Welcome Silas, Erik, Zeph, Sagacious, Reikananths, and Amantha.

Let me first start off by saying welcome to all the players who haven't had the pleasure of gaming with me and welcome back and I'm sorry to those that have. I'm glad you have chosen me as your DM and I hope to not disappoint.

I'd like to take a little time and get to know my players so below you will find a brief bio on me and if you feel comfortable writing one for yourself, feel free to do so.

I am currently running several games on these boards(this game brings me up to 12) and my players almost always enjoy themselves. I've been playing Pathfinder since about 2010 but have played D&D 3.5, Shadowrun, Final Fantasy table top, Vampire the Masquaraide(one session), as well as several home brewed games in the past so all together I have about 15-20 years of gaming experience.

I also enjoy role playing video games and have been a hopeless final fantasy junky for the last 15 years. I've played both MMO versions of Final Fantasy and even met my fantastic wife while playing FFXI. I currently play FFXIV though it isn't as fun as XI was in its hay day(before level cap was raised beyond 75). I have also played dragon age origins extensively.

I have an on again and off again relationship with Magic the Gathering which is currently on again lol. It is something my step son and I enjoy doing together, even though he insists on building the most annoying decks on the planet(Mill, Infect, and Madness).

I have been married for two years and a week and have gotten my wife hopelessly addicted to Pathfinder. Ever since she watched me run a table of Raise of the Runelords she's been hooked. Recently I've had the privilege of introducing two of my sons to Pathfinder as well as one of of their friends. Its nice to know that I spread the drug that is Pathfinder to younger generations. Now every time they come to visit(they don't live with us) they beg me to run something for them. One of these days we will actually start and complete a campaign...have yet to accomplish that.

Game play thread is up for everyone as well for those of you who want to dot.

Oh something I forgot to mention that you guys can keep in mind when polishing your characters is I don't run with coin weight(for those of you using hero lab) or Encumbrance.

I have been playing RPG's since last millenia, got my two children playing too (a nice family activity) and on this days I try to "scratch the itch" with PbP games.

I play Pathfinder almost exclusively, even if I am trying to get a couple Call of Cthulhu games going. I also LOVE Arcana Evolved, Iron Heroes and other RPG's.

I live in México, and spanish is my mother's tongue, so if I sometimes write "weird" stuff, sorry, it's probably a mistake on my part.

I have been playing RPG's on and off since 1981, the only other RPG besides pathfinder and D&D that I have played was gamma world. The DM kicked me out as I died 5 times during 5 sessions.

I am married no children living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am running a home game with two of my original group from high school(We are at 14th Level)I would describe myself as a "Beer and Pretzels" type player. I don't argue with players or the DM

I do enjoy building powerful effective characters, playing a "Cleric" type will be quite a departure from my usual characters.(I am an arcane junkie).

Still working on cleaning up my spellbook.

The decision between R1/Wiz3/AT9 or R2/Wiz3/AT8 has been vexing.

9 rounds of Improved Invisibility on one hand versus Evasion and a Sneak Attack Rogue Talent on the other.

Hey everybody. So I figure I'll just write a quick bio about myself. I've been gaming not very long. I started at age 13-14 so somewhere around 04-05ish. Since then I've played 3.5, Pathfinder, Vampire the Masquerade, and Werewolf the Apocalypse. I'd love to branch out and play more games, but I'm pretty limited to PbP games for the time being, and playing new systems that aren't readily available like Pathfinder is a pretty big hindrance. I've been married for almost 5 years, and we have a 6 year old daughter together. I work 3rd shift, really hellish hours lately, but it'll calm down soon because it's warehouse work, and it's inventory time of the year. I'll be going to school soon for Network Security and IT, I just have to get a schedule that works around my job. But they're paying for my schooling so it's completely worth it.

I'm really excited that I got picked. I enjoy making and playing new characters, and I've been itching to play a witcher-esque character lately. I figure I'll induldge you all on my crank of choice, I've also had an on again off again relationship with World of Warcraft....I'm sad to report it's on again. But I've learned from our past mistakes, and I'm proud to say that this time I am in control of the crazy gold digger. I'm excited to get started with you all though, this looks like it'll be a ton of fun.

Sadly I lost about 3 weeks of life to World of Warcraft(that is playing straight though except for sleeping 2-3 hours a night) back in college that I had professors concerned I was still alive lol. A friend came by my room and was shocked to find me in my underwear(same pair I had been wearing for 3 weeks) surrounded by pizza boxes and soda cans. He tried to tip my chair over to get me up but at 370 pounds it was more of a chore than he could handle so he just wheeled me in my chair to the shower, me protesting the entire time.

Ooof. I kicked my WoW habit a while ago. Haven't looked back!

Excited to be gaming with you all! Mathpro, tweaking a couple of things. Changed race to Human (dat bonus feat), and altered a couple of items a bit, but it's pretty much the same otherwise. Tien has a 10-minute background and a brief background in his profile. If you need more, let me know.

Personality wise, he's a little like Ip Man as portrayed by Donnie Yen. Pretty relaxed dude, on the side of the angels, philosophical and wise, but will absolutely wreck face when necessary.

I don't think think that Silas and Zeph will get in each other's way much.

Silas is supposed to be a sneaky scout/assassin/first strike artist as opposed to the guy with the bazooka.

I have been gaming since highschool (way back in the 80s) but I have not been in a face-to-face game since 2007, as all my gaming buds moved away. (Though I have an L5R game set on Sunday) Nevertheless I have been involved in PBPs since that time, playing DND, Pathfinder, Warhammer, Paranoia, Call of Cthulhu, etc.

Timeline-wise, do I assume correctly that the game is set after the Curse of the Crimson Throne AP?

Also, I hate to be that guy but as a player I'm pretty much a lawful neutral rules monkey. Erik, your perception should 23, not 36. Bonus skill ranks from your headband do not stack with ranks you already possess.

Pretty common error, I find. People see the "Bonus Ranks" section and miss the "Doesn't Stack" part.

But yeah, +36 was like...lolwhut?

Gah! I even double checked the item description. That's OK though. 23 is still huge.

Hey guys I'm sorry to do this but life is getting to hard to manage and still be able to post here so I'm going to have to take a hiatus from the boards to get some stuff figured out. Between loosing my job in a week(no replacement found yet) to having to come up with 3k in the week to get some stuff paid, to personal family stuff I just don't have the time to post in games right now. I'm sorry to kill things so early on...we've barely gotten off the ground. I figure I better let you know now rather than just going silent. I will message all of you to let you know if/when I return and we might be able to pick things up where we left off.
