Need an interpretation. In the APG, it says that a witch can know any number of spells, but it never explicitly says how many I start with. The impression I get is that all of the 1st level spells listed are available through my familiar.

Alright, Marrada, you have a double spoiler under spells prepared. Could you put hexes under a seperate? And include your 3/day one from your feat there, please.

Marrada, only list damage for your size on weapons...drop the small size. And could you bold the catagories? DEX, weapons, HP, defense, etc? No rush, but it makes it much easier to find things. :)

Other than that, looking good. Give yourself 1 Destiny point, 5 action points (4+level), 5 hero points, and roll 1d6 and add your ChaMod (+2) to your level (+1), so 1d6+3 for Luck points. :)

Also, Marrada, can you post on here as your character? Makes it easier to find your sheet if I need to. Lol. Same with your character psionichamster. Thanks. :)

Is Marrada N? That is fine, I don't use alignments as much, and won't penalize you for doing something that is motivated, but out of alignment.

Yeah she's neutral , couldn't quite get a feel for where she is alignment wise. I thinks she's pretty nascent , not fully herself yet to be able be labelled good or evil, chaotic or lawful; she may be waiting on guidance from her patron or just to see what your terrible terrible world will throw at her :)

Also , I'll try to get some more info into the profile on what happened to her between leaving the Demon Wastes and turning up in Sandpoint.

I couldn't get the first post written quick enough, lol. Split it in two, because the hour deadline for edits passed. Le sigh. That sucked.

Let's give you some time in Sandpoint. A year ago you landed, something like that? I would like you familiar with the town, and the town familiar with you.

Also, can you speak a little of the war you saw going on as you traversed the continent? How many months/ years did that journey take?

And check your FF and touch defense scores. :) Also speed.

Have you chosen flaws? You have the option to choose two flaws (I have a linked list), and recieve two feats for them. Makes for interesting RPing options. I see you already chose your bonus feat for your history, awesome. :)

Ok I'll add a bit of detail about her year in Sandpoint.
I don't think she saw much of the war itself, perhaps the results, or a small skirmish here and there.
I have in my mind that it took her 6 months to a year to make the journey, add a year in Sandpoint and she'd be entering the civilized lands just after the treaty was signed.

Will check those numbers.

In defense bonuses, put your dex +2, as this is your only current defense affecting bonus. Also, could you put a parentheses around your weapong damage and crit, so it reads 'Big Sword +21 (1d8+27, 13-20/x7)', or some such?

Go ahead and make your Reflex save +3 and your Will save +4. I do my saves like 4th Ed, using Str and Con for Fort, Dex and Int for Reflex and Wis and Cha for Will. :)

What bonus did you take for your favored class? Could you list that behind your favored class, please?

Dex and Int are +2 And +3 adjustments = +5 reflex :)

As for me,I live near Ottawa,Canada and I'm a 40ish husband and father of a just over one year old girl . I work as a consultant for the government, software type stuff. Been playing rpgs since 5th grade, starting with the original AD&D books by mr Gygax. The other that sort of fits is the Magical Fascination flaw.
Doesn't quite fit though.

I propose a Magical Construct Fascination flaw.

Marrada isn't fazed by magic per se, but the implementation of magic in the civilized parts of Khorvaire astound her. For example, when she first say the lightning rail, she couldn't take her eyes off it. The same may in fact occur when she meets a warforged; a completely incredible feat of magic that causes an intense distraction. She'd probably be useless if she went to Sharn :)

What would be the game effects of the proposed flaw? I like the premise.

Is love of Nature's DC a Will save? It doesn't say.

Alright, I think I figured out the discrepancy in the saving throws, Marrada. I use either Str or Con on Fort, Dex or Int on Reflex, Wis or Cha on Will. You take the higher of the two. My bad for not clarifying. Sorry.

Give yourself DR4/armor. I use Armor as DR rules. And reduce your AC accordingly. If you have questions on those rules, let me know. :)

You have 23 Wound points, good job on the HP and Vigor.

Your rapier should be 1d6+1 dmg, and your dagger should be 1d4+1. :)

You have a captial B after your Gunsmithing feat. If this is to show it is a class gained feat, don't worry about that. :)

Marrada you should have two more languages.

Alright, a few questions for you two, and when you answer them, could you somehow put them in your character bio as well. :)

Both of you disbelieve in one TYPE of creature. (Dragons, undead, fey, demons...something.) This is a cultural thing. It can be the same type for both of you, or perhaps different. You believe "well sure (griffons) exist, everyone knows that. But some queen in a tree-filled plane of existence making you want to dance and be gay? Thats kids stories. Only someone from Thrane would believe that."

Something like that.

You also each need to pick two specific creatures. One you disbelieve in (specific, not type, i.e., you believe in undead but think ghouls are just people not understanding Karrnath zombies), and one you have a hidden fear of.

Sweet, I think we are just about ready to jump off. A couple of notes on rules:

I don't fret alignment. Play the moment, and use your alignment as a guideline.

Your points I've given you: use these in sticky situations. I've given you a lot...it's because I throw a lot of sticky situations at you. Don't fear burning them, there are plenty of ways to get more. And you can burn more than one type in a round. They are non-actions to use. (Take no time).

Destiny points: Succeed. Period.

Action points: +1d6 to any roll. Damage. Attack. Saves. Whatever. Stackable (Add +3d6 damage by burning 3).

Hero points: If you post you are going to use one, and then post in a seperate post your intended action, take a +8 to the check or roll. If you post it in the same post, take a +4. Can be used to take extra actions or use extra uses of abilities and powers. Gain more by being heroic and risking yourself.

Luck points. Re-roll. Lose one for every natural 1. Gain one for every natural 20.

You may parry an attack. If it hits, state you want to parry. We'll roll the outcome.

Vigor work like stamina and non-lethal hit points combined...if you take damage, you'll 'heal' as you rest, losing 1 vigor per minute, and gaining 1 HP. So even if you get to 3 HP out of 18 in a battle, in 15 minutes you'll be "full HP", and have only 3 Vigor remaining. Think of it as Bruce Willis in Die Hard...gets his can handed to him, limps away, and fights a huge battle in twenty minutes at the next location. Non-lethal damage doesn't do anything to HP...it goes straight to Vigor.

Criticals affect Wound points, not HP's. MUCH more lethal. Crit's can be scary.

On that note, feel free to retreat, lol, if you feel the need.

I have massive damage rules, as well as hard hit (clobbered) rules. Also stabiliazation, staggered and dying rules. Don't worry about them, I'll explain them when they come up.

Crits and fumbles get more interesting with me.

I'm going to do average initiative rolls...you two will roll, and I'll average the two of you. Same with opponents. That way, you two can post, not worry about order, and then I can. Should speed things up...I hope. :)

Oh! You each gain a teamwork feat. This is from working together. You'll get more as you level. They really only work if you have the same one, as well, so coordinate your preference.

I use PFd20srd.com a metric ton. Feel free (and I encourage you) to link things there in posts if you have the time. It makes it very easy to look up the rules on a phantasmal attacker spell when all I have to do is click.

I give extra XP for journal entries. I highly encourage them. This would be why Korihor writes hers...I've asked for it from so many players over the years, I can't not do it myself.

If you two get seperated, that's fine. I may have different plotlines pulling you away. We'll see how that goes on pbp. Think of it like LOST...they are always all going in different directions, with different goals and deadlines, but all related. If you are seperated, please spoiler all your descriptions...the other doesn't know what's happened unless they are told.

As I mentioned earlier, magic systems are all seperate. Please roll-play accordingly. (Biggest one is clerics don't cast spells. Ever. They pray.) Healing has a different feel in my games, I like to think. It's not so instantaneaous, at least from a cleric. Potions are, however.

Wands act differently. I'll explain when we get one.

Everyone gets to sin. Enjoy. :) Choose one sin, and one ability from that sin.

- Pride
Choose either Dazzling blade or Delusional pride. You may use it once per day as a swift action, using your class level as the caster level.

- Gluttony
Choose one of the following: Whenever you drink a potion, increase its caster level by one, or all cure potions heal maximum hit points.

- Greed
Choose either or Burning disarm, or Certain grip. You may use it once per day as a swift action, using your class level as the caster level. Change certain grip to one round per level.

- Wrath
Choose either or Interrogation, or True strike. You may use it once per day as a swift action, using your class level as the caster level.

- Lust
Choose either Seducer's eyes or Lock gaze. You may use it once per day as a swift action, using your class level as the caster level. Change Seducer's eyes to one round per level.

- Sloth
You gain either a +5 to d20 rolls till the beginning of your next turn if you take only one action (move or standard) for your turn, or the ability to auto-confirm a critical, or auto-succeed on a roll once per day if you rest twelve hours rather than eight.

- Envy
Choose either Break or Disguise self. You may use it once per day as a swift action, using your class level as the caster level.

As for "sins," Wanderer is definitely Wrath. He is all about finding and killing the men he holds responsible for his wife's death.

Seems fairly reasonable.

Wanderer's goals are pretty straightforward: Stay alive. Get info. Kill the Colonel.

Player's goals: have fun, explore the 'hell-driven cowboy' character a bit.

I'm for fast, cinematic combats without a lot of rules bickering, and fun, witty banter.

Yeah all very reasonable, it'll be interesting haven't played with many of these rules variants before.

She'll have pride or lust as her sin.
Have to think about the other questions.

I will make the combat's as fast as I can. I've used these at my table for years now, and it is much more tense, feels faster, and very cinematic. pbp...we'll see, I suppose. This is new territory, so I hope they translate well.

Yeah, use those points to make it more cinematic. Make the jump across the gap, pound the bad guy more, or whatever.

I'll try to get maps up when I can to help us out, and put them on google docs, or roll20 if possible. I don't know if my "server" has to be up for you to see the maps on that...

I am married, with two five-year olds, one of them special needs. She informs me to tell you both she got a loose tooth today, for the first time. :) I am the luckiest man alive, as my wife is beautiful, and way above my pay grade, lol. We've been best friends for almost a decade.

I don't work a 'civilian' job, so my hours are either brilliant or brutal for pbp. I own a film production company, making movies. I tend to produce, and have started directing this year as well.

Some of what I do is fantasy. This is like one we are in production to do, that I am writing with Keith Baker. My friends and distribution company did this one.

Well, a bit about me:

I'm 32, I live in CT. I work for an ambulance company, usually in the evenings. Since I can post from my phone (usually), there will often be large stretches of time with relatively short, but frequent posting.

Not married, no kids, no major awesome things to brag about.

Looking forward to seeing what happens with this campaign.

Working for an ambulance company is absolutely something to brag about. My daughter is alive because of ambulances, and the people who work with them. So thank you from a parent. :)

Back from the Mill today, tommorrow got moved to studio shoot before they fly back to Puerto Rico. My daughter has surgery tomorrow bright and early, and thankfully the studio is less than a mile away, since I'll have to head over after.

The rest of the week is easier. Several production meetings, and brunette in the hospital recovering for three days, but that's it. Almost got talked into flying to Thailand to film for a company for 10 days, but I'm not doing that, so phew. Not really my bag, and not worth the pay. And I want to get this campaign going, lol.
