Shoot away my friends, they should be slowed down and delayed for a few moments at least.

As a note, Black Tentacles is a spread, not a burst. So, it should go around the walls and get into the sleeping cubicles. Completely filling the closest two and also hitting O33. Although, it O33 is completely divided by the wall, then the tentacles may not be able to get to that square.

Just mentioning this in case there are any pests (hobgoblins) in any of those effected squares.

Walls stop a burst. Walls only stop a spread if it completely seals the place off. So, in theory a closed door would not stop a spread, but a sealed door would. Thus, if the spread can make around the wall, like both adjacent cubicles, then it should effect them. Only O33 is really out of the area of effect.

Tomkin, I have been reading up on blink, at least enough to get a better sense of your pup's talent. In the ethereal plane you and your dog proceed into the room and notice the bone devil you had nearly slain. It appears completely healed. If you want to move to O33, you need to get by the devil, or pass through the wall. The other alternative is to move south to V30 where you could face the hobgoblin spellcaster who is unentangled.

Will Save DC 18 for half damage and negates the Sickened condition.


The voice of the Bone Devil fills your heads as it speaks in a menacing tone.
