More of a general contribute to the good of the party donation.

I accept your donation.

MM's new gold total is 250gp.

Martigan, would you 'hold' this scroll of Prot from Evil?

Sure thing. Is that something I can cast if I have to? I know it's on my list but I always assumed the divine/arcane difference would muck things up.

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

Apoligies for Doruks inability to move correctly. Someday I'll figure out how to play him appropriately. Thanks to Chris for pointing out the obvious. :)

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

Yeah this healing thing is a pain in the butt. Hopefully they're nice enough to run at least 30 feet away after dropping you, or you can make it to the window. I have a -5 to jump through, so that's not going to work. I'd hate to waste turns climbing through a window.

Tough fight. I opted for the higher CR version when I saw the orcs all had 6 HP each.

Little did I realize they also had Ferocity ;)

Good luck! You can do it!

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

Petrel's birthday is 1d364 ⇒ 319 Ready'reat 11th, the end of Autumn.

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

Heading to Fargo at 0630 CST Saturday to play a Warmachine tournament, will return ~2300 CST Saturday.

Prepping maps, will get a post up tomorrow morning.

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

At some point my 'hot dice' are going to grow cold. Too bad it's being used up on Zombies. :D

Considering you were the only one who could swing, at least it made the battle quick.

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

Yeah, I hate tight spaces like this. No where to move which is a real hardship on a reach-fighter. :(

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

If only you'd taken the Polearm Fighter Archetype ;P

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

Yeah, I thought about taking that one but decided against it in favor of carrying a shield around next level and still fighting with polearms. I like the idea of that even if it's not as optimized.

Female Half-Elf Monk (Zen Archer) 1

Argh. Looks like Aralynn is about to learn about swarm DR.

Psst! Hey DM Panic! Sorry to intrude, but thought you might like to know that DM Talomyr has revived his Council of Thieves PbP. We sure could use our priest of Iomedae!

Hey! An intruder in our OOC thread! And he's trying to steal our GM!

Let's get him!

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

Sic the undead rat swarm of doom on him!

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

So much for sneaking up on the blood wizard.

Maybe he will turn out to be friendly :)

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

"Stay awhile, and listen!"

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

Yeah I'm buying a new PC to play the new one.

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

Doruk makes Martigan feel so inadequate I feel like buying a polearm for Finn.

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

I'm embarrassed actually.

He's been very lucky on rolls and we've been fighting things with relatively low hp so he's luckily able to mow them down. You hired a fighter and a fighter is what he is, but not too much else. Well, OK, he can lift heavy things too.

At some point my luck with the dice will run out and I'll be missing everything like Glimmil was for a while there. 'course then I'll be embarrassed that I'm not helping... sigh.

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

Poor Petrel.. a melee character with no strength isn't working out so well.

Doruk is quite.. formidable.. :)

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

Hey if Petrel dies I can bring in my PFS character Thongar as a replacement. That should motivate Mukluk to keep my rogue alive. :)

Gah!

I'm moving across a lake of blood for you! What else would you want!!!?!

:)

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

Petrel looks at Aralynn's wildly off target arrow fire.

"Can you remind me, what did you say your core competency was?"

Martigan the Sun-Touched wrote:

Laughed. So. Hard.

I have a question for the 5 of you.

Have any of you ever played the 3.5 module Forge of Fury?

It's a candidate for bridging your next couple levels :)

Male Human Rogue 4: Knife Master, Sanctified Rogue

Nope.

Excited for Petrel.

Does it have any oceans, lakes, rivers, streams, puddles of water?

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

I've not played it. Sounds good. :)

Nor I.

Let's do that.

Female Half-Elf Monk (Zen Archer) 1

Personally, I blame Mukluk for the appearance of an owl bear skeleton in this adventure.

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

It hurts us precious, it hurts us.

I can live with that. ...checks. Yep, I can definitely live with that.

I just hope Chris doesn't kill Glimmil if Aralynn dies next round...

You are.. oh so very close!

@Chris: Sorry man!

If you wish to roll a new PC, you'll get to start at level 3 though!

Feel free to IM me if you want to discuss possibilities there...

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

::sniff, sniff::

What's that I smell? A TPK? :(

It'll take some luck to get us out of this one now. LOTS of luck... Damn.

Human Cleric of Pelor 4

One more channel should just about do it.

No problem. It was was fun pushing the character to the limit to see the strengths and weaknesses. I'll get something to you soon. Of course, the whole party might be new...

At low levels, its often just a single critical hit that can be the deciding factor (and was).

Male Human (Per +6 | Fort +16 Ref +11 Will +21 | AC 29 (f28/t15) | CMD 20)

Double crit! Nicely done Petrel!!

male Gray Elf Alchemist 4

Did you get my email?

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

Aralynn - Your composite long bow - did it have a strength rating?

Too busy looting my body to notice eh?

"Also of note - a bounded, gagged and unconscious gray elf male is in the corner of this room."

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

More looting!

Should I get the rocks/rope ready for when we're done?

How many bodies can the pool hold, anyway?

Male Human (Oerdian) (Per +2 | Fort +5 Ref +2 Will +1 | AC 26 (f24/t12) | CMD 21)

So should we all train to level three, or is that just for folks who die first? :)

No. That's for us plaintiffs in the wrongful death suit. The settlement was completed out of court and the results are confidential.
