AC is 17 due to entanglement, but it looks like I can still move and attack. I don't know how spider webbing works, but I'm going to assume I need a slashing weapon to cut these webs.

Covered in webbing, the Maiden drops her longbow, grabs her longsword and carefully cuts away at the webbing.

Sigil grabs his healing kit and prepares to help anyone poisoned by one of the spiders.

GM Rolls:

S1 Bite vs Zora: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
S2 Bite vs Maiden (entangled): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

The Maiden chops at her webs and finds her longsword to be the perfect tool for the task - however the mass is just too large and sticky for a single swing. She suspects another swing or two and she may be free.

Zora's fire hits its intended mark as the spider screams hideously and scampers ahead, burning aside webs as its skitters along the ceiling, each step making a click clack sound. Its friend takes much the same path, moving with quick speed along the ceiling and descending the wall of the door from which your entered.

The two spiders are above the Maiden and Zora on the wall, in melee range now.

Zora easily steps away from the burning spider's mandibles, but the Maiden struggles in the sticky webbing as the second spider's fangs find her shoulder. She can feel venom oozing into her body.

Maiden:
DC15 Fort Save or lose 1d3 ⇒ 3 Strength.

"Spiders eh? Well, I'll take care of this webbing..." Johann remains stalwart in the face of these vermin. He does his best to slash his sword at the webs that have him entangled.

Attack, Entangled: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 - 2 = 6

Alas, the spiders web proves to be too ensnaring, and Johann's swing is completely ineffectual.

GM Rolls:

S1 Web vs Zora: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
S2 Bite vs Maiden: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

The burning spider takes several more blows while the Maiden frees herself.

Seeming to possess extraordinary intelligence for an arachnid, the burning, wounded spider clambers up the wall out of range of Zora and Johann's weapons and lobs another sticky ball at the halfling, which flits past her and into the web-filled pit in the room's center.

The Maiden's adversary attempt to bite her again, before skittering along the wall for a better position.

Charis frowns as the spider flees. "Make up your mind, damn it."

Does the spider 1 provoke an AoO for leaving?

AoO:

Siangham: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Spider 2 is in range for melee, so she prepares a flurry of strikes against it.

Siangham 2: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17

Sigil's firebolt finds its mark, hitting the charred spider (taking it to 18 total damage), but the fierce arachnid continues to chitter and grip to the ceiling.

S2 Bite vs Maiden: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Zora and Sigil combine efforts and the first, charred spider seems barely able to hold onto the ceiling. In one last defiant effort, it spits a gob of goo at Zora, but the deft halfling steps aside.

Massive black iron gates bar the corridor, fashioned out of twisted, angular vertical bars that have sharp edges and are about a handspan apart, linked by welded crossbars.

The gates have massive hinges set deep into the walls, and a heavy lock inside a welded box secures sliding bars that run into sockets in the floor and ceiling at the center of the corridor. Moreover, a black iron chain with links as thick as a human thumb wraps around the gates where they meet above and below the lockbox. The chain’s ends disappear into holes in the lockbox.

Three more doors exit the hall on the far side of the bars.

Disable Device (Open lock): 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (18) + 12 = 30

Zora, with Feighllaro close behind step up to the gates to take a closer look at the three locks that secure the obstacle.

As Zora approaches, the air grows chill and ghostly, incorporeal arms seem to emerge from the bars and clutch at her.

Touch Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10 for 1d6 ⇒ 6

Luckily, she's quick on her feet and somersaults backwards avoiding any harm.

Three locks, DC26 each. With time, you can "take 20" and get through all three with just some time running off any spells that are in effect.

With the locks and the ghostly trap out of the way, the party is free to select which door they would like to proceed through.

GM Rolls:

Johann: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (16) - 1 = 15
Zora: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

As the party heads down the hallway, little by way of noise is detected through any of the closed doors, but Zora catches the faint outline of a covered pit at the hall's end.

The pit trap is noted as a yellow square on the map. I'll assume a tandem team of Johann+Zora advancing through all corridors two-wide and roll Perception as needed for traps since you would be wary as such -- unless another such team is assigned. :)

"I am glad to see you are unharmed." Charis nods to Zora as she somersaults away from the spectral hand. "Maybe we can get the door around the corner?"

When Zora notes the pit blocking the door. "Ah, I see. Let's go into the Southeast door, then come back to this."

I'll assume Charis takes point with Zora in the front, with Johann moving to the second line, unless Johann objects. :)

A few wisps of decayed webbing hang from the walls of this room, but there’s none on the stone ceiling and no sign of spiders in the room.

The ceiling is blank save for four 1-footwide, round steel medallions, one set into each corner. The floor is equally bare except for a pedestal in the center of the floor made of a single five-foot-square block of stone, about two feet high.

On the pedestal sits a metal-framed wooden chest, and to the side of the pedestal rests a shallow hole in the floor housing what looks like a brass door handle set into the stone. A stone tile lying loose nearby is clearly designed to fit over the hole, concealing the handle.

"Looks like someone beat us here, perhaps?"

Perception, find traps: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21

Zora gives the room a glance and decides that she doesn't like the look of the lone, tempting chest in the room's center, along with the strange ceiling.

She suspects the round steel medallions are possibly bolts of some sort and that the entire ceiling may be part of a crushing mechanism.

"Looks like just a trap, but let me see if I can disable it so we can take a closer look. Feighllaro, feel like helping me out here?"

"Aha! A trap meant to ensnare us - or worse - as a result of base greed! Good eye, Zora." Johann stands close to the halfling as she works to safely disable the trap.

"What do you suppose the handle in the floor is for?"

GM Rolls:

M: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12
Z: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20

Zora determines the handle is merely "bait" as part of the elaborate trap is the entire room. She finds a small device that seems to be some sort of motion detector and disconnects it from the chest.

Opening the chest, she discovers little by way of valuables - it contains only a bleached cat skull and an aged, handwritten note reading, Curiosity Kills: another ingenious demise, courtesy of Addington’s Fine Traps and Defenses.”

As Zora gives the room one last final check, she discovers no less than three carefully hidden secret doors leading out of this room.
