Great job, guys. There is a new question up for this Sunday already in the campaign tab, as well as fully updated XP, links to party members pictures, NPC's pictures, and maps and information that we've run across. I update it daily, so make sure to check back!

That sentence seems odd, now that I'm reading it later. Let me re-phrase, in case I wasn't clear there, lol.
The 1st goblin charged Three, who attempted to bull rush (failing) and slam (also failing, off of Three's rolls). Then a goblin charged Khravos, who attempted to disarm him (failing), and attacked him with his scizore (killing it).
This is the first bigger example of my reaction rules. Rather than the goblins attacking your static ACs (RAW), or even you rolled AC's (active defense), you attempt a counter of some sort when someone attacks you. A parry, bull rush, disarm, trip...etc. Some counter, that makes your defense active and involved, rather than stand there boring. Most of the time you will not be doing damage with a reaction...you'll be using them strategically. Disarming opponents, re-positioning them to where they are threatened by other party members, knocking them over, etc.
I am working on building this (and others) in to a system for publishing. It means you don't need to think so much about readied actions (although they still work, as demonstrated there). You can tell me what reactions you'd like to do when attacked, and then your attacks back. So:
As the ogre comes in, I am going to sweep under its club, hacking the back of it's leg. This will be my attack, but also my defense as I try to trip him with the blow.
Or some such. :)

Alright, this Sunday's Question of the week, good for 75 XP until Friday night!
"Tell me about the first time your character feels they fell in love."
I've changed around the rewards a little, I think. From here, I'm going to make it:
- If you post an answer to a question, and place it on your sheet within four days, you get 75 XP.
- If you post an answer to a question, and place it on your sheet within two weeks, you get 25 XP.
- If you post an answer to a question, and place it on your sheet anytime after two weeks, you gain 10 XP.
I want this to promote being active, and responding, and continuing to develop and grow your characters personality and backstory. You will always be rewarded for it, but quicker responses obviously net more benefits. :) This is the same reason why I give a little experience for posts.
Check what your character has done or hasn't done on the campaign page, under the Questions of the week tab!

Also, guys, please watch out for the "my character says this or asks this, and then leaves to do something else".
This creates situations where you have role-played walking away from someone before they necessarily respond, which means they are responding after you left, which can feel really incongruous. :D
I am loving everything we've had so far! Thanks so much, guys!

Ah, guilty of this. Just a pbp habit i picked up trying to speed things up

Apparently my earlier post was eaten. Grr.
No worries Tenro. :) I'm actually not too worried about things like that. We are moving at a fairly good clip, with most of you posting 2 times every 3 days. If we were a much slower group (like we've all seen), I'd say go for it. But as we are, I think we can play it more normal, as it were.
Average posts per day -
Garrick .8 per day
Satinder .45 per day
Watches-Shadow-Behind-You .6 per day
Daxur .6 per day
Khravos .5 per day
Engineer #3 .8 per day

Loved the pictures of the rooms you stayed in, btw Chris. Sharon looked happy as could be, lol. :)
Thanks. I told her the name of the B&B was "Alexander House Booklover's B&B" and she said "OH! Do they have a Jane Austen room?!" Yes. Yes, they did. :D
Gotta say, though, I've driven up and down the east coast, and Maryland drivers have a well-earned reputation for being the worst drivers in the country. Eastern Shore (east of the Chesapeake) drivers are the worst of the worst. Three times in a three-hour drive we encountered the MMRB (Maryland Moving Road Block). Two cars pacing one another side by side in a 2-lane highway, traveling 5mph under the speed limit. Frustrating, when you have some place to be.

Engineer #3's Answers for Questions.
(Image also linked on sheet, now)
What is your character's plans for the upcoming week?
Engineer intends to finish the journey to Sandpoint, delivering the NPCs safely and securely. Once at Sandpoint, he intends to seek out any sources of magical or psionic energy and mediate at that location.
What is your character's plans for the next month?
Once at a place of relative calm and quiet, Engineer desires a studio space where he can access quality crystal and stone. He has a craving to resume his sculpting and crafting, feeling his skills have begun to atrophy due to lack of use.
First time character felt "love"?
Traveling through the deep dungeons below Cauldron, Engineer felt the same as he ever had. During the "day," he fought and manifested at the front lines, protecting his compatriots to the best of his ability. During the times they rested, he maintained and repaired all of the equipment used or damaged.
One morning, the team's rogue Beauregard woke early, seeing him at his work.
"What are you doing, Three? How come you're oiling the limbs of my crossbow?" the halfling asked, rubbing sleep out of his eyes.
Quietly, in his deep baritone, Engineer responded, "I do not require the time overnight that the rest of you do. Rather than sit idle, I chose to fix and maintain the equipment. Would you prefer I not?"
"No, no, that's all fine and well," Beauregard responds as he begins packing up his bedroll. "Don't feel like you have to do that, though. You aren't my servant or anything, Three."
Engineer sits, pondering the statement. "I understand. I choose to help you, as friends. From my observations, this is something comrades do for one another. We are friends, correct?"
Beauregard smiles and nods, "Yes, Three. We are friends."

That's 150 game-play posts since January 29th...less than three weeks. We've averaged roughly 50 a week. I find that more than acceptable. Keeps me busy, lol.
I am super loving the character developments, and the situations we have going on. The dialogue makes me giggle way too often, hehehe.

I took most of the day off to spend with family. Went into the city, saw Kung fu Panda 3, got wine. I should post later tonight.
Waiting on Watches-Shadow-Behind-Me at the docks. Haven't heard from him since Wednesday. Anyone spoken with him? (Off chance, I know, but I figured I'd ask).

Alright, it's Sunday! This weeks question:
"Write a memory of something that made you feel disgust. You can tie it in to your sin (I asked about in the recruitment), into your first memory, into one of your NPC's...whatever you would like."
And tomorrow is my birthday, so in celebration, everyone gets 39 XP! Lol.

Okay...apparently I have a type, lol.
Lord Kaijitsu,
Lieutenant Belor Hemlock,
Captain Jarek Prath.
I'm noticing some male pattern shaved-head-ness going on...seriously. WTF is wrong with me? Lol.

This campaign really needs some more hair.
