.

Ulisha expresses genuine joy as you relate the news that she is no longer the target of assassins and bids you follow her to the church of Abadar where she makes a withdrawal from a safe box.

A minute later, she hands you all a cloth-wrapped silver sickle and nods. She expresses her deepest gratitude and offers to help you any way she can in the future.

This is Silverhex (+1 spell storing alchemical silver sickle; 8,326 gp), which is on your chronicle! Because you helped Ulisha, you can purchase it for a discounted price of 6,326 gp.

Congratulations, you've finished ALL SIX Silverhex Chronicles!

I'll start working on Chronicles shortly.
