Well, part of the problem is Xanxan is chaotic good, slight push on the C. If he thinks folks are ordering him (Whether that's the intent or not) on how to use his talents, he's very likely to do get pig headed and contrary about it. Since that could lead to further trouble in game, I thought it best to mention it. Those who know him would know of his whimsical and sometimes contrary nature. While I appreciate how one might have to deal with a low charisma, hopefully the wisdom scores will grant enough insight to notice
Chiming in on the cha thing, I am having Variel have a normal cha around his friends for the most part. That way we all get along and the game flows smoothly, hopefully. It is with strangers that he will be more introverted and short worded with. Also as mentioned, Variel has certain social flaws like being late that I attribute to his low cha.

A clarification point on my last post with Aneira: the only reason she suggested Gabe hang back was so he would not be hit again. She was not saying he should be the one pulling the travois since I presumed the horse would be doing that ... I did realise the equipment, chest etc weighed a lot and be too much for Gabe to pull/drag.
Actually, Aneira, it was Variel who suggested I pull the travois ;)
But I kind of figured he may not have meant that literally. Anyway, it's all good either way, I just wanted to clarify in case the GM wanted to be sure.

So the thing is; Gabryjel isn't always the most fun person to work with in terms of his personality.
I initially had a slightly different build/personality for him to begin with, but I tweaked him a bit to give him these stats and personality instead.
I feel like his attitude doesn't mesh very well with the group. He's just too dark and anti-social.
GM: Would it be possible to tweak his stats back to where they were before so he wasn't so... bad... socially?
It would mean a slightly lower Dexterity but a higher Charisma; so he'd be less effective in fighting, but he'd probably seem nicer. It may also tweak his backstory a bit, too - making it more "nice" and less "dark".
Would that be okay?

At his point I kind of want to nip the problem in the bud now, before it spoils anyone's fun later.
I just want him to be able to work well with the group, so if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.
Gabe has been rather dark and anti-social and perhaps lifting some of that dark cloud from his shoulders would go a long way in social rp, IMHO.
Will you be keeping his disfigurement and voice impediment as part of Gabe's backstory? Or will that go with the stat readjustment?
Chances are that the disfigurement and impediment would go away because it effects his ability to communicate easily with the group; and the dynamic is that people would pay more attention to his prowess as a killer as opposed to his words anyway.
But my initial plan with him was he was more like a cowboy/frontier's man. Kind of shy around "civilized" folk. The whole gimmick with his connection the Fey was that the Fey were kind of like Native American tribes and he learned his wilderness skills from them (I borrowed a lot of the ideas I have about the Fey from an old Kingmaker game I played in; the Fey were a bit more unique in that setting; I wanted to do elves, but elves felt too "common" as a race and not tribal or "un-civilize" enough).
I'm thinking of trying to go back to something like that, but I'm not entirely sure.
I guess we'll find out what the GM says, though.

Well with Gabe's connection to the Fey and Aneira's Fey blood, they still have that connection/shared storyline in game.
We bought my father in law a wireless router so we'd have internet access while we stay here (til friday it looks like), but we'll be busy at hospital and stuff a lot - please still bot me if I don't post as I don't know when I'll be free to do so.

On the upside, I'm back from my trip and will be able to post now, though it is going to be a crazy busy week for me so, my posting will be sporadic at best. I have several dr's appts, have to drive a friend to the hospital for surgery, a couple of parties to attend - just crazy busy. I will post when I can.

Thanks Venja, things are going okay. My MIL's heart has stabilized at 15% of normal function and her kidneys stabilized, so she is very fragile but alive. The doctors don't hold out much hope, but say she could go at any time, or could live another five or six months. Unfortunately, she will have to live in an intensive care cardiac facility for the rest of her life, so she isn't going to have a great quality of life for whatever time she has left. She is very depressed over this, but accepting it. My FIL is not looking forward to living alone either. Not a good outcome no matter how you look at it, and we are dreading each phone call, of course. My husband is going through the motions of daily life, but I can tell he's very upset over this week having perhaps been his last visit with his mom.

Fatigued
A fatigued character can neither run nor charge and takes a –2 penalty to Strength and Dexterity. Doing anything that would normally cause fatigue causes the fatigued character to become exhausted. After 8 hours of complete rest, fatigued characters are no longer fatigued.
