I'll be out of town this weekend for an SF convention, heading out tomorrow morning, and even though the hotel has decent internet I'm not sure how much time I'll have to post. If necessary, DMPC me.
Just a quick note: I will not be able to post tomorrow until very late. We have a family trip to Hershey Park (mid-state) for my daughter's school picnic. [She's cyber-schooled and that's the most convenient place for the school to include everyone.] Today should be fine, though.

Sounds good to me, too. I noticed when I run PbP that it's hard, sometimes, not to assume that silence gives assent, especially when I really want to keep things moving.
Sorry for the lack of contact, had some real life issues that have kept me out of gaming for a long time. Just back now, I haven't yet read the game thread but no worries if Aleksandr has been written out.
Yup, sorry, wound up having to head up North to go to my cousin's funeral and then change job roles on the day I came back. Hopefully things are now on an even keel!!
So I'm caught up. What kind of monetary resources do we have at hand? I suspect that while Aleksandr was away he would have picked up some supplies against the undead, if he could.
nothing really, but the equipment you found in the crypt, and father grimburrow has given the party holy water as well.
youa re not locked into the dungeon, so feel free to leave when you find stuff to sell if you need more equipment.
Aleksandr, please insert yourself in to the scene. we will proceed into the prison once you are back iwth the group.
Aleksandr:
let us say that Aleksandr, on his way out of town, once again ran in to Adivion Adrissant, whom had been enountered mourning at the professor's grave. The man convinced you that he would deliver a message to Tamrivena in your stead, and bid you to return and assist your friends at Harrowstone.
ic you need any other info just ask me in spoilers in the game thread

Just in time for things to really get rolling, I'm going out on the road through Sunday, so posting will be intermittent. Phones kind of suck for that sort of thing :-(. DMPC me as needed, DM Corvus.
I have three medical appointments tomorrow: PT for my sprained tendons, explaining to the dietician why I've lost so little weight, and then getting my regular physical. So, no posting until late, most likely, as the VA doesn't have WiFi for my Fire.
Good, though it looks like I'm going to be taking PT every Tuesday until I get over this.
I feel really stupid, too. I have minor hammertoe, a condition that can be cured or at least have it's progression halted by wearing arch supports. I was told not to wear them for more than 2-3 hours at a time. What no one mentioned is that my feet might have different rates of reaction to the arches. I sprained/strained the tendons in my right leg, and my right leg only. Now I have to take therapy to restore the tendons before I can wear the arches again.
At least the VA is covering the PT since they issued the arch supports. We're just hpong the problem is resolved before next moth whenwe were planing on a trip to Orlando for the Halloween shows. Theme parks are no fun if you're limping through them.

I notice that the rogue and inquisitor have been kind of quiet of late--think they ran afoul of the Dreaded Disappearing Dot and are waiting for someone else to say something?

Have you tried PMing them? You probably know this already, but if you don't post to a game or discussion thread for about a week (I think), the dot disappears and new posts aren't flagged. If they don't know that, they might think the campaign died. (OTOH, neither of them have posted anything under any of their aliases for over a month, and that's not good.)
Just a heads-up: My family and I (me, hubby, daughter [who's now 19!)] are going on a vacation trip this week. We're leaving Tuesday and will be back late Sunday.
We're taking a lap-top so I should be able to post at least once a day except Tuesday.
Itinerary:
Tuesday - drive to Orlando
Wednesday- if need be finish drive, then alternate Universal/Islands Of Adventure
Thursday - alternate Universal/Islands Of Adventure, night time for the haunted stuff
Friday - drive to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, park stuff & haunted stuff
Saturday - drive to King's Dominion, park stuff and haunted stuff
Sunday - drive home, collapse
I'm not abandoning anything, but I may not be real coherent
To save time, DM Corvus, you have permission to NPC me during any fights.
i too will be away this week, starting on thursday and ending next wednesday. ill try and push things ahead until i leave, but we'll have to pause from thursday until i get back.

I was thinking about what you should do if you don't hear back from Nostrus and osuracnaes, and it seems like there are a couple of options. First, write them out and continue as is. Between Peredur, Iesha, and Talia, we've got pretty-much all the bases covered except maybe dedicated sneaky person--we've got a primary melee (Peredur), skill monkey (Peredur), face (Iesha), divine caster/healer (Iesha), and arcane caster/secondary healer (Talia). What we lack is depth. We're kind of fragile.
OTOH, having that coverage makes the second option (recruit a couple of replacements) considerably less restrictive. There are no must-haves here. I mean, another fighter-type would be nice, but apart from that we're in good shape. If you decide to go with the second option, maybe post the recruitment before you leave and look at what comes in when you get back.
