Senja can't imagine what good he's going to do with a dagger, but he slips the weapon awkwardly out of its sheath at Kali's request. His attention, however, is mostly on getting away from the nasty little quickling, so he also takes a step around the speedy little fey, continuing his mad laughter as he moves.

Senja is glad to see the naga drop, and decides more electricity is called for. He's fed up with the little speedster, and concerned it will alert its allies somewhere else in the spire, and somehow Senja just doesn't find the situation funny any more. He stops his mad laughter and darts through the door, the fingers of his right hand forked and swirling in a small circle as he moves. Just before the quickling reaches the door, Senja points at it, sending a blast of electricity at the nasty fey!

Move action, then cast lightning bolt! Been waiting to get the baddies into position for that spell forever.

Lightning Bolt!: 6d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 6, 4, 4, 5) = 23 DC 19 Reflex save, which it will probably make and avoid all damage.

OK, the quickling missed its only chance to get away, so you can dispatch it at your leisure. And that will be it for the level, unless you really want to go back and take out the salamander now--otherwise I'll rule that you do so after you're rested. It's a CR 6 monster, so if you're at full daily resources it wouldn't be able to survive. Please make your day job checks, pick hexes, and I'll get the chronicle sheets out in the next few days. We have apparently lost Nuria; I have a replacement offer for when we get to the 9th level, but that would leave you at 4 for the 8th. Honestly, looking at how this has been going I think you can manage it. Thoughts?

Not yet; I got the map together, and was going to wait & do the intro when everyone was ready, on account of the description throwing you directly into dice-rolling territory.

The stairs from the shrine of Kro'akoth wind downwards only forty or so feet in a tightening curve before opening out into a small chamber, lit by a glowing glassy sphere affixed to the ceiling. Across the chamber, another staircase winds down into darkness. Off on one side is a calm pool of murky water with a pedestal in its center. On the top of the pedestal is a miniature city (oops, wrong module) a golden serpent idol with a green gem held in its fangs.

Everyone give me a Will save, please.
