I may call the module after this battle with the moon spider. You've essentially done the "boss fights" already, and we're back-tracking to the earlier rooms. I'll describe them as if you explored them, but we don't need to use PbP time on a fight with a lone skeleton (yes, that's one of the rooms) or a handful of skeletons (that's the other unexplored room).

In a nutshell, we should be done soonish, at the very longest next week.

I deeply apologize. My work schedule is keeping me far too busy. Also, I'm feeling a little bit of burnout with Pathfinder.

I don't know what it is, but I'm just not finding the joy in it that I was when I started a couple years ago. Probably best for me to leave now before my apathy has a serious negative effect on everyone else's fun.

@Johann: I do believe this hobby demands breaks from time to time, and it's always best to take them when you have the faintest sign that it would be good to do so.

@Everyone else: When we began we kind of suggested 1-3 levels, with a maaaybe for anything beyond that.

Emerald Spire level 3 is a level 2-4 module, and I believe it was intended for only 4 players, so the party is reasonably equipped as a 4-man team should the cries be unanimous to continue. We could also potentially reach out to our own forums connections to dig up a level 2-3 Core PC replacement.

Weigh in here and we can see what we do next.

It looks like The Maiden does well as a frontliner, which is fine by me. We may need to set up flanking, however. Depends if Zora thinks she can hide long enough to set up sneak attacks.

If not, we may want another frontliner to help rack up damage.

Are we leveling to 3? I didn't look at the chronicle yet (or do I have it? I am a little spacey today).

If 2nd is ok, I do have a 2nd level Wizard/Fighter I could swap in. However, if Zora sticks around, her next level will be Ranger on her path towards becoming a shadow dancer, so she is all about stealth and sneak attacks...

Guess I should have checked PM first - chronicle was sitting there! So yes, at level 3 Zora will be Rogue 2/Ranger 1 and still stealthy.

I was quite fun travelling with you Feighllaro! I already had to bow out of one campaign, so I know how it feels to reach your limit.

The Maiden will be a 1 Fighter/2 Monk next level and will continue to stick around. We'll definitely need more level 2-4 core PCs with us - at least 1 more.

I'm very satisfied with this build so far, as I wanted her to be versatile in melee or at range. She should have visions of the future, but I'll just play that up as her Wisdom AC bonus. :)

OK, with Sigil, Zora and the Maiden returning, we're just 1 player (or a pre-gen I suppose) away from continuing on. Let me see if I can gather up interest with the upcoming PbP Gameday.,

I don't care about PFS. I'm just playing to play. I never played Telsyn for PFS stuff.

Instead of being able to change energy types for evocation spells, he instead gets 7 single magic missile spells per day. The rest of him was core, anyway. Toughness is great for wizards. Spell Focus is great for evokers.


@Telsyn: Ah, this is a PFS run of Emerald Spire, thus I'm bound by PFS rules to muster it with actual PFS characters...

I'll need the PFS ID of each of the characters in the game to report it.

As this is a 2-4, you have the option of playing one of the PFS pre-gens if you like and don't have a level 2 PFS ID ready.

You'll have to use the level 4 version of the pregen, since the level 1 version is out of tier. (I think)
