You've rebelled against your master, Cardinal Adrastus Thorn. Can you kill him before he kills you? Who will lead the forces of Asmodeus in their final assault on the noble kingdom of Talingarde?
thx, its a mixed bag sold my house for top dollar then had to pay top dollar for a new one so I didn't really gain anything on the whole thing other than very stressed :)
We considered looking for a new apartment and moving (moved last year but the current landlord isn't that wonderful). However, juggling moving, interviewing for jobs, finding a new job, having a kid and both of us starting up masters programs didn't seem like a good idea.
Congrats on selling your home, buying a new one is the easy part, unless you are looking for something specific, in which case it usually does not exist in your price range and location.
Sorry for the radio silence, gents. Three client-facing presentations in four days here. Should get more up over the weekend.
(Also, as you know I started a second campaign, and in retrospect the timing on that may not have been ideal. Still thinking about how to deal with that.)

As a lurker here, and player in the other, can I suggest a split schedule? Something like S-T-Th for WotR and M-W-F for WotW? Saturdays optional/both?
DMDM, if it is an issue, pretty sure that I can put down all the petty Mitrans in your other campaign, without even breaking a sweat. I doubt they would taste good though, as weak as they are.
Saturday was an all-night flight, home Sunday morning.
Sunday was "Daddy's home!"
Monday was the first normal-ish day, but still suffering from that all-nighter, plus continued "Daddy's home!"
Today was a work day (there's a 100+ page report to be finalized and edited), plus had to unload and stack a cord of wood, because we live in the countryside here in Germany.
TLDR: the last couple of weeks have been busy and distracting, and have jolted me out of my DMing groove. And, fair cop, I've been giving the new kids more of my limited time and attention.
Okay, I'm having a difficult time getting traction here. I keep starting to post, and then... Part of it is the new kids, no question. I may just not have the mental bandwidth for two PBP campaigns at once. But I'm reluctant to acknowledge that (if only because then I'd have to choose between the Shiny New and the Beloved Old.)
So here's what I'm thinking: maybe I should just take some time off and see if that recharges the batteries. It's April 2 now. So here's the deal: I will start posting again on or around May 1. If that gives a good outcome, great. If not, then I'll have to make the call.
(Why May 1, particularly? Well part of it is that I'll be moving to a new country and a new job this month. By the beginning of May I should be settled in, though. Fingers crossed.)
So: what do you guys think? Can we all remember that and be back here in four weeks? Or is it too long, and do you think you'll lose interest?

I am moving this weekend and then on vacation all next week. I am fine with May 1 as I will be really busy as well trying to get settled into the new house.
Works for me. I have had a lot on my plate as well and if it means the difference between continuing in a half hearted manner, and recharging so that your old creativity shines through, I would definitely go with the latter.

A surprisingly entertaining job as a probation officer. Working on my Masters in geographic information sciences at the moment, hoping to career shift into geospatial analysis.
Okay. Sorry for the delay -- my internet access is not everything it should be. (Free at the office, but I have to live on a gig a month otherwise. Which is not actually that much!)
Still squeaking along on the gig a month. That's not really enough to do much. (Oh, how times change. I'm old enough to remember dialup modems.) I do have broadband access at the office, but I mildly dislike doing campaign stuff at the office.
Going to go back and see if I can get a better plan. More anon...
Okay, guys. It's with deep regret that I have to say that this isn't working.
The big issue is that I don't have enough bandwidth. I get a gig a month outside the office, fixed. That sounds like a lot, but it's not really. (Also, it's not terribly reliable. The internet here goes on and off a lot.) A secondary issue is that I'm still settling into a new job and am pretty crunched for time. Back in February -- when I had both time and bandwidth to burn -- I started a second PBP campaign. In retrospect, that was a mistake. Now I'm able to support *maybe, at most* one campaign. Something has to give.
I won't say this is the absolute-for-certain end. But I don't see things changing in the near future (i.e. the next few months). So at this point I'm placing the campaign on indefinite hiatus.
Not a lot more to say, except thanks to all of you guys for playing. It's been a great campaign, with a lot of cool scenes and good memories. If our paths ever cross in RL, I'll be happy to buy you a beer.
It was a great game! If you ever start up another one, or feel like joining as a player in one, I'd love to play with you again. If you're ever in St. Louis, send me a message!
Likewise. I had a great time with the Judge and if you are every looking for someone in a new game let me know. Also, if you are at a con in the northeast/New England, then give me a shout.
