I am swamped at work right now. I am preparing a grant proposal single-handed this week (yes, they gave me a week to finish it) and my free time has disappeared. I'm sorry if I've been absent/slow in posting. I will be finished today, and catch up this weekend with posting. I am sorry for the interruption and thank you for being understanding.
Now that I think about it, I want to stay aboard our ship. Dimitrious isn't really captain material and we have a cannon to play with.

Dear Everyone,
I am posting this to all of my games. I'm sorry for my lack of communication. Life has been dumping on me.
My work load is still overwhelmingly heavy, and we had a major medical scare in my family. My son had a relatively simple case of strep throat, and we learned the hard way that he is allergic to penicillin. Very allergic. We've been dealing with medical issues for over a week now.
I will be going on inactive status for a short while. I need to get things in order and I barely have time in my daily schedule to eat dinner with my family let alone do any gaming. Between too much work, finishing my dissertation, and my son's health, I have too much on my plate.
If you feel the need to replace my character, I understand. I will reach out to you when things settle down to see if there is still an opening. Probably in a few weeks.

this game has slowed a bit... I hope it continues, I really like it (even though my posting has been forced to be reduced some.)

We seem to have lost our Captain. The last time she posted was back in November. I have no issue continuing on but we should probably determine who is in charge off the ship now that she is gone.

Noro IMO is best suited for the captain's chair, I can barely see over the railing.

The party got 150,000 on April 15. You gave the crew 20%. There were 7 PCs at the time so that came to 17,142 per PC.
On Dec 29 2014 the party got 80,000 gold and gave 20% to the crew. Some of this was spent on upgrading the ship I believe. I think everyone ended up with about 6,300 out of that.
If someone wants to go back and do a tally of the income and expenditures they can. I can probably get it done in the next couple of days if not. In the mean time you can use the 23k figure (you will almost certainly end up with more than that).

Your ship at full HP has 215 hitpoints. (200 plus 15 for the reinforced mast)
I am assuming you are "well provisioned" and therefore have enough supplies to fully repair the ship once. (215 hp worth). Make whole can be used as well.

@DM: I do have 8 bags foaming powder in our hull, in case it helps.
Also I thought Make Whole worked on magic items and constructs, if it works on our ship. I will buy a wand of it next level.

Make whole targets one object of up to 10 cu. ft./level or one construct creature of any size.
Most of the structural pieces of the ship are within that size limit. So make whole works well. In fact in the game mastery guide it is specifically mentioned as one of the few things that could repair enough damage fast enough to save a sinking ship.
The foaming powder would have helped had you taken on more water. Luckily the hole was plugged fast enough to prevent the powder from getting wet. They survive to help another day.

So we are nearing the end of this book. I am in a place in life where things are getting a little less hectic and would like to keep this campaign continuing. Let's finish up the race and then try to take on a few more players.
