Crux drives his horse backward 30' and begins casting a spell that hopefully will magically put the enemies to sleep.

Heedless of the danger, Tina spurs her mount forward drinking her extract that makes her bombs much more effective and accurate.

The orc chief draws forth a long black-feathered arrow and strings his massive darkwood bow, firing a shot at the oncoming alchemist. The yard-long arrow strikes Tina penetrating her chain shirt and wounding her for 4 hp.

Purple Orc Warrior also steps forward getting a clear line of fire at Tina, then loosing a shot that flies wide of the mark.

Marnos can try his luck next, remember you need a Ride DC 20 to control the mount while in combat.

Red Orc takes a bead on Tina who appears to be riding straight for him and fires but he doesn't lead the moving horse enough, and the arrow sails past harmlessly.

Blue Orc rushes forward to get a clear shot and turns to fire at the half-elven bowman rather than the onrushing alchemist. His counter-fire proves greatly effective as his lucky shot penetrates the rib cage of Marnos, damaging him seriously for 13 hp.

Knowing that riding is not his strong suit, Travigan slips from the saddle and makes ready to fight, just as unbidden arcane words slip from his mouth, creating an aura of warding around the surprised blacksmith.

Gold and White orc both fire at the mounted alchemist trying to drive her from the saddle. Tina is able to steer her mount around both the shots, one whizzing by her ear a little too close for comfort.

Crux finishes his sleep-inducing enchantment and grins a bit as a pair of the Orc Warriors all to the ground, dozing. Once the spell fires, the wizard drops from horseback, ready for more fighting.

Punctured with a couple of arrows from the orc longbows, Tina grits her teeth and with careful studied aim tosses a bomb at White Orc. The orc target absorbs the blast, charred but not killed. Tina, exposed in the field of fire, slips from her horse, and stands behind it for cover from the bows of the orcs.

The leader of the orc band draws forth another black-shafted arrow and fires at the horse behind which Tina stands, trying to remove her cover for the rest of his grunts. He barks some order in the harsh orc speech motioning at the small alchemist vehemently. The shot strikes the poor horse dead in the flank, and the beast bolts running for the rear as fast as it can.

Following orders, the Purple Orc throws down his bow and rushes at Tina, now without cover. He equips his double-bladed axe as he moves forward, and makes a tremendous chop at the poor girl. Only the barest sliver keeps Tina from a mortal wound but she escapes unscathed.

Also eschewing his longbow for close in work, Red Orc draws his axe and moves to attack Tina, who still stands exposed and alone. This time the small heroine cannot avoid the falling axe, which splits her under the ribs for 11hp dmg. Another shot like that might have dire consequences for the brave alchemist.

Blue Orc fires an arrow back at the recently healed Marnos, trying to duplicate his lucky shot from before. This time, however, the shot is a bit rushed and flies wide over the head of the inqusitor.

Marnos fires at White Orc, but it whizzes by his arrow harming no one but drawing the ire of the target in the process.

The orc shaman bends down, shaking one of the sleeping orcs awake. Then moving carefully through the battlefield to another.

Angered by the missed bowshot, White Orc turns to Marnos, rushing him with his waraxe raised for serious damage. The axe crashes into the bowman, splitting his shoulder for 8hp dmg.
