Is getting enough rest to have spells prepared tomorrow going to prove an issue tonight? It sounds like a late night/early morning. That's fine if that's the case, I'd just like to know.
It's suddenly occurring to me that our mark probably wont want to be dragged from his bed at 4 in the morning to share a drink.
I've also 11,000 words to write with deadlines between tuesday afternoon and friday week, and I'm seriously crumpling under the workload. Somehow every year I never manage to get it all done early, and October is always a killer. If I vanish unexpectedly, I'll likely have chained myself to a library desk until I make some bloody progress... I'll try not to be absent too long.
I'm on two weeks hols now. Not that it will be a wonderfully relaxing recess with the twins but I hope it means that I will have more energy to keep this flowing.
Oh my goodness! My browser has given me no indication that there were new posts in gameplay, even as it has consistently kept me updated about the discussion thread. I was wondering what people were talking about!

Hey there, I'm one of Marcus's gaming pals and he is leaving our Council of Thieves game due to the aftermentained RL issues. Would anyone be interested in perhaps joining? (BTW, I would love to hop into this game I think it is awesome)
We are almost at the end of the second CoT module and that would be a good time to join once we finish it. We blaze along quickly for those who like a fast paced game. I will post a link to our discussion page and you can perhaps drop our DM, Baldwin the Merciful a line.
Sad to see you go Marcus. I am also struggling alot at the moment. Twins really have me at my wits end. It is a slow patch and I will endeavor to find the motivation to make the time to proceed.
Marcus, I hope whatever it is in RL eases up or becomes manageable for you mate. It was a pleasure GM'ing for you.
I had considered giving away this game as the time and energy required was just toooooooooo much of a burden on me.
If you can bare with me, I will try get through this mental breakdown and come out the other side and return this to norm.

STR Ranger, it has been a pleasure. I seriously admire the effort and depth you put into Marcus and it was great fun to play that little romance between Marcus and Ascaria. I'm really sad to see you drop but but life is life and always takes precedence over gaming. I totally understand.
Waife, sure thing. I can't get around how you kept this running in this detail up to this point in the first place. Take your time. Also, if you'd like to scale back on the detail (veeeery involved maps, lots of side plots, all those character pics on Flickr, ...) I'd be totally ok with it. If you manage to get this running again, it'd be great. If not it was still a big fun ride!

It really saddens me to see you go, STR Ranger. I've really enjoyed playing with you in both this game and in the Legacy of Fire one. I do hope you get things sorted out, and that I have the chance to play with you again some day.
As for the pace of this game, Waife, don't worry about it. Take all the time you need. We'll be ready when things get moving again.

I've been toying with the idea of trying out PFS play-by-post. Has anybody here any experience with that? I would expect that the shorter scenarios are maybe better suited for such a drawn out thing as PBP.
