Use defending ability to add 2 to AC then activate chaincloth cloak. Will position self near the other melees so we can avoid flanks.

AC should be 19 with all the above. If defending doesn't use a swift, also activate arcane strike for the same reasons as Maeve. Power attack on unless otherwise stated.

Holdin Suishen, Parity moves up and activates his cloak, covering himself in chainmail skin. The ninjas move in to attack. One jumps out at Maeve from the nearby alley, barely missing her. Two more emerge from behind, attacking Sandru and Koya, but they avoid the blows.

In the distance, you see three ninja appear to attack Shalelu and Ameiko; one stands on the roof above, hurling flaming shuriken.

The cloud of ravens descends, covering all but Maeve and Sandru in a chaotic storm of caws and claws. Wodes, the blood-feather raven, cackles laughter as it flies to the nearer roof corner. It points a claw at Maeve, sending an arc of lightning at her, which she narrowly avoids.

At Maeve and Heng's turn...

With a draconic roar, Heng bursts from the cloud of ravens. He runs ten feet and leaps upward toward the roof to take the fight to the blood-feather raven.

i've got 50 move and a high jump (with Ki boost) of 1d20 + 41 ⇒ (16) + 41 = 57 (almost 15'). Dragon style allows me to ignore difficult terrain on a charge sooo...can I go all wuxia on that bird?

Round One, continued...

Maeve spins away from the ninja, flowing the defensive move into an inspiring performance. Almost simultaneously, Heng bursts from the cloud of ravens, sprinting forward before leaping boldly into the air. With a single flip, he lands on his toes at the edge of the building, high-steps the last few paces and slams Wodes with a crushing hit.

To a chorus of screams from the onlooking crowd, Kimandatsu appears atop the building in her true form: a giant red-skinned woman with demonic features, a protruding overbite, and Thorborg Silverskorr's blonde locks. She is wearing Tian-style armor, and wields a massive recurve bow and flaming arrows, which she fires upon Heng.

Planes should ID the oni, but what do you use to ID giants? Local?

Maeve recognizes the features of an ogre magi, perhaps the most common type of oni on the Avistan side of Golarion. They are much more intelligent than their brutish kin, can change form, and regenerate wounds but for those dealt with acid or fire.

Round One, continued...

Malnival moves out of the raven swarm, sees Kimandatsu and casts a scroll spell her way. The burning streaks towards her, and her eyes widen in realization too late. Her cries are drowned out by the roar of the explosion. The crowd of onlookers lets out a sigh of amazement, but most start fleeing the street.

Harlan rides his wardog through the ravens, emerging on the far side. With trained focus, he casts a defensive link between he and Heng, on the roof above.

Kelda struggles with the raven swarm, doing all she can just to break free and move towards an enemy. Koya retains her composure, stepping clear and casting a spell of sanctuary on herself. Sandru ducks and rolls, interposing himself between the ninja and Harlan, while slashing with his scimitar and scoring a good hit.

At the far end of the street, Shalelu steps away from the building, firing two arrows at the ninja leader in quick succession, clipping the ninja with one shot. Ameiko stays under cover, casting a spell and giving the nearest enemy a wink. "Help us, friend!" she cries out to him, but he just stands, confused.

The ninja leader retaliates against Shalelu, hurling two fiery shuriken her way, but the elf ranger ducks out of the way.

Back to the top of the order, Parity's turn...

Parity activates Suishen's power and starts stepping on air, moving steadily towards Kimandatsu. The tengu ninja tries to attack Koya, but her ward distracts its attention, interrupting its assualt before it begins. The other ninja spars with Sandru, and he parries the attack. Similarly, Kelda draws the foe from Maeve, blocking his blade with her shield.

To the north, the tengu charges in past its charmed ally, leaping to attack Ameiko with a slicing cut. In pain, she shouts an unladylike curse.

Wodes caws in frustration, flapping and flying to withdraw to the rooftop across the street. The raven swarms split, tracking to harry Harlan and Sandru, Malnival, and Maeve and Parity, respectively.

@ Parity: They're on the first map, if you look closely. Since they're at the other end of the map, I cropped them out after the first one I sent. I'll include at the beginning of each round (unless the fight migrates to them).

Maeve moves out of the raven cloud in a spinning dance, coming around behind the nearby foe and driving her heel hard into his back.

Atop the roof, Heng glances between the blood-feather raven and Kimandatsu, for a moment unsure, before hopping across the rooftop in three, tiptoed steps. He attacks Kimandatsu with a leaping punch, but the blow deflects off of her heavy armor.

The oni flies back out of reach, continuing to fire arrows at Heng; his magical shielding protects from one, and he dodges aside another.

At Malnival and Harlan's turn... don't forget the Fort saves.

It doesn't say you can't, and your movement rate is tied to your character's movement rate (unlike fly, which specifically says you can charge, but not run). I'd say, as long as you meet the criteria for charging, you can charge under air walk.

Round Two, continued...

Malnival moves out of the clawing ravens, again casting as spell, this time covering the building around Wodes with a layer of sticky webbing. The blood-feather raven manages to avoid the worst, but quorks rudely.

Bloodied, Harlan rides his wardog clear of the ravens and tries to hop off quickly, but gets stuck in the stirrup momentarily. Prugk gets the gist of his command and flees to the alleyway.

Kelda releases her innermost rage, roaring at the ninja and bringing her sword down in a vicious blow. The ninja drops to the street, bleeding. Warded by her spell, Koya weaves through the melee to find Malnival, touching him on the shoulder. (aid, for 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 temp hp)

Sandru continues to fight, turning around the ninja and attacking low, but the ninja parries his attempt.

To the north, Shalelu backs up and again fires her bow at the ninja leader, while Ameiko follows and attacks the (now flanked) tengu with her rapier. Ameiko's attack is blocked, but Shalelu scores two solid arrows.

Cursing in Tien, the leader disappears in a puff of gray smoke, reappearing moments later between Shalelu and (now flanked) Ameiko. She stabs Ameiko in the back with a blue-bladed poison dagger. "Ameiko!" Shalelu shouts, as the Amatatsu heir screams in pain.

Round Three

Charging down from above, Parity surges to Ameiko's defense, driving Suishen deep into the ninja leader's shoulder. The woman lets out a surprised yelp. The tengu ninja pulls the same trick as its leader, disappearing in a flash of smoke and reappearing as it stabs Parity in the flank. The charmed ninja shouts, waving his arms to try and cease the hostilities, to no avail.

To the south, the tengu ninja disappears into the raven swarm, reappearing to attack Malnival on the far side, but the surprise attack is foiled by poor aim. The second ninja continues to dance with Sandru, slicing him across the leg.

Wodes flies out of the webbed rooftop and to a nearer perch, pointing a claw at Malnival with a magical syllable. (Malnival DC 16 Will save...) The raven swarms continue to harry Sandru, Malnival and Maeve.

Heng closes on Kimandatsu, attacking with a kata of quick kicks and punches, ulimately ineffective, spoiled by a broken tile.

At Maeve's turn...

By my glance, its a 55 ft clear line to the tengu or Omoyani, and I don't consider the miniscule wall corners as blocking your charge.

Round Three, continued...

Screaming, Maeve charges down the street after Parity, launching into a flying kick across the last few yards, and slamming the ninja leader in the side.

Her arrows batted aside, Kimandatsu drops her bow and takes up a large, studded warclub, a tetsubo, and attacks Heng with a snarl. As fast as Heng has seen such a weapon move, the oni smashes him twice before he can react.

Fighting through the clawing ravens, Malnival turns on the tengu and blasts it with a scimitar infused with fire and electricy. The foe screaches as it falls. Harlan casts a spell against Sandru's foe, causing him to throw down his sword as it flares with heat. Beating off ravens, all Sandru can do is get clear of the swarm.

Koya rushes over, using a scroll to heal Sandru. Growling a battle oath, Kelda joins the fray, but the ninja narrowly avoids her sword strike.

To the north, Shalelu draws her sword, attacking the ninja leader viciously, but the woman lurches and weaves to avoid them. Ameiko stabs her rapier, but a wrack of pain from the poison spoils her aim.

"You will die, Amatatsu whore," the ninja leader whispers, before disappearing in a pop of smoke. Guided by his senses and Suishen's intuition, Parity never loses to the ninja's trick. One quick slice, and her head flies off as the body reappears.

Into R4... Parity turn his action to the tengu, or change?

Reeling and bloody from Kimadatsu's attack, Heng makes a final attack, then rolls off the roof and drops to the ground slowing his fall by brushing the wall heading for Koya's side.

Suddenly and without much warning, she rounds on Kimandatsu, suddenly drawing a wand. Dancing Butterfly suddenly flutters to life around the girl as she stares up and screams "YOU! Get down here so I can rip you apart!"

[ooc]Standard Action to activate Dancing Butterfly and a move to draw the Wand of Scorching Ray. Swift to Arcane strike.

Without a pause, Parity spins on the tengu with Suishen, but misses twice with wild swings. The tengu counters as it moves, stabbing its blade into one of Parity' alter-images.

At the far end of the street, the remaining ninja angles to find an escape route, stabbing Kelda in the leg as he spins around her. She hardly registers the wound. From his rooftop perch, Wodes points at Malnival, zapping him with an electric arc.

The raven swarms reconverge, covering Heng, Harlan, Malnival and Sandru once again.

Maeve ignores the tengu as she calls out Kimandatsu. The oni makes no acknowledgement, laughing instead at Heng's last ditch attack and fleeing form. Then, she turns to Maeve with a burning gaze. "Will you now?" she mocks. A second later, Kimandatsu disappears from sight.

Malnival hurls a flask at Wodes, hitting the blood-feather raven full force. It screeches as the flames erupt around it.

At Harlan's turn...

No, I'd rule that as long as the duration remains, you can recoup the benefits once you return in range.

EDIT: LOL, nevermind... the spell description specifically says otherwise.
