What is the DC to the first island? Is it 15feet with a DC of 15 or DC30 from where Nuveril and Grall are?

My bad sorry.

First island is a DC 10 with a running jump.

Grall would like to move to B11,

Lets hope I have to stay put :)

Grall easily makes the leap to the first island, coming in hard at the salamander with his falchion. But his foe responds with a brutal attack of its own, its long serpentile tail lashing out at the gnoll as he closes. It has 10' reach with the tail unfortunately!

Grall is hit hard in the legs, Linah's spell protecting him from the heat of the attack if not its force. The cunning creature tries to loop its tail around the barbarian's legs but the gnoll is able to dance away and launch his own blow which the salamander takes on its spear.

The fire snake attacking Zeladiel doesn't seem smart enough to take advantage of the flanking opportunity presented by Khalid's move and it continues with its assault on the elf. Its attacks continue to be clumsy however and between his agility and magical armour the wizard manages to again keep it at bay.

The second snake diverts its attention from Sajan to Khalid, darting in under the inquisitor's guard and sinking its teeth into his left shin. Fiery agony courses up the inquisitor's leg and he struggles to hold on to Tempest as his body threatens to seize up. Fort save as before

The flamebrother attacking Sajan is unable to defend itself adequately against the sheer speed and force of the monk's attacks. The monk knocks the creature's spear aside and lands blow after blow to the salamander's face and upper body, the elemental damage particularly potent. The creature is tough though, its protective scales thick and hard and its rage fuelling its endurance.

It stubbornly goes back on to the offensive, launching a sweeping strike with its spear aimed at Sajan's legs, powered by a surge of strength. The monk is too quick however, reading the move and hoping over the spear as it passes.

Knockdown vs Sajan 1d20 + 12 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 12 + 4 = 20 (strength surge) fail!

The salamander hisses in frustration, alternating stabs and thrusts of its tail but to no avail. Sajan seems untouchable, answering each attack with just the right block or evasion.

Khalid sweeps Tempest through the snake's neck killing it instantly. The remaining serpent keeps coming, looking for another taste of the inquisitor's blood.

With some space to move, Zeladiel quickly nocks and looses an arrow at the serpent, a glancing hit to its side.

The salamander fighting Grall swivels its head to watch Nuveril dart into cover before turning its attention back to the gnoll. It slashes with its spear but the attack is merely a faint, its tail whipping in to clout the barbarian in the face and wrap tightly around his left arm. Grappled!

Leaning in close, Grall rips at the snake with his teeth. The attack doesn't seem to damage the hard scales around his neck but does distract the creature and Grall is able to wrench the tail away and break free. The barbarian disengages moving toward Nuveril.

No -4 on the break grapple. It will get another AOO as you retreat. Shall we treat the acrobatics check to avoid that? It cuts your movement in half but the AOO is fairly brutal and the jump check easy for you. I'll move on and ret-con as necessary.

She was hoping to climb down. That's what the guidance is for. Although now that you mention it, it would be alot better if she used her own rope to get down. I'll scratch the guidance, and replace it with a rope retrieving action.

Annoying. I posted earlier and thought it went through but not showing up now.

Nuveril delays, hammer and madu in hand.

Meanwhile, while Linah retrieves her rope, Khalids fire bolt takes the remaining fire snake neatly in the head. The divine fire seems to burn even more brightly as the normally fire immune serpent is immolated in the nearly white flame. It falls, most of its lower jaw seared away.

Zeladiel activates his boots and, walking on the wall, moves down past Linah about half way down the chute, opening up line of sight to the majority of the cavern below and the battle there.

I'm not sure what square that puts me in (i.e. what square represents the bottom of the chute.

Dan, isn't this a DC 5 check since you should be able to brace against the wall going down the rope...

Linah ties the rope the impulse before. I'm fine with Khalid grabbing it and climbing down the rest of the way on a DC 5. F-7 is effectively the bottom. You can move past Zeladiel.
