Petriak Krupt |
At the sounds of the door slamming shut and the sight of the bandits entering the compound Petriak allows himself a second for a smirk before his hands sweep out in several arcane gestures. "Somonombulus Aroquente."
Casting Sleep centered on the lead bandit that Oleg mentioned earlier(Save DC is 15 to resist).
Raxus Half-blood |
Raxus pulls the door shut, steps out into view with his dogs snarling at his sides and says "Drop to the ground and throw your weapons to the side. This will be your only warning."
Ready action to loose the dogs on them of they don't comply.
My net access is limited this weekend. Please feel free to NPC Raxus.
Bydar |
Bydar incants, "Lady of beauty, goddess of love. Shelter and guide us with grace from above."
Casting bless spell, should give our group a morale bonus of +1 to hit and against fear. I'm not sure if you want us to roll init or want to do it for us.
Marketus Jackson |
Marketus steps out and readies an action to cast Burning Disarm on the leader the instant he draws his sword.
Reflax Save for the Leader DC 15 (when he draws his weapon and my action goes off. If he fails the save he takes 1d4 ⇒ 1 fire damage. If he passes he drops the weapon.
Raxus Half-blood |
Raxus calls off his dogs with a grunted word, setting them to stand watch over the fallen bandits.
"Bydar, can you heal these men?" Raxus said with surprising concern for the lives of the thugs.
Bydar |
Bydar does look surprised, but only for a moment How far have I fallen from my goddess' ways if I judge a man simply because of his size and looks? Our giant is kind, and rightly so. Bydar nods, "Yes. Yes I can."
He moves to the two men the dogs downed and makes sure they are close. Then he concentrates, prays softly, and seems to glow.

Petriak Krupt |
"Once we have them all restrained then we can start the information collection. The leader shouldn't be out for a bit longer, that spell usually puts them down for a bit." Petriak walks out from behind the cart with both hands threaded through his belt. Stopping for a moment he survey's the bandits with interest. "We should search them for weapon's and valuables as well. No telling what we can learn from the contents of a man's pockets."
Bydar |
I think that's fair. Bydar might be tempted to give a cut to the couple, but it sounds like Oleg knows how to make a profit from it.
"Their horses might be of use if anyone of us doesn't have one." Bydar strips the leader down to his bare essentials in clothing and then ties the man up, "This fellow was this squad's leader and did not surrender. I suspect he'll be the most trouble."
Raxus Half-blood |
Raxus leaves his dogs to keep the prisoners on their best behavior and moves to take care of the horses, checking their mouths and feet before taking them to the stables.
Petriak Krupt |
Glancing over the pile of items stripped from the bandits Petriak taps his chin with interest. He stops at the sight of one of the silver amulets and picks it up by the chain examining it with interest before putting it into the pocket of his vest. "I'll keep a hand on this till the bandit leader wakes up, looks like some kind of talisman or device."
"If someone wants to bring the leader over here we can wake him up and begin the interrogation as soon as I've had a chance to cast my spell." Petriak points to the now tied leader and waves them over to a spot away from the other bandits where they could talk more privately. "I'm very curious to hear what he has to say for himself."
Petriak Krupt |
"But of course Bridgette." Petriak placed a hand over his heart. "I do not intend to resort to violence unless my hand is forced. It is my hope that a small enchantment and a little charm will help this bandit to see that honest is in his best interest."
Once the bandit leader was in place, and the sleeping charm was just wear off, Petriak stepped forward to cast his spell. With slow languid movements Petriak wove out his spell, the words falling from his mouth in a hypnotic pattern. With one last snap of his wrist Petriak released his spell. "Charmarus Amoretium."
Cast Charm Person DC 17
Raxus Half-blood |
After stabling the horses, Raxus thoroughly cleaned and rewarded his dogs, finding a tree to lounge against while the others learned what they wanted from the bandits. He watched the proceedings for a distance with a mixture of curiosity and confusion, eventually seeming to reach some conclusion in his head that consisted mostly of a shrug.
Petriak Krupt |
"Afternoon neighbor, I'm Petriak. We haven't had a chance to meet but I get the feeling you and I are going to be good friends." Petriak gives the bandit a wide smile as he sits down next to the guard and glances around the yard for a minute. His usual noble air has been replaced by a comfortable slouch and open manner. "Don't worry my friends and I are working on getting those ropes off of you, must be the side effect of some spell. While they are working on it I was hoping you and I could do a little talking."
"What brings you out here to Oleg's on such a beautiful day? Someone send you out this way or on business of your own? We just arrived recently ourselves, bit of a work brought us down this way. I'm sure a local like yourself could tell me all kinds of interesting things." While keeping up the patter with the bandit Petriak removes the silver amulet and lets it drop to the end of its string to sway at the bandits eye level. Petriak glanced at it as though surprised by its sudden appearance."Actually I don't suppose you know what this thing is do you? I can't say I recognize the insignia."
DM Faelax |
"You know Petriak, I actually dont remember why I came to Oleg's, but those other guys could probably tell you. And the amulet? That's the amulet of the Stag Lord, a local bandit leader. Scary man, he can be sometimes. I heard he killed a man at a dinner he threw for not laughing at one of his jokes." The bandit still looks calm and collected as he spills out all he knows.
Petriak Krupt |
"Stag Lord?" Petriak asks with interest as he looks down at the small amulet. "He doesn't sound like a guy with much of a sense of humor. What else can you tell me about him? I'm guessing your associated with him, or work doing jobs for him? Was this one of them?"
DM Faelax |
"There is a woman who runs the bandits, kind of a second in command to the Stag Lord. Kressle is her name if im not mistaken." He points to his pack, Bydar walks over, digs around for a moment, and finds a map of the stolen lands.
Map of the Greenbelt
He starts to point to various locations on the map
"Here come bridges to cross the river on. The Stag Lord resisdes at the fort on the bottom of this map. Thorn River Camp is where Kressle and her cronies reside."
Bydar |
Bydar looks at the map as the man points and glances to the others, "I wonder how defended it all is."
He's pretty sure this fellow knows, or at least has an idea, but isn't sure he himself should press as he isn't the one who charmed him.
Bridgette Etna Asta Valerius |
Petriak Krupt |
"Hmm well he does sound like a charmer doesn't he." Petriak chuckles and nudged the bandit as if they are old friends. "Thanks for those locations on the map that is very useful getting us oriented. So just a few last questions and we can wrap this up. Does the Stag Lord ever get up this far north or does he stay down in his fort? Also tell me more about Kressle and her cronies, are they like your companions here or more experienced? Any of them throw around any magic or special tricks? If this Kressle is the second in charge she must be a tough woman."
