Filbert hustles upstairs returning with one of the bolts the ballista uses. Wedging it in place to secure the door from being forced open. "if we are to use the ballista on them we should get started.

Agrippa can do it...I mean he takes some massive penalties and his BAB is mega low.

Agrippa sighs and gets behind the Ballista, he aims and fires at the incoming mass of zombies!

The Zombie guards have AC 19.

The heroes work together to aim and loose a bolt, the unwieldy mechanism fires with a loud SNAP-CRACK! Agrippa's aim wasn't bad, but unfortunately the yard long bolt missed the lead zombie by scant inches.

Utterly unfazed the lead zombie literally throws itself up the slippery wall and like a fox among the chickens slavers over Luxina, it's fetid breath rolling over her! The next zombie also tries to clamber up but it lacks purchase and slides down. The final zombie tries to smash it's long sword past Lizzie's guard but she's far too quick.

With a zombie well in reach Momijii took a pair of quick swings at it. She didn't intend to let the undead thing become a problem for her companion and she was going to back that determination up with her fists.

Fortunately for you lot that was a cut & paste mistake ;)
So focused was she on defense, Lizzie didn't even have time to bash the undead as they rushed the walls! However when one fell she thought she had a shot, but the thing was fast! It lurched well out of the way of her mace.

Confronted with an undead abomination in front of her face, Momijii responds with a resounding punch which surely must have cracked several ribs, yet it evades her follow up...

Filbert takes aim at the same one and blasts a crater into it's sternum, showering Lizzie below in gore. Gruesomely the Zombie doesn't even falter, instead it keeps menacing Luxina!

Luxina's club further smashes the already ruined chest of the zombie, but horrifically it keeps on coming. Surely it cant take much more of this abuse?

The glooping horror below moves closer... Suddenly it reaches out with it's primordial mind and it twists Momijii's perception right around, causing her to be confused and disorentated!

Despite having a gaping hole in it's chest, the Zombie doesn't let up for an instant and it apparently still retains it's martial skills from life. Ignoring the damage caused by Luxina's club it thrusts, the point of it's sword piercing her gut!

Filbert continues to attack Blue before it can stab Luxina again. The first attack worked but didn't take the creature out of the fight. Adjusting the type of damage the blast does.

Nearly 24 hours, I'll bot Momijii & Luxina.
Lizzie's mace connects solidly with the Zombie in front of her, but it doesn't seem to notice or care that it's clavicle is broken. Calling on the gods for help, she cures some of the damage she'd taken.

Confused!: 1d100 ⇒ 25 <--- LUCKY

Feeling rather disorientated but knowing the Zombie is on it's last legs, Momijii gives it the the old 1-2 knockout sucker punch. Her knee smashed into it's abdomen like a pile driver and then pushing through with her hips, her fist caves it's skull in. It sinks to the floor never to rise again.

This of course causes both Filbert and Heinrich to miss, fortunately however Luxina is out of immediate danger. She takes full advantage of this by tossing a bomb onto the crawling puddle of doom below!
NB Agrippa you'd have had a +1 to hit there due to being higher, not that it would have helped with such a dice roll though :(

No she is on the battlements. Everyone else climbed up a balista tower which is about 15' above her.

Momijii, free of the confusion, and relieved that she didn't hurt her friends, quickly moved to the edge of the tower and jumped. As she landed she brought her fists down in a new maneuver, the dragon crush technique, on the zombie between her and Lizzie. Unfortunately she was a little unsteady as she fell and it threw her aim off enough that she wasn't sure she was going to connect.

Heheh, so NOW you want to barricade yourself inside :p

I imagine the oil is the more dangerous of your three opponents, however posted Filbert attacking the zombie as that seemed what he would focus on first, after seeing the damage the one above was able to absorb.

I pitted a group of 7th lvl tomb raiders vs just the ooze. Nope at soloing at current lvl.

Looks like I have to bot Luxina again :(

As blows rattle her armor and shield, Lizzie concentrates on defending, and gets ready to let Momijii out of the door. However Momijii had other plans, with her head clearing up, she gracefully jumps down to the battlements instead. She aims a kick at the northern zombie guard, but it proves to have uncanny reflexes and dodges aside!

Filbert scurries past the ballista and sends an almighty blast careening into the southern zombie guard, scything off it's left arm! It doesn't seem to notice as it rains blows down on Lizzie!

Heinrich deftly throws a flask of strong alkali onto the acidic Ooze. A violent reaction occurs causing it to bubble and turn milky. Pseudopods thrash around in pain and anger! A single drop splashes on Lizzie's neck and starts to burn as it turns her skin to soap.

Luxina throws another bomb, and at this range she can hardly miss! The bomb explodes with a loud retort and black soot stains the white frothing waters!

Well, he's run a 1/2 marathon last Sunday, and i heard he's still feeling the after effects. [Fatigued condition]
Other than that, i haven't heard of anything that would delay him.

Lizzie focus once more on soaking up all the blows but it didn't quite work out that way. The zombies decided she was too tough a nut to crack and decide to hunt easier prey.

Filbert tries to blast the southern zombie once more, it looked so close to falling apart but he misjudged it's movement and missed by a yard.

Momijii also found the zombie's hard to hit. Preternaturally fast, the zombie dodged her left fist, but it ran almost straight into her right fist which hit with a sickening thud, shattering it's left shoulder!

Luxina mixes up yet another batch of unstable chemicals and lobs it at the ooze, blasting bits off it!

Heinrich throws another flask of alkali right into the center of the ooze, but it doesn't seem to do much apart from splattering Lizzie painfully.

The zombies suddenly put on a burst of seed, making a dash for the wall and clamber up. They try to then skewer Luxina and Heinrich but they both manage to dodge the haphazard swings.

As the zombie tried to pull away and climb Momijii lashed out at it with her burning fist.

Her fist lashed out with devastating force and landed squarely in the zombies retreating back as it started to move away.

She heard Lizzie's statement and was about to comply when Momijii ran into a problem. She caught sight of swirling colors in the ooze and found herself confused by the psychotropic effects of the flashing colors.

She would never be able to explain why she did it later but Momijii swung her fist up in an uppercut right into her own chin.

With a cry of pain she snapped out of her confusion but was too stunned by what she just did to do anything further.

I figure while I technically have nothing in my hand to hurt myself with I could only use my fist, and since the flaming property can't be turned off, and they are effectively +1 weapons, I needed to apply those damage modifiers as well.

In a spray of gore, Lizzie's morningstar ends the zombie that tried to attack Filbert. She then tries to invoke the wrath of the gods on the disgusting Ooze, but although her aim was true nothing much happened when she struck it. Well apart from splattering acidic jelly everywhere, which causes her weapon to vigorously smoke and pit!

Reflex DC 20: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 <--- OOPS
Acid damage to Lizzie's weapon: 1d6 ⇒ 6

Rules stuff:
A morningstar is a one-handed hafted weapon, so that's hardness 5, hp 5. So your weapon takes 1 point of damage. If your weapon gets to half hp (rounded down) it will gain the broken condition.

"A wooden or metal weapon that strikes an id-ooze takes 1d6 acid damage unless the weapon’s wielder succeeds on a DC 20 Reflex save."

Sorry Lizzie, it's just an Ooze and it's also neutral :( On the up side you did hurt it.

Momijii, addled by the Ooze's swirling patterns manages to break her nose.

Filbert tries to blast the remaining Zombie but his aim was just off, and his blast misses by less than an inch. If it noticed, the Zombie didn't show any sign of caring.

Heinrich pulls out Red Destiny and concentrates on fending off attacks from the Zombie guard!

Luxina mixes up her final batch of chemicals and lobs the volatile concoction at the ooze below, which explodes in a shower of gore!
