Oh, right. I agree that SB doesn't need to worry about fulfilling any sort of role. Whatever he wants to stat out is fine with me. Although, I would be hugely thankful if you don't make a summoner. Those are hard to keep track of.

Any chance that we can just bring Viroleth back now that we rescued his corpse? It's part of why I stayed to fight. If SB wants to change, I am okay with that, but we have an opportunity to keep the lovable rogue around, right?

The group that I am GMing for also lost a player to Nualia as well, though in my game she was a custom Divine Magus/Fighter gestalt. (Gestalt game, so it wasn't blatantly unfair.)

No offense to Viroleth but... I'd rather have mad cash than that useless lout!

Both Skald and investigator are quite nice. Investigator is a drag to slug through the first four levels but if you start with studied combat it's really strong.

Also I'm currently playing in PFS with a skald who hands out the craziest buffs to weapons (pretty sure that's a specific archetype however). But anything that works with the Bard shell has got to be good (I really love the spell list...).

The Raise Dead spell component costs 5,000 bones, plus an extra 450gp for hiring someone to cast the spell. Pricey, but not impossible to hit. If we sold the bastard sword and armor that's about 1,500 right there.

So, basically, we leave it up to our friendly, neighborhood rogue.

Up to you really. Could use the trapspotting and Disable Device, but if you want to change up from Rogue, its understandable. maybe it's Viroleth's even more plucky brother?

I'm a huge fan of building new characters myself.
That said Viroleth was quite amusing and actually also quite useful.
If you don't want to be responsible for the whole Trap shenanigans I can easily make a few changes to Beromar to make him capable. That would also mean we have less overlap between Alexei and Beromar in skills...

Guys, I'm afraid I've got to make some tough decisions.

With DocEvil retiring from GMing on the boards I've volunteered to pick up one game, and have been asked to pick up another which I may do.

Because of that, I need to withdraw as a player from a couple of games. RoTR is the AP I've done before, and the low posting rate makes this one an obvious choice.

I'm very sorry to do this after all the time spent on resurrecting Viro. You can just got one or two posts back, and have him agree to stay dead.
