"Never have I been so grateful to be an archer," Omaz says, backing away only a little Wanting to stay within 30 feet for the point blank bonus before firing.

to hit with Longbow: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
dmg if that hits: 1d8 ⇒ 2

Edit; was going to edit because I forgot the Point Blank feat bonusto dmg and attack, but I'm thinking with rolls like that, it probably didn't help :o

The combination of Asanna's and Omaz's attacks seem to manage to slay the mold, as it stops trying to move toward them. Alem does not seem to know what it is from his quick look does not tell him what the mold is however.

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

"I suppose that works as well..." Alem shakes his head, shrugging off his slight annoyance at having been completely ignored. He approaches the apparently dead mold, prodding it with his staff. "Whatever it is, it is very interesting. I would like to take a sample of it for further study." Looking around the room, he asks everyone, "Do any flasks remain unbroken?"

Male

"I am not sure," Omaz says, now looking about for a flask to help Alem.

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Asanna holds her hand over her mouth as she goes over by the mold pile and tries to retrieve what is left of her fired arrow, "This is really, really disgusting. You sure you want to take any of it with you, Alem? You might wake up tonight and have it growing all over your body." The tiefling lets out a deep shudder at the thought that even travels down to the tip of her tail. She finishs retrieving at least the arrow head of her shaft before standing up and wiping the tip of metal furiously against an edge of one of the tables in the room.

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

Alem grins fiendishly. "That would be exciting, would it not?" He frowns as though suddenly saddened. "But I fear it may not be so. It will require some tests and study, but I do not think that this mold is active any longer. I will have to check my books." He crouches down to get closer to the mold, prodding it with his dagger. "Omaz, have you found a flask yet?"

Male

"No, the only one I found was broken." Unless the DM says otherwise, I'm assuming my perception check wasn't good enough for that. "I could empty out my waterskin and hand it to you if you like?"

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

"Oh, no, no, no! That is quite unnecessary, my friend!" The wizard begins rummaging around in his robes, searching for something. "I believe I have something... Yes! This will do," he says, pulling out a piece of paper. With his dagger, he cuts a sample of mold and scoops it onto the paper. Folding the edges around it, he makes a packet that he seals with wax and a spell (Prestidigitation used to melt the wax to seal the packet). He stands up with a broad grin on his face, clearly pleased with the acquisition. "I wonder what other strange treasures this lab holds?"

Omaz does indeed not find any flasks all having been broken by the mold as it came out the group. The mold feels odd as Alem cuts into it putting it in to the paper, feeling almost as if he was cutting into flesh of some sort. The room is not quiet after the attack but there is more of the area to be seen.

HP 19 || AC 17, T 14, FF 13 || F +1, R +7, W +2 || Init +4, Per +4

Asanna plucks another arrow from her quiver as she starts around the north end of the room, creeping quietly as she can. She whispers back to the others, "There could be more nasties down here so let's try and be silent in our approach."

Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (9) + 8 = 17
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Male

"Just be wary handling that stuff, Alem. I do not know much about it, but I have seen plants that can give one a nasty rash," Omaz says before starting to follow Asanna's lead as he too grows silent.

Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

The group heads forward as sneak about. The hallway goes on some before they reach a door that seems stuck when they attempt to open it. After a little work however they manage to open the door. When it opens the duo can see that it leads to even deeper in which has no light.

Male

"We'll need a light source, obviously. It may alert others we're coming, but going in blind would be worse."

HP 19 || AC 17, T 14, FF 13 || F +1, R +7, W +2 || Init +4, Per +4

Asanna flashs Omaz a mischievous, little grin as she shakes her head, "Only some of us need a light source to see in the dark. Give me thirty seconds to scout ahead before we announce our presence with a bright tourch. I'll signal if all is clear." The tiefling winks at Omaz and slips into the shrouding darkness beyond the doorway. She silently slips into the long hall, her vision going into black and white in the pitch black. She scans first one way then the other as she keeps an arrow in her bow, ready for the first sign of danger.

Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (12) + 8 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Male

Omaz returns the smile as she vanishes, "Quite a woman, I will give her that."

Asanna moves forward slowly looking about as he went forward looking for anything that could attack her or the group. As she looks about she sees, The monastery’s undercrypt is a series of ten-foot-wide rough-hewn passages dug in a double-cross formation. The main thoroughfare runs north to south, with two similar eastwest passages crossing the main hall about fifty feet apart. An eerie silence pervades the cool subterranean funerary network, which must contain the bodies of scores—if not hundreds—of honored worshipers of Sarenrae in shallow niches carved into the walls of the east-west passages. Many of these skeletal remains have been roughly tossed from their niches, and countless bones and skulls line the floor.

Please tell me which side areas you are looking through first.

Male

"This is...disturbing, if I may state the obvious," Omaz moves forward quietly as he may, and then peeks around the first turn at the right.

Moving forward three squares it looks like.

Stealth: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

HP 19 || AC 17, T 14, FF 13 || F +1, R +7, W +2 || Init +4, Per +4

I'll look on the right side first.

The two move forward quietly attempting to not alert any enemies if there was indeed any. There are more bones that litter the floor not seeming to have been touched in years, if the thick layer of dust on them was to be believed. Finally they spot a larger pile of bones. Buried under a jumble of bones at the end of this passage is a small teak box emblazoned with the holy symbol of Sarenrae. The box contains a wooden holy symbol of Sarenrae suspended from a silver chain and an odd brooch.

Male

"Well, we must risk things sometime." Omaz states and moves towards the box

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

Alem stays behind to continue investigating the lab.

Omaz can open the box with ease finding the above items within with ouch much trouble. The box looks worn as one can tell from being left in this area for as long as these bones were.

Alem staying at the lab sees some notes and a few things that might be useful later as well some useful things if he search them much more thoroughly.

Male

"That seemed easy enough," He says , almost surprised. While he treats the symbol with great respect. He also looks at the odd broach, "This has a story, I'm sure."

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

Is than an indication that I should roll Perception, or that I should take time to study my findings in detail later on?

Male

Your call. Mostly I am just trying to keep the game going and don't want the DM thinking I've fallen off the face of the earth :)

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

Sorry, I was actually asking the DM based on his most recent post. Should have been clearer.

You can roll perception or you can take 20 aka search in detail up to you.

HP 19 || AC 17, T 14, FF 13 || F +1, R +7, W +2 || Init +4, Per +4

Asanna nods at Omaz's words as he retrieves the bauble from the chest, "Perhaps a little too easy. Usually the nastest stuff lurks in the lowest, darkest depths of ruins. I'm waiting for the giant, red-eyed beast that wants to eat our livers and slurp on our eyeballs to jump out and give me a heart attack." She starts stalking back toward the opposite way to check out the mirrored passage on the other side of the hallway.

Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Stealth: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

Asanna moves about slowly not seeing much of anything but for more bones at first look. After some times she happens on some bottles that are gripped by some of the skeletons. After looking more closely after finding these bottles she happens to find a tabarzin(great axe). It looks very well made with runes that cover the haft and blade. When she picks the weapon up the runes start to glow softly.

Male Wizard (Conjurer) 4 (HP 24/24) | AC: 10 | T: 10 | FF: 10 | CMB +2 | CMD: 12 | Fort: +2 | Ref: +1 | Wil: +5 | Init: +0 | Craft(alchemy) +10 | Diplomacy: +10 | Kn(Arcana/Planes): +12 | Kn(Dng/Geog/Hstry/Ntr/Rlgn): +9 | Kn(Local) +6 | Linguistics: +10 | Perception: +4 | Sense Motive: +3 | Spellcraft: +12 |

I'll take 20 on Search.

Alem looks about the area making sure not to miss a thing since the laboratory was very old and may hold some sercets to those that seek them. To that end he finds a sheaf of paperwork on the eastern table flanking the basalt block contains several alchemical formulae of great value to an alchemist.

Alem:

These include instructions covering the construction of restorative
ointment and marvelous pigments, making the papers worth up to 300 gp to the right buyer.
