Varro:

Nice. The guy is within 50 ft. of Varro so he can do a half-charge (only 50 ft of movement instead of 100 ft. Otherwise it works the same as a charge). So I'll go ahead and do his roll now. I'll also roll for that miss chance too.

Izzy's miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 34

Varro Charge!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Varro's AC is now 13 until the start of his next turn.

If you are limited to a standard action, you can charge up to your speed. Varro's action is situational, but legit.

Thanks Veccio. Yeah, my group calls it a half-charge cause it's only half the movement. But it's a situational charge that can only be used when I only have access to a standard action. As a result, I only get access to one movement instead of double movement. SRD rules

Ouch. Yay for rending... Also, shouldn't it's HP be -12 or did my 24 vs. AC miss? I rolled a 34% on the d100 so I should have hit.

Cauight off-guard by the sudden flurry of activity, Veccio watches in horror as the thing tears into Varro. Sure, he may be a big nasty brute of a dog, but surely he didn't deserve that.

Emboldened by Isabella's cry of distress, he draws his rapier and heedlessly charges in. "Why don't you pick on something your own size?!" he yells, his blade flashing in the light from the dog's collar.

Veccio: excellent work with the loot, thanks for your good work!

Abigail goes through the lenghty task of meticolously searching the room every nook and cranny. It takes a long while but in the end she surmises the room has nothing to offer. On the other hand the party notices the torch sconces embedded in the walls, something that could make the room's light much better.

This left the party with a dilemma: explore the rest of the subterranean complex, get back to Laria or brave the waters to check on the corpse they saw earlier?

As she approaches the large room Meliandri notices stacks of unopened crates—some draped in moldering tarps—fill most of the space, creating a maze. Two tables sit in the center, scattered with playing cards and a smoking, unlit lantern. There's not much light but thanks to her elven heritage the young bard is able to make out the figures of a few bird like creatures hiding behind the crates, a bit smaller than the one they had to put down earlier, not as agressive but certainly not friendly either. As Mel approaches one of them, probably the leader, shrieks a warning:"Stop there, trepasser! We don't want any trouble but if you come any closer we won't be held responsible for our actions...".

Suddenly Mel notices how all the creatures are armed with light crossbows trained on her and she realizes that her next move should be very carefully taken.

MAP

Noticing the creature's approach Izzy's the first to react istantly sending a white feathered shaft flying towards the reptile. The arrowhead manages to pierce the monster's scaly armor and stays embedded there!

Undeterred the crocodile advances exploding out of te water and sprinting towards Izzy and Varro, jaws snapping at the corageous hunter woman!

Attack roll: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22 -> Damage roll: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Grab check DC14: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26 -> Death roll: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11

And wrecking terrible damage on her much to the others dismay!

Izzy is at -6hp, stabilization check please. She's also prone but the crocodile has released her so she's not grappled anymore. I posted in 2 pieces so if Eallos wants he can change his previous action. The crocodile has charged so he's at -2 AC for this turn

Eallos lets out a shout, firing his crossbow before quickly reloading,
Attack: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (9) - 3 = 6
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7

Isabella -16 Prone, unconscious, dying

Crocodile -7

Eallos
Varro
Veccio
Abigail
Meliandri

This is quite dangerous for lvl 1 characters, be careful. Also, we are playing with the characters positioned as I see them on the map. Please remember to move them or you'll be considered to stay where you are for the purpose of taking actions (for example, if you are in another room and can't see the fight you can't shoot or cast a spell on it until you reach a place where you can see the fighting and are in range)

CN Female Half-Elf Bard 2 | HP 17/17 | AC 16, T 13, FF 13 | F 3, R 7, W 3 ( +2 vs. Enchantment, +4 vs. Charm/Compulsion+4 vs. Sonic, Language Dependent, and BP effects.) | Init +2 | Per +7 (Low-Light Vision), BP Rounds Used: 11/11

Meliandri begins shouting at the crocodile, filling the air with meaningless shouts against the ruling class of Cheliax even as she stops to think about the fact that crocodiles have nothing to do with the Thrunes.

Starting up inspire, other than that, got nothing.

"Wait for the sparks!!" shouts Abigail as she rushes forward in the hope of coming to Isabella's help. She extends her fingers as her feet slid to a stop, concentrating the eldritch energy surrounding her through subtle motions. Iridescent rays shoot forth and bathe the reptile.

Color Spray, Will DC 15.

MAP

Will save DC15: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21

Abigail showers the reptile with a torrent of disjointed lights and colors but the creature seems not to notice and shrugs the effects of the magic off!

The croc has low AC atm due to charging. He also suffered some nice damage from Izzy's arrow. Also, Eallos may change his previous action if he wants to because I posted the crocodile attack with an edit for the death roll and he posted immediately before I edited, so he might want to change his action to something else (not to attack again, obviously). P.S. You are not far from levelling btw

Round 1 - Bold may post

Eallos -> May change his last turn if he wants

Female Human (Chelaxian) Hunter 2
Izzy:
[HP 13/17] [AC 17; T 15; FF 13] [Fort +4; Ref +7; Will +3][Init +4]
Varro:
[HP 19/19] [AC 15; T 13; FF12] [Fort +5; Ref +5; Will +2]

Seeing his master collaps, he follows the last order given, guard. As such, Varro attacks the beast to guard his master's body.

attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 1 = 5
damage: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 1 = 7

And why not, I'll roll my death saving throw now too. Wish me luck.

Not Today: 1d20 + 1 - 6 ⇒ (5) + 1 - 6 = 0 +con mod, -neg HP

and luck is not on my side. ANOTHER NEGATIVE HIT POINT FOR ME!
