DM: I just realized that the helmet gives a +2 versus crit confirmations, not +1 as I'd thought. If I'd remembered that at the time, the bow crit wouldn't have confirmed... but I didn't, thinking it was only +1. How would you like to handle this?

That just about sums up the Sandpoint Festival and the goblin attack. Feel free to RP more if you'd like but all that's left at this point is clean up and tending to the injured/dead. I'll put up a post summarizing the rest of the night's activities either tonight or tomorrow some time.

On that note... in trying to decide on my first rage power, I've narrowed it down to a few possibilities, one of which is Knockback. However, I think it needs a couple of DM rulings. Namely...
1) If I took that, would I be able to use it with the reach afforded me by my longaxe?
2) Would I be using my longaxe for the maneuver (for purposes of counting bonuses, etc.)?

actually contemplating a level or two dip into vanilla bard. I don't know of a certainty, but we seen to be somewhat lacking on arcane/knowledge fronts & we seem well supplied with front-line martialists. A little more caster/face focus might be in order.Thoughts/opinions?

Might be a good idea, I could see the character going either way really and you've certainly got the charisma to make Bard work well enough.
Doran's going full Inquisitor, with maybe a Fighter dip somewhere down the line to help with some of the feats + BAB needed for archery stuff. But yeah, nothing out there.
And in the realm of going Bard, I can see it being useful, but Doran will actually be pretty adept at all the face stuff due to the Conversion Inquisition letting him use his Wisdom for Bluff/Diplomacy/Intimidate. Having someone who's good at Knowledge skills would definitely be helpful, though.
Discoveries. Infusion? Precise Bomb? Smoke Bomb?
Might I take the Chirurgeon archetype even though we're already near to 2nd? It drops poison use, which I'm not keen on.

Ensu could also go bard fairly easily and may pick up a level or two at some point, though probably not immediately. He does a decent job with the more common knowledges, though having others to back him up never hurts.
Eli does Arcana, Local and Nature quite well.
