I got the update. the site seems normal on my end now.
So it's been a month since the last update. Is this game dead?
No. I haven't heard form any one else since that last post.

I've been wondering too. Glad it isn't dead.
My plan was to have two ranged people on the knoll and the rest down in the thick of it.

Just in time for the fight to start, I'm off on vacation for a week. I'll be able to post still, but not as reliably. GM, please feel free to NPC me. At this point im pretty sure you are familiar with darian's tactics and combat routine.
As a reminder, Darian can Charge through occupied squares.

Darian, the woods are near the 60' high cliff. The 80' high cliffs are opposite you, next to the knoll, with the waterfall and a cave opening.

What are those structures ahead of us? One looks like a large cart maybe? Not sure about the other.
We might want to blindfold and gag snotgobble. Once he sees us about to slaughter his pals, he might decide not to keep his mouth shut.

Sorry, I didn't realize. I said I was going to move in and attack wherever it seemed like they were gathered the thickest. I want Tera and I to be able to stay next to a wall so we can't be surrounded.
I'm not sure which spot on the map fits those criteria. Please place me wherever is most appropriate.

An AoO question I haven't considered before:
If a mounted creature closes on a character with Combat Reflexes, do both the rider and the mount provoke AoO's?
Basically, should Darian get an attack against the Worg also?
Yes, that would stand to reason. You have so many AoO attacks, and can use them where you want.
I've heard Cleave is a trap build, but I'm not seeing it. I really love playing Darian. Feels like playing tabletop Dynasty Warriors.
Cleave is a trap build if the GM doesn't give you some cleaves.
I could always make sure that all combatants aren't close to each other.
And wait until you have multiple attacks. Cleave takes your full action, so when you get hasted and have 3 attacks, it is hard to justify cleaving two guys.
BTW, the Hobgoblins are classed creatures, and so have HP and Feats. Be careful!

And speaking of reminders, did you check to see if you could hear Emyralda's song over the noise of the falls? That's another +1 to hit and damage!
You said the bardsong only carried 30' because of the noise from the falls. Sadly, I'm a little too far away. As soon as I get a lane open, I'll be heading that way.
Feel free to make my AoOs for me if it will speed things up. They're always at the same bonus my last set of attacks were at.
I almost never use Cleaving Finish after an AoO because I've usually already used it during my main set of attacks, so you shouldn't have to worry about that.
No, I said you had to make a DC 10 Perception Check to hear the song over the noise of the falls.
You are within range to get the benefit if you make the perception check.
The difficulty will go up if you go deeper into the villages; I'll tell you if you have to make another check if you decide to go deeper into the villages.

Soth-Loren took the archetype Mendevian Priest.
Mendevian Priest (Cleric Archetype)
People of high and low character flock to Mendev for glory, plunder, or the desire to slay demons from the Worldwound. Crusade-minded clerics of Iomedae, Gorum, and other churches come to Mendev, learn battlefield tactics and the weaknesses of demons, and strike out to make a name for themselves. A Mendevian priest has the following class features.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Mendevian priest is proficient with all simple weapons, light armor, medium armor, heavy armor, shields (except tower shields), and the favored weapon of her deity.
Diminished Spellcasting: A Mendevian priest chooses only one domain from her deity’s list of domains rather than the normal two domains. In all other respects, this works like and replaces the standard cleric domain ability.
Demonic Knowledge (Ex): At 1st level, when making Knowledge (planes) checks regarding demons, demonic cults, and their magic, a Mendevian priest gains a bonus on the check equal to half her class level (minimum +1) and can make these Knowledge skill checks untrained.
Teamwork Feat: At 4th level and 8th level, the Mendevian priest gains a bonus feat. This must be a teamwork feat, Alignment Channel, Greater Spell Penetration, Leadership, or Spell Penetration. The cleric must meet the prerequisites of the selected bonus feat.
I think it would probably be alright to re-work the character to suit your play style as long as the general themes were kept the same. Soth's been gone a long time.

If my vote matters, I'd love to have a full party again and not have to worry about trying to write a character out of the story.
In other news, my home computer is in the shop and my work computer just decided to say screw you to google docs (the version of firefox is too old to be compatible anymore), so for at least the rest of this week, I'm going to be unable to access the map. I remember it well enough to have a general idea of what's going on, but I might need some help making sure I'm where I need to be to make the most of my attacks.
I believe I am done with Felix (redux) and ready to let the arrows fly.

This game has slowdowns sometimes.
Work has been a problem lately, and since I can't access my maps from here, it does cause me a problem, since Darian can't see them right now either.

I can see the maps from my home computer, but not from my work computer (which is where I do most of my posting during the week)
The work computer is getting an overhaul soon, so it shouldn't be an issue for much longer.
