Magma, adding a +1 ability on top of the +1 enchantment is ~8k gp, which i can't afford. I would still prefer the +1 great sword.

I didn't realize the long sword was adamantine, but I'm less concerned about DR since I can bypass it with smite evil.

I think he wants a great sword, so you'll need to take the longsword and another small weapon (dagger/hand axe) to make an adamantine greatsword. There is no adamantine ore for sale in Cauldron.

You weren't rushing when you went through the armory so as long as you have space in your bag of holding (weight limit) for all of that, you're welcome to have grabbed it. I think that's a 500lb bag, so you may not be able to grab everything.

I don't recall ... I listed them at the time, did I not? They should be. Pretty much everything they used (spears/crossbows/shields) was masterwork. If there was physical armor, it was normal.

I'll get an updated Skie's out tonight, hopefully.

I imagine the shields are the heaviest with the lowest value, but I also think that Nemoris has a 'bag of holding' quiver that he can carry a bunch of short spears in one of the slots, so we might be good if he can carry some of those, if I am remembering the quiver correctly.

But I would vote for leaving shields behind before anything else

On another note.

Is here any real estate available in town? Or did we take over the Inn that was in the jungle?

Just thinking having a base of operations where we could keep that kick ass chest would be awesome, and if Nowzai and all of us could have a co-op shop that could also be cool .

Not sure if the taxes being so crappy would make this stupid / unviable.

Spell Storing:

A spell storing weapon allows a spellcaster to store a single targeted spell of up to 3rd level in the weapon. (The spell must have a casting time of 1 standard action.) Any time the weapon strikes a creature and the creature takes damage from it, the weapon can immediately cast the spell on that creature as a free action if the wielder desires. (This special ability is an exception to the general rule that casting a spell from an item takes at least as long as casting that spell normally.) Once the spell has been cast from the weapon, a spellcaster can cast any other targeted spell of up to 3rd level into it.

Rod of Withering:
A rod of withering acts as a +1 light mace that deals no hit point damage. Instead, the wielder deals 1d4 points of Strength damage and 1d4 points of Constitution damage to any creature she touches with the rod (by making a melee touch attack). If she scores a critical hit, the damage from that hit is permanent ability drain. In either case, the defender negates the effect with a DC 17 Fortitude save.

Would save about 500 gp if the scroll of raise dead is still for sale at the price listed on the site but we don't have anyone that can use it without a UMD but maybe Janya would do it.

that rod is cool, wish a crit didn't allow a save, DC17 Fort save isn't hard to make, but you get someone with multiple attacks that becomes a save or suck


You may wish to discuss it more with Skie in the interlude portion, but essentially she's part of the merchant consortium that is angry with the taxes and as such has not been passing the tax on to her customers. She's asked that you keep her confidence, because the flip side is that she's not paying nearly what she should to the city tax collectors.

That said, prices are as listed and the list (plus my additions above and minus your previous purchases) is still good.

Jenya could read a scroll of raise dead without any significant problems.

They'll fail often enough. DC17 is fairly difficult: equivalent to a lev 3 spell from an 18 stat caster (50/50 with a +6 save). And constant strength/con damage/drain (with a touch attack, mind you) will bring someone down quickly.

Nemoris is really interested in the Mithril Plate, besides that I'm good to divvy up the loot!

As far as carrying capacity, I can dump all but 60 arrows and add 18 javelin sized objects and 5 of the spears. If we can get the gear to my horse, we can carry up to 690lbs more, or he can drag ~3000. Personally I could carry another 103lbs prior to getting back to my horse before I was at a heavy load.

For Mountain Plate I'm seeing 3,250g (this may not be the same source as Tike has though), and then another 1300 for the +1 and masterwork. It also appears to need a feat to use it without penalty, so I'm thinking we just sell it.

Level wise, if it still works for you Tike, I think I should stick with the Deepwood Sniper, I just haven't been able to find anything simpler. I'm typing up a reply on the backstory for my training too.

Can also be found by accessing the Campaign Info tab at the top of this page, clicking on Our Shackled City Site link, and then clicking Loot under the Quest Journal on the left side

As far as loading down beyond light ... note that you would've loaded up while still in combat mode since you fled a crumbling structure so no medium/heavy loads for this one unless you were incorporating those load penalties into your tactical movement (i.e. are already at medium load for your normal gear)

3 claims on the mithral plate and 2 on the belt so far. All other claims have been non-conflicting as far as I can tell. You guys work it out or I can roll for you.

Also any real estate available for us to use as a home base? Just thinking about that killer vault needing somewhere to be set up that isn't a hotel.

Also what is the price on that Sphere? I tried to calculate it myself and I just know you didn't drop a 40k item on us so what is it vauled at?

the only thing we left behind in the armory was the 29 shields and 5 shields with the adhesive. for every 3 shortspear nemoris takes we can add 1 shield to bag of holding

so how does loot distribution work?

Everyone who wants something puts their name in the hat and Tike rolls and winner gets it?

What if someone puts in for all items and wins more then one and one person wins none?

What if there are several items worth a truck load, ie mithril plate mail, belt of physical might, potentially that sphere, can someone who can use all 3 win all 3?

Is it put your name in for all items you want, if you win one you have no chance to win anything else that drops?

Could we come up with some sort of a rotation maybe, if the group likes the idea where it's in order, 1st person on the list get's first pick and then moves to the bottom of the list, next guy moves up, etc. If there is nothing you want you pass and stay at the top of the list and so on.

If it's an item that is not contested you don't move down on the list?

I dunno just throwing out ideas.

Thoughts?
