Yeah, no kidding, yikes!
My posting will be sporadic at best for the next week or so. I'm being deployed to respond to a 250,000-gallon molasses spill in Honolulu Harbor, and it may take a bit to sort it out.
The do the protocols for dealing with molasses spills involve making large quantities of delicious confections?
perhaps a vast quantity of pancakes?

It pains me to say this, truly, but I am going to have to bring this campaign to an end.
Unfortunately / Fortunately, I've gotten something of a promotion, and the time I usually spent dedicated to this and other PBP endeavors has vanished.
I want to thank you all for your patience as I've unfolded this adventure. I have some intention of maybe trying to publish it in the near future and you've all been instrumental in bringing a cool idea I had once into being.
Hopefully if/when I find myself back in this excellent PBP community we can roll together again.

Well, it's not a great surprise, the way things had slowed down. And to be honest, I'm looking to cut back on some of my PbP commitments, so it's not all bad to have it ending.
That said - it was fun and interesting and I enjoyed playing with you all.
I found the slow pace rather relaxing even if we did not make too much progress these last couple of days. It has been fun.
So it has. ^^
I will miss the banter.
