Chimera and Sons

Init: Dalamus, Sam, CK Thugs, Nemoris, Akkituk, Magma, Slycora, Epik, CK Savages, CK Stalkers, Nowzai, Jenya

Dalamus strikes out with lighting speed, sending a charau-ka to the ground in a spray of blood. On the other end of the hall, Sam floats down from the ceiling, his target seemingly unaware as the electrically charged blade flashes three times severing the creature's spine and then separating its head from its shoulders as it continues to fight on past death, finally sending it to meet its demon god. Beside him, Nemoris puts a couple arrows into the screaming fanatic north of him.

Sam, doesn't matter for this attack, but they aren't wearing metal armor, they're near feral jungle creatures ... no +3

The thugs retaliate, moving to surround and flank the rogue getting a couple blows with their clubs in.

More chanting from the darkness and Magma feels an immense weight rest upon his shoulders as magical foreboding settles on him (Will Save DC18 or be cursed, taking a -4 penalty on attack rolls, saves, skills and ability checks)

The stonechilde continues his assault (regardless of the -4 or not the first two attacks miss), but is only able to get one attack through. The chimera steps back away from the group and focuses its efforts on the paladin goring him and clawing at him, before the champion of Iomedae removes all three of its heads with a powerful double stroke of his blade.

Nemoris' opponent, frothing at the mouth, swings his club in great overhand strokes following up with a savage bite that catches nothing but air. Nowzai's magic deflects one blow, but with a surge of rage the monkey-man powers through and gets the second through through.

The two] charau-ka in the back, hoods covering their faces move to flank Nemoris, drawing an opportune attack from Jenya who misses. The ranger's armor prevents the two from hurting him.

Chimera and Sons Round 5

Init: Dalamus, Sam, CK Thugs, Nemoris, Akkituk, Magma, Epik, CK Savages, CK Stalkers, Nowzai, Jenya

Dalamus flows smoothly to strike at the next thug, cutting it once as the Mantis Blade sighs disappointedly when the rogue fails to kill the creature with his second blow.

Sam floats over Nowzai lashing down at the wizard's assailant and sending arcs of electricity flying throughout the creature causing it to convulse and shake and ultimately explode into small burned pieces.

The thugs fighting Dalamus slow down immensely as their shrieking frenzy leaves them, breathing heavily and their clubs sluggishly through the air at him. The rogue dodges them all with ease.

Behind the throne, the southern party catches the older charau-ka step out of the darkness from behind the strange structure in the middle of the room and hustle up the corridor leading north where multiple charau-ka line the walls watching the battle raging to the south, baring teeth and hooting, but none carrying weapons. He stops to cast a spell and a barrier of mist raises up around him obscuring view of the corridor.

Spinning his hammer around his head, Magma lashes right and left and the two charau-ka within his reach collapse, brains oozing out the side of their crushed skulls.

Beside him, Epik heals himself quickly and then stalks over to the last charau-ka on the south side and cleanly beheads the creature.

At Nemoris on the north side ... depending on his rolls he may take out both remaining adversaries before their action

Yes I have 2 pools for myself and the blade, I actually forgot about the Blades pool, I will add that in. I don't have my sheet in front of me so I will check when I get home but I think I am at 8.64 of 12.64 as I also recalled a spell before the last fight, I will make sure I add in my total pool into my breakdown when I get home.

Chimera & Sons Final Round

Nemoris turns in a spinning circle, arrows flying from his bow. The two remaining charau-ka are stopped in their tracks and the shrieking frenzy ends ... for a moment.

End Combat ... or at least this part of it ...

A quiet hush falls over the cavern as Magma moves forward into the mist, quickly being swallowed up from his companions' view.

A hushed whisper can be heard throughout the cavern which slowly rises in volume. The high-pitched hoots and shrieking have ended, and the whispering turns into an odd rhythmic chanting and breathing. The remaining charau-ka in the area ... which by the sounds, there are many still left ... are actually saying something interspersed by unintelligble monosyballic sounds.

"BA ... RE ... GA ... RA ... BA ... RE ... GA ... RA!" they chant, over and over again, rising in volume until they're screaming it out loud, still in unison and accentuated with drum beats and what sounds like stomping and pounding.

Still in Round by Round ... same initiative

This place is crawling with the presence of demons and it is difficult for me to sort out the specifics, but there is a high concentration of demon energy coming from the northwest. It is very potent

As much as you need. It fills the area it's in. Can hide for total or snipe for regular cover

Haste expires at the beginning of Round 4. Silence will expire some where near there as well. Entangle will be up for a while.

You said there would be more info if someone made the roll on Baregara

I will fly over to Epik and Dalamus and shout at Magma, "We have a named demon coming, we need to regroup and decide if it's time to retreat and heal or keep pushing forward!"

Use the remaining 40 ft of dimension steps to move ahead, then move over to get behind the paladin.

Yes, I don't have enough left to move Nemoris. Sam is flying, so shouldn't have much trouble with the entangle.

I actually think I can pick Nemoris up and bring him with, I don't think he weighs the 300+ like Magma

But also once we are all together I am going to strongly suggest we go and rest and prep better for this next fight


Entangle should be visible .... green aura centered on Jenya? I didn't make any changes, just reselected it a couple times

Baregara is more accurately a species, although there are so few of them, I'm not surprised these savages use it as its name. Not technically a demon, it's as close to one as you can be. However, it shares demon vulnerabilities and abilities along with extreme strength and fortitude. It feeds on fear and perceived weakness gaining literal strength from it. They have phenonmenal perception and command of simians as well as some unique paralytic powers. They're known to be vicious in close quarters, so I'd approach with caution

Init: Baregara, Dalamus, Sam, Nemoris, Akkituk, Magma, Epik, Nowzai, Jenya

Dalamus moves swiftly behind the sculpture, drawing his bow and checking his arrows as he hunkers down muttering to himself.

Sam flies over the entangled hallway, bursting out of the silence and shouting his warning.

Nemoris casts a spell and begins to move (Make save ... if you fail ... make concentration check to cast. Difficult terrain regardless. Half speed if you fail save. Let me know where you end up)

Magma, hearing the chanting, casts a warding spell as he enters the mist. Behind him, Epik empowers his blade with a holy light as Nowzai appears next to him.

Jenya begins to struggle her way through the entangled mass. (Need to know if she must cast any spells/channels on Nemoris/Nowzai last round and this round)

Answers for above and Round 2 actions please. Map should be updated except for moving Nemoris and Jenya
