Rocco hustles over to Morricone, drawing the wand as he moves toward the performer. "What are you doing? I just spent a bunch of time patching you guys up, now you got a gaping spear wound in your chest? So rude!" He waves the wand over the injury, allowing the magic to flow from his mind into Morricone's body.

Not sure how high the ladder is so gonna assume it's 20ft but gonna use a double move to get to next to the doorway and use it as cover but stay out of sight.

@Valrani: The Red Gill Taskmaster run inside the building and closed the door behind himself. You can't see him and he's got total cover

@Talon: The rope ladder is 10 feet.

Talon climbs up to the terrace while Rocco heals Morricone and the rest of the Silver Ravens close in on the orphanage.
Suddenly a figure cloaked in what amounts to a rugged, hooded tunic dyed red flies towards the heroes. The ominous figure lands gracefully on the church's railings, stares at the Silver Ravens from under her hood then a voice that is at the same time both feminine and strident speaks:"I see. A bunch of filthy humans with one of their slaves. You dare spy on me and mine, meddle with my affairs, intrude upon my domain and infringe on the sanctity of my nest! Know this: I am Scarplume and I'll be your end"
As she speaks the Silver Ravens can hear footsteps in the distance, seems like a group of red gills has come out of the orphanage and positioned themselves on the church's rooftop near their leader.

Kurglunn enters the orphanage's ground floor. Nothing more than rubble and what once used to be a wooden stair to the upper floor welcomes him. There's no way to climb up from here short of flying or using a grappling hook but the place offers many hiding spots.
Valrani prepares to use her cold magic against the enemy leader but suddenly realizes she's out of range.

Oren climbs up to the balcony while Valrani reaches her friends.

Seeing how most of the invaders are out of reach the mysterious Red Gill leader jumps into the air and takes flight shouting orders to her followers:"Get into position. If any of them tries to come near you shoot him down!"

In a mater of istants the winged creature is hovering above the balcony. The Silver Ravens just have time to notice the metallic gauntlets she's wearing before a massive gout of flame erupts from them towards Talon!

Unable to find any way up to the second floor to help his spiritualist and his friends, Kurglunn rushes across the empty, rubble-filled room and passes through the far wall. Finding himself between the two buildings, apparently with no way up here, either, he continues to move through the next wall as well, finally stopping inside the second building on the ground floor.

Double move. First move gets him across the room in the orphanage. Phase lurch halves my movement, so passing through two walls over the course of two squares should be totally doable. I'll leave it up to you to decide if that's kosher, though.

phasing and moving is ok as far as I'm concerned but is Kurglunn still phased once out? Because the 2 rogues on the roof have readied attacks for anything moving towards the church from their side, so they'll shoot Kurglunn. Also, give me a perception check please

Kurglunn runs forward, phasing through stone and reaching the basement of the dilapidated church of Aroden, Lirotha and Valrani try to retaliate against the flying opponent with pitiful results. Morricone climbs up the ladder...

Im a little confused by the map. Can Oren see any baddies right now? Are there any on the same roof with her now?

Yes, the ground floor of the orphanage is gutted and full of debris, half crumbled walls and the like. It's fair to say you get cover down there. And yes again the drop from the balcony to the ground is 10 feet which implies checks and possibly damage if you jump

Kurglunn wouldn't be "phased" once he gets through the wall, so he would be vulnerable to attacks, but would the rogues really be able to see him down in the alley between the buildings, 10' below? If they were right along the edge of the roof, that would make sense to me, but since they're both 10' from the edge, I would think Kurglunn would probably be pretty well hidden, or at least get some kind of cover bonus.

Talon drinks a potion and stands prone on the balcony. Rocco climbs the ladder. Oren Tries to attack Scarplume with no better results than Valrani and Lirotha before her. Kurglunn advances through the rubble and reaches the chucrch's ground floor. The Red Gills guarding the rope bridge fail to notice the phantom advance due to the roof's angle.

You don't notice anything useful. Maybe you need to look harder

After having easily avoided all the attempts to attack her Scarplume gives an evil laugh:"Pathetic, even by human standards. I thought you were going to give me a challenge but I fear I'd have to content myself with roasting you... PIGS!"
So saying the winged creature flies behind the Silver Ravens and sends another gout of flame at them, this time targetting Oren!

At the same time the 2 red gill rogues on the church's roof reload their light crossbows and shoot again this time aiming for Morricone and Valrani!

Valrani gasps as she is once again injured.

She pulls the water from the ground, as a mist rapidly starts to rise, shielding the Ravens from the Gills. Once covered by the mist, she scoots around the back, joining the other ravens.

He bends down and taps the jittery noble's leg with his wand, sending healing energy into him and mending his burned flesh.

Realizing how precarious their situation is Valrani speaks some words of power and a thick mist starts eveloping the Silver Ravens giving them some protection from ranged attacks.

Glad for the respite Oren cures her burns with a potion, Rocco does the same with Talon, but using his wand. The rest of the group hides within the mist.

To get to the rope bridge you need to enter the building. The roof is mostly intact so you'll be (mostly) protected from ranged attacks once inside.

Meanwhile Kurglunn moves around the ruins of what used to be a church of Aroden. Unfortunately his ghostly senses fail to spot a way to reach the roof of the building.

As the mist spreads and covers her opponents Scarplume still sounds mildly amused as she speaks:"Ah! So you have SOME tricks up your sleeve after all. Maybe killing you won't be as boring as I feared..." she chuckles, flies above the mist and then descends near the concealed silver ravens sending a larger flaming attack towards the fog enshrouded figures...

DM Rulings:
The text of obscuring mist mentions a powerful enough spell burns away the mist. Examples listed, the likes of fireball, flame strike and flame wall, all more powerful than what's being used here so I rule the fog isn't burned away by Scarplume's magic. Also because you have total concealment I think the spell has a miss chance of 50% even if it's not attacking a concealed square. After all judging distances inside a thick fog is difficult. High is good and low is bad by the way

Kurglunn halts his exploration as he begins to feel the strain of his distance from Rocco. The further he moves into the buildings, the weaker the link between them grows, and it is weaker now than they have ever felt before. He moves back toward the wall he had passed through a moment ago, but before turning back to get closer to Rocco again, he takes another look around, trying to find some way up to the roof.

A bolt whizzes over Rocco's ear, and he quickly decides that, even with the mist, it'd be safer for him to be inside, trying to find a way across to delay the thugs over on the other roof. He moves past Valrani and into the building.

[spoiler=If he sees anyone inside the building]Rocco motions toward the pouch hanging from his belt, and a small ball of metal floats out of it and into his waiting palm. The bullet seems to actual float just an inch away from his palm, though, so as he flings his hand forward, the projectile never actually touches his hand, and the bullet shoots toward Rocco's target.
