Noro and Jax knock out the Sahuagin by the entrance, while Arjun and Dimitrious take out one deeper in the chamber. Suny tries to move up into the chamber but finds her usual grace absent as she cuts a toe on a sharp rock causing her to jerk her knee up rapidly and flail about for a second.
Two of the remaining Sahuagin move over and attack Arjun.

While Arjun is too agile for most of the blows he is unable to dodge one of the claws, blood is drawn from his arm.

Numerous strange, organic filaments fill this chamber, running from floor to ceiling like columns. Fist-sized pink ovoids float from the filaments, bobbing in the lazy current.

My knowledge of these tunnels is somewhat limited, I was captured by the sahuagin as a way for them to extort my tribe, I suppose you have already surmised that these tunnels connect back out to the sea. For the last three months all I have known is this cave. I will endeavor to make my escape, your help will not be forgotten.

The cave ends abruptly up ahead, it seems that this was used as a hatchery.

@Noro, it's seems mundane but is is amazing what having a piece of someone's property can do.

The cave appears to continue down to the south but this section is fully submerged.
Water breathing is a 3rd level spell that is on everyone's spell list. If you want to barrade your self her and rest up Kyranda could memorize it for the morning. If you are worried about an ambush you could always move back out of the cave and rest up on the island or on your ship. Other options are always open.

Air bubble is an option, the only issue is its duration and the fact it can only target one target. Air bubble will work, if you have enough of them.
Air bubble is min/lvl with one target.
Water breathing is 2hours/lvl diveded by creatures touched.

The water in this cavern is murky with the haze of fresh blood, and gobbets of flesh float in the water. The room swarms with sahuagin fingerlings and newly hatched sahuagin fry. The seaweed curtains in this room are thick enough to generally keep these hatchlings contained and prevent them from wandering loose through the lair where they would be at risk of predation by the other sahuagin. A large oversized sahuagin female sits bored in the corner.
