Dimitrious will fly up to get a better look
MichaelCullen |
Noro begins to coordinate the chaos on the beach as Suny give chase to the fleeing bubble. With Suny giving chase Dimitrious easily spots the fleeing spot. Suny' speed in the water is more than enough to begin to overtake whatever it is she is chasing. Suny, what do you wish to do if you catch up? Or will you simply attempt to give chase and keep your distance?
Meanwhile back on the beach it is utter chaos, about half of the pirate lords seem to have little motivation to help once they realize their ships are intact. The other half seem to be in a frenzy of action. Some begin to head back to their ships, others like the Master of Gales begin using magic to aid in the situation. One looks particularly distraught and angry as she begins kicking a tree uttering a string of curse words in a nonending soliloquy. Noro, do you wish to aid in the efforts of those trying to help or try to motivate those who are so far unwilling? Feel free to use an appropriate skill check for your chosen method.
Noro the iron maiden |
Noro jumps to the front, trying to stop those that seem unwilling to help.
What the hell is yer problem!, ya call yerselves Captain's. fleein a battle. showin yer crew ya ain't got a spine to face the enemy cause ya can't see it? All of ya, get yer heads out of yer yellow asses and start getting some order to this mess.
intimidate: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
then moving to the woman kickin a tree, What's yer problem? ya loose yer ship? Well tough titties, ya get another one. and ya get out there and plunder yer ass off. I lost nearly everything, that SOB Harrigan took it all. now look what I got. ya don't see me pummelin a tree, no I save my pummelin for those that done wrong ta me.
another intimidate: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (2) + 13 = 15
well those rolls could have been better...
.Suny. |
More'n happy ta' swim around it an' jus' keep lookin' at this weird strangness. (^_^)
MichaelCullen |
Suny continues to keep pace with the creature, when it becomes aparant that it can't shake her at sea, it turns toward shore. Dimitrious flying above has no issue staying in sight of his target.
Noro's prodding spurs some of the pirate lords to action, though some seem content to just watch the chaos. Mistress Jebeal, the lord kicking the tree, simply ignores Noro's advice and continues her vulgar tirade.
So Suny and Dimitrious, you can continue chasing or try to do something before the bubble reaches shore. You will have about 3 rounds before that point.
Noro, Most of the pirates are being somewhat helpful though the beach is still a buzz of chaos.
.Suny. |
Sunny swims closer and calls out,
"Hey-ya there?" To the...thing...
First round used up...
Dimitrious Black |
Dimitrious will wait and let the mass of pirates deal with the thing
.Suny. |
I dun't think any one but ourselfs is close enough ta' be dealin' wiff tha... thing.... Dim... (>_>)
Noro the iron maiden |
not sure if Noro has any view of the thing in the water (assuming not right now)
Noro simply slaps Mistress Jebeal in the back of the head. Get yer crew in order afore I claim them as mine!
intimidate again if needed: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (15) + 13 = 28
regardless, Noro heads toward the water to start trying organize what she can and get at least her crew to make ready for another attack.
diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 17
MichaelCullen |
With the waves those on the beach really can't see what is swimming in the water, they can however see Dimitrious flying above and clearly chasing something. On the current path it looks like whatever Dimitrious is chasing is heading to the shore at the south of the Harbor. Trying to avoid the mass of angry pirates.
At Noro's insistence Mistress Jebeal ceases her cathartic tree kicking and starts barking orders at her accompanying crew.
Dimitrious Black |
Dimitrious will let whatever it is reach the shore
.Suny. |
Suny will let what ever it is reach shore. The shore is all sandy and stuffs. Things leave tracks in the sand. :)
Noro the iron maiden |
I think Noro will ensure everyone is working to keep the ships still in tacked from being destroyed or damaged.
she then moves to join her fellow crew, Sunny and Dim at the shoreline.
whatever you think ya are seeing, I want ta be giving it a piece of my fist.
MichaelCullen |
A good number of the assorted pirate crews begin to realize what is going on and begin running after Noro. An old friend is by her side.
The creature running swimming away from Suny, reaches the shore line just as Noro comes running down the beach.
The first few yards of the beach are sandy, but the sand quickly gives way to deep jungle. While tracking the creatures movements through sand will not be difficult, they could get quickly lost in the jungle. Though there are pirates here who could aid in further tracking, it would be a slower process.

Arjun Srivastava |
Arjun is spurred to action by the explosions and the appearance of a mysterious semi-invisible enemy. "I'm guessing that he is our culprit." He rushes forward and tries to skewer the figure.
Charge to the target's NW adjacent square.
1d20 + 25 ⇒ (13) + 25 = 381d6 + 24 ⇒ (5) + 24 = 29
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 95
Vishkanya Venom: Injury; frequency 1/round for 6 rounds; initial effect staggered 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds; secondary effect unconscious 1 minute; cure 1 save. Fortitude DC 22.
Noro the iron maiden |
All right! Let's assume Arjun has been in the background, observing and thinking deep thoughts.
Is a hotdog a sandwich?...
remember this...
intelligence means know that a tomato is really a fruitWisdom means not putting tomatos in a fruit salad
Philosophy means pondering if ketchup is a fruit smoothie
Noro the iron maiden |
Noro seems happy to see Arjun again, but decides that questions are best left for later.
Noro rushes forward as well hoping to catch the person off guard.

Arjun's blade finds its mark, and the venom begins to take hold.
Noro comes in for a swing but it goes wide as the creature slows down.
Dimitrious follows up with a flash of a spell. When the flash dissipates, the clear outline of a tailed man can be seen.
He puts something unseen to his lips and drinks.
Everyone is up.
Assorted pirates arrive at end of turn.
.Suny. |
Suny doesn't slow down, simply doing her best to 'barrel' into said shape.
CMB:1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17 (Does acting in 'Reckless abandon' and enthusiasm give any bonuses? XD )
Also looking to the DM's ruling. Would Suny, by spending 'Ki' points and activating her 'Ninja' trick gain bonuses to her attempt at entangling said target if she used 'Acrobat master' to giver herself a possible +20 to acrobatics to help tumble/entagle into said fray?
Noro the iron maiden |
Noro smiles at the success of Sunny (if it was a success), guess I'm rubbin off on ya. she says as she attempts to grab hold of the "invisible" foe.

Attack of Opportunity (if applicable): 1d20 + 23 ⇒ (14) + 23 = 371d6 + 24 ⇒ (6) + 24 = 30
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 60
Arjun takes careful aim and strikes at his target's legs.
Targeted Strike (legs): 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (13) + 25 = 381d6 + 24 ⇒ (6) + 24 = 30
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 52
Menacing Swordplay (swift action), Intimidate: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (4) + 18 = 22
(1) He needs to make a DC 22 Fortitude check to avoid falling unconscious for 1 minute. (2) Intimidate check 22 to demoralize. (3) If the attack succeeds, in addition to the attack’s normal damage, the target is knocked prone. No save.
MichaelCullen |
I am very sorry, I thought I had made a nice long post. Let's see if the die results are the same.
Fort save: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (5) + 13 = 18 Yup!
With a bit of a thud, the sparking outline of a ratman falls limp into the sand. Suny jumps, tucks and rolls into where he stood moments before. Her gracefulness allows her to stick a landing on the invisible rat man's chest as he lays on the sand.
As this occurs, some of the assorted pirate crews begin to arrive. Slow smiles of understanding cross their faces as they begin to put together what had happened.
Noro the iron maiden |
Noro simply grabs the limp form and for good measure smacks him on the side of the head.
she keeps hold of him until rope arrives to tie him up.
.Suny. |
Sunny stands and begins to brush the beach sand from her tanned, wet self. looking to her friends with a bright grin for a moment... before her attention is again back to the ships.
Noting that Captain Noro has the object of her chase well in hand Sunny nods and waves before tunring and racing back into the waters of the bay and zooming bac out to help the ships that have gotten into trouble.
Not sure what dice rolls to do for tha' ships whut're all brunin' an' stuffs... (>_>)
Does we have a list of which ships are sticken an' who is their captains?
MichaelCullen |
Rope arrives fairly quickly and Arjun and Noro are able to ensure that the bindings are tight.
As Suny surviels the damage, she notes that the Blood Moon Captained by Avimar Sorrinash, Wavecrest Mase Darimar, and Come What May Lady Cerise Bloodmourne, seem to have been the victims of the attack. Of the three ships Blood Moon and Wave Crest seem to have suffered the most damage. Come What May, has suffered slightly less. If you want to give me a proffesion Saior or Craft Carpentry check, I'll let you try to help save one. The check will represent a few minutes of work.
.Suny. |
*'Wavecrest', That's a nice name...* Suny thinks to herself as she begins trying to help those aboard the stricken vessel.

Dimitrious Black |
Not sure if this will help but...
Dimitrious will fly over and cast Make Whole Greater as quick as posssible i.e. once every 10 minutes
Noro the iron maiden |
with the culprit subdued for now, Noro tries to organize repair crews and save as much of the shops as can be.

craft ships: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

MichaelCullen |
Suny tries to put together some plugging materiel, but with all the sloshing around things just are not working well. Dimitrious flies over and begins to use magic to repair the damage done. Not much short of his greater make wholes could fix this ships in time to prevent a sinking. You can cast that spell once a round, unless I'm missing something.
Blood Moon: 3 rounds till unsalvagable, needs 42 hitpoints repaired by then.
Wavecrest: 6 rounds, 25 hitpoints or repair needed to prevent sinking
Comewhat may, 4 rounds, 50 hitpoints needed.
Noro begins to muster repair crews, which will be useful if the ships can be prevented from sinking.
.Suny. |
I am tryin' me bestest ta' be helpin'.

Suny remains focused and keeps working at helping the ship.
(^_^)
Yay! I din't go chasin' tha' shiny stuffs!
Arjun Srivastava |
Arjun gets a firm grip on the ratman and hoists him onto his shoulder like a sack. "I'm going to escort this gentleman to the ship. I will let you know when we are done talking."
MichaelCullen |
Suny shoves a wadded up hammock into a gaping whole in the bulkhead. The plug slows the flooding water a bit, buying a little more time.
Dim here are the ship statuses as of the moment.
Blood Moon: 3 rounds till unsalvagable, needs 42 hitpoints repaired by then.
Wavecrest: 7 rounds (Suny is working to buy more time), 25 hitpoints of repair needed to prevent sinking
Come What May: 4 rounds, 50 hitpoints needed.

Never had an opportunity to use this spell before this adventure, It's pretty damn useful
MichaelCullen |
Its mentioned as one of the few ways to save a sinking ship, as it is one of the few things that can repair them fast enough.
Wood warps and splinters grow as the ships weave themselves back together. Their sinking seems at least temporarily forstalled, though their damage is significant.
Though the beach is a scene of much chaos with many pirates unsure of what just happened, there are a few heads that seem to be remaining calm. One of these calmer heads is no less than the Master of Gales himself. He walks over to Arjun amongst the racket and whispers,
After that he makes his way over to Noro, Some of these captains will be needing wood and lines for repairs, I assume you and your isle can supply them?
"Sunny" |
If we is needin' more rolls...
Craft(carpentry):1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Knowledge(engineering):1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Profession(sailor):1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Would actually be better for Sunny to 'drape' any canvas over the 'outside' of the holes and let water pressure keep them plastered in place. (^_^)
MichaelCullen |
Suny continues her efforts to repair the Wavecrest, plugging holes and bracing bulkheads. She even swims outside the ship to try to help repair it from there. Her efforts are met with some success, but the complete repair of the ship is an overwhelming task for one person. After about 10 minutes of work, she feels confident that the ship is safe, at least for the time being. At about that time, crew members begin to arrive from shore to help put her back together. Their faces vary from anger to astonishment, but most seem happy to see the work you have put in.
.Suny. |
Yay!
Who else needs a helpin'? (^_^)
Percpetion:1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
:/ Yay tha' dice roller.... Oh! Shiny!... :P
Dimitrious Black |
My work here is done, I am off to recuperate. See you all come morning
Arjun Srivastava |
Arjun gives a little bow. "Why, certainly, Master of Gales. I never mind an audience."
The vishkanya hauls the unconscious ratman to a nearby tree and sets him down, propping him up with his back to the trunk. He is economic in his movements, straightening his captive's limbs and brushing sand from his clothes. "There we are. Any job worth doing is worth doing well." He kneels beside the ratman in the sand in a lotus position. He closes his eyes and takes deep breaths. In through the nose, out through the mouth. He reaches to his back and retrieves his dagger. "Ah, my little dagger. It has been too long. It is time to introduce you to a new friend. His name is Mr. Whiskers for now. I hope you like him."
Arjun regards his captive for a moment, then announces, "Alright, Mr. Whiskers. Time to wake up." He reaches down, grips a pinkie toe, and slices it off.
The obvious occurs. Arjun is patient. The screaming, the cursing, the bargaining and pleading -- all these things must be met with silence. Calm serenity. They must never be in control. Only when they are exhausted and docile do you speak. "You know things that I want to know. I am willing to hurt you for this information. I hope you have no doubts regarding my resolve as we move forward. I will ask you nine questions. If you answer to my complete satisfaction, nothing happens. For every question you do not answer to my complete satisfaction, I will cut off a toe. You will be healed after every cut to ensure you do not bleed to death. How many toes you retain is entirely your decision."
Arjun idly tests the edge of his dagger with his thumb. "Do you require any further clarification?"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37 Aw yiss.
Noro the iron maiden |
Its mentioned as one of the few ways to save a sinking ship, as it is one of the few things that can repair them fast enough.
Wood warps and splinters grow as the ships weave themselves back together. Their sinking seems at least temporarily forstalled, though their damage is significant.
Though the beach is a scene of much chaos with many pirates unsure of what just happened, there are a few heads that seem to be remaining calm. One of these calmer heads is no less than the Master of Gales himself. He walks over to Arjun amongst the racket and whispers, ** spoiler omitted **
After that he makes his way over to Noro, Some of these captains will be needing wood and lines for repairs, I assume you and your isle can supply them?
Noro nods to the Master of Gales, aye, we will provide all that we can.
When she sees Sunny, Sunny, I need ya to use yer charms again on those giant folk, see if they can help with wood and supplies for these damaged ships, if ya don't mind
"Sunny" |
I think Sunny is still distracted with..um.. stuffs...? (>_>)
*Hugz* Agin, thank'e fer tha' thought, Captain Noro. (^_^)
MichaelCullen |
The rat man's eyes grow wide and he winces in pain. No more clarification needed, no more needed.
With Suny on the Wavecrest, Noro is none the less able to direct the collection wood and lines. Enough at least to affect the necessary repairs to the ships. One question though, are you charming fair prices, giving the supplies away, or charging an exorbitant rate?
