As the light flashes, Nemoris finally gets a look at their opponent. With the afterimage seared into his eyes, he fires at where he last saw the massive ape, his first arrow cutting off its bellow abruptly with a wet thunk and a gurgle. The beast crashes to the ground heavily.

Hoots and shrieks come from both corridors getting louder and wilder.

Hard to tell, even those with darkvision can't see beyond the radius of Nowzais light spell which is 20 foot from him

"If we want to regroup outside the door, collapse on me and I will teleport us again. Otherwise, head down that hallway. Eventually we will clear the magical darkness. Nowzai uses his spider climbing slippers to walk down to the group.

"We need to get out of here now!!

Dalamus will frantically try to find a way out, clearly petrified by the blindness.

Tike how long does the greater invisibility last? If it is based on my level then 9 rounds, but I am not sure in this case

"I think we need to get back out past that door and at least in the light, what ever is coming down the hall may be nice enough to open the door for us but we have to get into the light."

Sam will fly up and throw all the weapons the monkey had on the balcony into his bag of holding before meeting everyone at the door if that won't take too long

We need to teleport back out....We are ill prepared to fight in darkness, especially if there is more than one of them!

Once everyone is in contact with Nowzai, he will dimensional step the group back to the other side.

Epik moves back to Nowzai, while healing himself.

Balcony Round 3

Sam, Magma, Epik, Jenya, Nowzai, Nemoris, Dalamus

Sam moves to the balcony and starts gathering axes. (There are 6 in all, gather 2 per move action, 4 left to go)

Magma moves to the gorilla and begins the grisly act of cutting off it's head, dropping his long hammer and drawing a blade to do so.

Epik moves to Dalamus and heals him while Jenya drops a channel on the party. All heal: 4d6 ⇒ (1, 6, 2, 3) = 12

Nowzai moves to the door and waits for everyone else.

A collective roar comes from the northern hallway while a chattering of hoots and screeches comes from the west hallway along with the scrabbling of claws on stone.

Nemoris and Dalamus for action

Dalamus will try to find his way to Nowzai. I am assuming it is still darkness and I am unable to see anything, correct?

I still can't see anything, but I definitely agree we need to teleport out. Let's comeback for the weapons afterwards... hopefully it goes unsaid that we can wait to.. mutilate the corpses until everyone is safe.
Nemoris grimaces, not that anyone can see it in the dark.

If that doesn't prompt Magma to abandon taking the head, I'll yell at him to leave it and get over here. Half of us are blind and he's wasting time.

Once we make it through the gate, I'll move to a location that allows me to see the approach from north and the gate, ready an action to use a full round attack on any enemy seen or sensed:

Perception check: Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

Full attack:
Attack: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16 Damage: 1d8 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19 Miss:1d100 ⇒ 83 Crit: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (9) + 11 = 20

The Balcony Round 4

Sam, Magma, Girralon, Epik, Jenya, Nowzai, CK, Ak, Nemoris, Dalamus

Sam flies down and gathers near the party. DM says: Roll a d6

Magma stops sawing on the creature's neck, gathering his longhammer and heading

The hooting and hollering from earlier becomes more grunting and snorting, and beyond the 20 foot bubble of darkness you can see through, you sense and feel something beyond it ... several somethings in fact. Hot snorts blow mucous and heat your direction. They're close ...

Epik and Jenya move over to Nowzai dragging Dalamus with them as the wizard teleports everyone to the other side and sweet light illuminates the area around you as the torches and Nowzai's spell regain their ability (although Nemoris' torch would still be on the ground inside ... now that I think about it).

Actions for Round 5

The Dice:

G Init: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23
CK Init: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Ak Init: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11

Nowzai will move back from the door 30 feet, and cast shield. Note, the archons will teleport themselves to us.

I will also use my ward of grease to cover in front of the gate, save the Tentacles for past that maybe?

The Balcony Round 5

Sam moves out first (will you delay to use your grease? If so, to what init order) -- Still need a d6

Magma moves and sets up position facing the door, ushering the others behind him while Epik heals Dalamus and then fins a place to gather and wait as well.

(Jenya can heal Dalamus or cast a buff ... party choice)

Nowzai moves out 30 feet down the passageway and casts shield, his archons hovering around him patiently.

The hoots and howls continue inside the cavern as Nemoris and Dalamus follow the others to set up position.

Haven't added the archons to the map, yet ... will do so shortly

Ahh, no sorry hadn't looked at the map, I will just wait till the next round, if nothing has come through the door I will drop it then, if something has come through the door I will change up the plan
