Warehouse Buzz Surprise Round

Init: Razorend, Kovax, Ropefist Strikers, Urgeon, Ridic, Ropefist Brawlers, Garmen Ulreth

As soon as the door opens, Razorend ghosts in and slips behind some crates coming up on the door in the interior wall. Kovax draws his blunderbuss (You didn't mention moving, but you can move as well if you wish) as Ridic moves straight forward, Urgeon following in his shadow.

Everyone that enters the warehouse gets a wicked headache, near immediately. The humming is highly prevalent and extremely disconcerting. (Everyone make a Fort Save DC12 or be sickened. Kovax doesn't need to, as he is already affected)

Map updated, Razorend and Kovax get to act first before the Ropefists on the catwalk. Then Urgeon and Ridic will be able to act before the Ropefists on the ground

The Dice:

Razorend Init roll since he can't read: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

1st move to what looks like a corner... do I see anything there? Still have a 2nd action available.

Stealth: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (13) + 15 = 28

Razorend gets to the corner and spies a couple more Ropefist. One on the ground and one on a catwalk

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

Looks like a missed a save there too...

Are the dogbone looking things ladders up?

Seeing the Ropefist right beside him, Razorend strikes from the shadows.

Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Male Human Mechanist/Savage Technologist Level 7

Kovax will move in and fire at the thug on the cat walk to his left

As a swift action he will use his Knowledge is Power to increase the damage and spend a Grit point to double it

Damage - 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Confirm Crit Touch AC - 1d20 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (8) + 5 + (4) = 17 (He will add in some Inspiration to make sure it connects)
Total Damage - 3d8 + 9 + 6 ⇒ (3, 1, 1) + 9 + 6 = 20

Can't really always wait a week for posts, so pressing on

Warehouse Buzz Round 1

Init: Razorend, Kovax, Ropefist Strikers, Urgeon, Ridic, Ropefist Brawlers, Garmen Ulreth

Razorend detaches from the shadows and cuts at the thug next to him slashing him across the legs and into the groin. The thug collapses in agony.

Across the room Kovax rushes in and takes aim at the Ropefist on the catwalk who spies the man with the gun and ducks down behind the catwalk itself. Kovax adjusts aim and with a deafening crack sends a bullet through the floor of the catwalk and into the eye of the Ropefist, spraying blood and brains .

The 2 on the catwalk move forward and hunker down, firing crossbows and calling out targets to others in the warehouse. Both Kovax and Razorend duck away, the small bolts striking the wall and floor around them.

Urgeon pops out from behind a crate and puts a bolt into the back of the brawler to the south of him, making the man stumble. The thug keeps his feet just long enough to catch a face full of flame from Ridic's burning hands and collapses to his knees screaming in agony as his hair and eyes melt.

The remaining Brawler on the floor comes to his senses and rushes forward yelling out, "Boss, need help quick!" He takes an overhand swing with a knife hand stabbing down at Razorend which the stalker bats away easily with his kukri.

A muffled voice is heard from behind the door, and the party hears the sound of something heavy scraping on something else.

Striker vs Kovax: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13; miss
Striker vs Razorend: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9; miss
Brawler vs Razorend: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9; miss

Kovax, don't forget your -2 sickened penalties from the headache. Wouldn't affect your to hit or crit rolls here, but be sure to include it in the future

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

Sensing trouble incoming, Razorend withdraws towards the south, trying to return to the cover of the shadows.

Kovax will reload with a slug and climb up the ladder nearest to him, I think that is what the gray thing next to him is

Probably. .. Haven't checked since Razorend asked. Will try and get an update out tonight

Warehouse Buzz Round 2

Init: Razorend, Kovax, Ropefist Strikers, Urgeon, Ridic, Ropefist Brawlers, Garmen Ulreth

Yes those are ladders

Razorend and Kovax reposition. The thug next to the android takes a swing as the stalker departs missing badly. The Ropefist on the catwalk also move around, one firing wide at Ridic and the other dropping his crossbow to charge Kovax but stumbles along the way.

Did Razorend not see the guy next to him?

Urgeon fires and misses the crossbowman as Ridic moves to engage the foe Razorend left behind. The door near Urgeon opens out and Garmen Ulreth rushes out spying the wizard and heading toward him feinting before he rams his rapier into Urgeon's side.

The Dice:

Thought it was pretty clear I was withdrawing.

Yeah, it is clear. I guess the stealth threw me off from focusing on that part of the action. No worries. He missed. Just realized I forgot his attack roll vs Ridic

It should. It really should. But honestly, that might crush your action economy, so be careful what you ask for.

Male Android Stalker 7 :: AC 22 (t17, f15) :: 53 hp

Keeping silent, Razorend ascends the ladder like a shadow, creeping up behind the catwalk archer.

Almost certainly a double move, but not sure how tall the ladder is.

Continued ...

Razorend slips over to the ladder and climbs 10 feet up unoticed by the thugs up there.

They continue their assault on the folks below, the first leaping over the edge and moving in to flank Ridic and the other moving in to take a swing at Kovax. Ridic takes a punishing blow from the thug from above allowing the other rogue to get in a cheap shot that has a painful effet. (note save below)

Urgeon sprays Garmen with colors but the man grunts and squints through it. Ridic takes a swing (if he's still standing) and misses, the pain of his injuries getting severe.

Garmen steps in to continue his assault feinting left and stabbing right, but this time Urgeon is wise to the feint and doesn't fall for it, but still catches a piece of the blade in his leg.

The Dice:

Striker Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14

Fort Save
1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Ridic will attack the new guy that joined the fight, and take a five foot step back between the crate and the wall

Attack
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10
Damage
2d4 + 4 ⇒ (2, 3) + 4 = 9

Note Razorend will kill the man attacking Kovax for Kovax's potential action. Razorend, I also forgot that I need a perception check from you for the previous round. Info only, shouldn't affect your actions you;ve posted

Ridic, with a movement rate of 5 feet or less, you cant take a "5 foot step". You could move 5 feet, but you would provoke attacks of opportunity from both your assailants. Note the movement rate impact is only for 1 round ... forgot to add that

Round 4

Urgeon takes a 5' step back while calling out to the others, "I could use some help here!"

He then drops his crossbow, draws his wand of grease and attempts to grease the handle of Garmen's rapier.

M Human (Kellid) Blight Druid, S16, D10, C14, I10, W19, CH10, HP59, AC17, Init 1, Perception +14 Level 7 Druid

hmmm. I misread that post, I thought my movement was reduced by 5', not to 5'.

Can I change my action? I would not have attacked if I had read that correctly, simply because he can not take another 2 hits.

If so, he will use the wand of healing on himself. Do I need to make a roll when using it in melee?

Yes you can change your action. Using a wand does NOT provoke. No roll required.

Based on our conversation I think I have an open shot at Garmen, so...

Kovax will line up Garmen in his sights and fire a slug aiming for center mass, using Knowledge is Power to increase the damage and spend a Grit point to double it

Razorend :
Leaned up against that crate, you realized that the crate itself was vibrating and the buzz was more intense right there. The source of the issue seems to be centered right there

I failed to follow my own rule and missed the grease save so Garmen will fail that

Razorend sneaks up and takes down the remaining thug on the catwalk as Kovax whirls and blows a chunk out of Garmens shoulder eliciting a cry of anger.

Warehouse Buzz Round 4 continued

Init: Razorend, Kovax, Ropefist Strikers, Urgeon, Ridic, Ropefist Brawlers, Garmen Ulreth

The striker attacks Ridic looking for a sweet spot, but the druid is able to anticipate it as he reaches for his wand and heals himself. (Note a Caster Level 1 wand is only 1d8+1)

Urgeon steps back again and whips out a wand coating Garmen's rapier in grease and causing the gambling boss to fumble his blade end over end. With a roar of anger, he leaps over the blade and comes at Urgeon feinting, kicking and punching. The wizard steps back under the assault, but is able to avoid anything connecting.

The other thug takes a hesitant swing at Ridic distracted by his boss's cry of rage.

The Dice:

Striker vs Ridic: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 2 = 11; miss
Garmen Feint vs Urgeon: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Urgeon Sense Motive: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Garmen Flurry 1 vs Urgeon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Garmen Flurry 2 vs Urgeon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Brawler vs Ridic: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10

Easy round! Actions for Round 5

Male Human Mechanist/Savage Technologist Level 7

Does Garmen have soft cover now? Or does the part about the wizard stepping back mean that Urgeon disengaged?

I will fire at him but will change up my action if he has cover maybe

To Hit Touch AC - 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Damage - 1d8 ⇒ 2

No soft cover, but engaged in melee so there is is a penalty ... but that applies to all 4.

Ok, my action will stand, attempt to shoot Garmen

Kovax spends a few hours with Khonnir but realizes fairly quickly that this item is far beyond both of their capabilities. Khonnir has immense knowledge of several pieces of it, and Kovax finds that by making Khonnir explain things to him that he's delaying Khonnir's work on identifying what appears to be an artifact of some sort.

In frustration, come midnight, Kovax heads to bed.

It will be 0900 since you guys are purchasing stuff.

We can assume that you reenter and I will allow Kovax to retcon bullet purchases if he wants since you're not waiting a week for him to craft blanches.

Need Ridics spells (unless the Hero Lab file is accurate?)

Everyone make a Perception roll indicating you are ready to proceed. Standard marching order assumed. Also, where exactly did you wish to return to? You had a few options.

Quick break from diving and free Wifi. Going to assume Take 10 on the others Perception rolls. Ridic's will be good enough for everyone

You head out at 0900 after some quick shopping, determined to complete your task and find the purple haired android, Meyanda.

You head through the caves past the skulk territory after checking in with them (they also have a few things for sale, but given your discount up top, I assumed you werent stopping) and reenter the glaucite tunnels.

You traverse through the first few and as you get ready to step back in to the round desert rock area, Ridic holds out an arm and stops everyone pointing to a spot in the sand about 50 feet north of the door. After a closer look you see a poorly buried four armed skeleton, however it's nowhere near where you destroyed them.

Come to think of it, none of the bones are gathered in the area where you fought the skeleton horde.

"Look there's another", Urgeon hisses pointing out to the northeast maybe 100 feet.

No map access in Fiji, sorry!
