Okay a few questions before you start buying up everything in sight.

1) Are you selling all the loot from Barvasi and thugs except the potions of CMW and invisibility? What about the spider venom? It is 150gp/dose, with 5 doses so a sale value of 375gp. You can destroy if you like.

2) I assgined the CMW to Kalvin and the INvisibility to Lazlo. there still is another CMW potion on the Loot Tracker. Who gets it?

3) Of the 1000 gp you were given to bribe Barvasi, you didn't spend any, except the 100 gp given to the reformed thug, right?

4) You didn't take any of the loot from Barvasi's chest in his chamber?

If you can answer all those, I will give you the official amount of gold to spend, and you can divide how you want. The second tab of Loot Tracker shows the official amount of gold per person.

After that, if you want to buy items, let's list and discuss.

1) yes we are selling it all except the two potions.
1b) I think we agree to destroy the venom, unless someone has connections to the underworld

2) lets give the other CMW potion to Lazlo, Marnos and I both have a wand we can use. Potions really are for situations to help the group so its not really wealth.

3) correct we got to keep 900 gp and gave 100 gp to the thug.

4) we did not take anything :(

I have been around and just waiting, you know Graxton is not the best one to be speaking.

the group nets 1043.5gp from selling equipment. That, coupled with the 900 gp in bribe money you saved, and the 500 gp that Field Marshall Kroft just paid you means the party earned 2443.5 gp.

That total broken up 5 ways is 488.7 per player. You will have time in a bit to buy or sell what ever you like with that much loot added to your purses.


Okay 278.4 gp + 488.7 gp + 1.9 gp = 769 gp.

Decisions, decisions...

Masterwork rapier will cost me 320 gp, so that will leave me with 449 gp.

Masterwork thieves tools will cost me a 100 gp, so that brings me down to 349 gp.

I'll also get four caltrops which will cost me 4 gp in total, 345 gp left.

Two smoke sticks, that's 40 gp and I am left with 305 gp.

Anything else I should get?


Lazlo, you should be able to sell back your mundance rapier and thieves' tools at 50% purchase price. This should give you back 35 gp more.

You also missed distribution of coins from the Cow Hammer boys and guards of 40 gp per player.

By my count you should have 380 gp left..

I am not doing math right now, please update the total Graxton has after the wand.

Things to add to his equipment: wrist sheath, 3 wands 10 charges each, bless, enlarge person and CLW.

I've got a question Doc, when would it be fair to assume that two days and eight hours have passed? Should I wait a few more posts? Or can I start posting with the assumption that they have passed and that Lazlo has fully recovered?


You can assume that Lazlo has recovered. I have a post that covers the down time, but you can imagine it to be a week or more.

I don't see how you can use a wand, shield and weapon all at the same time. You'll have to make choices about which 2 of the 3 to use at a given time.

I believe it is possible to hold a wand in your shield hand, so that you do not have to spend time finding it (someone should be able to confirm that, it might be only with a buckler), but as Doc says, you can't use them all at the same time.

I was hoping to have a wand or two to be in a sheathe above the hand holding the shield, then free action to drop weapon, move action to draw wand from sheath either on leg or behind shield as he moves forward, then activate wand ( standard action). I guess it doesn't need to be swift but would allow me another move action as needed in a round if I wasn't moving.

Or would you think it better to have a bandolier with two wands over my chest behind the shield, as the CLW wand is in my wrist sheathe?

Set this up how you want. Wrist sheathe would allow you to pop out wand as a move action. And still cast in the same round.


I am hoping my demoralize attempt is enough to make the mob leader shaken, a -2 on attack rolls, saving throws and skill checks should be really helpful especially with the grease under his feet.

CLW wand is in my wrist sheathe.

I have a bandolier with spots for wands over my chest behind the shield. Subtract 3 sp for the bandolier? What other wands do I have?

Did the enlarge wand go to me? It was paid for out of group loot right?

Club with a weapon cord, subtract 1 sp.

Nothing was decided about communal wands; I've paid for mine out of my own pocket, but would be happy to be reimbursed if it is agreed. Currently I have it in my backpack; didn't realise you had it as a domain spell or else I probably wouldn't have bothered getting it (plenty of other wands I could have got...Silent Imageing a pit would have been useful now).

On another note,I am going on holiday on 19th July to 29th July. If necessary, feel free to DMPC Marnos (try not to get him killed, I rather like him, lol). It's unlikely that I will be able to get online while I away.


The group never decided to buy any wands, even though it was suggested. Graxton has two wands of CLW now, one with 7 charges left, and the new one with 10.
