Truth be told, I think it's time I called it quits. For one reason or another, I'm just not feeling a connection to the campaign, and a busy real life makes it all too easy to put off making a post for a bit too long. Apologies to all, and have fun with the campaign.

Hey guys. I'm extremely sorry that I haven't posted in forever. I wound up in a car crash about a week ago and a half a go and I've been knocked out or without access a to computer the whole time. I have a broken leg and a lot of cuts from broken glass but I'm on a lot of painkillers at the moment. The doctor's say I should be fine in a few weeks but a friend dropped off my laptop so I can be connected again. Which is great because I have been going crazy when I have been awake. :) Anyway, I'll catch up on all the posts (goodness 34 of them!) and try and make one of my own as a catch up post after lunch.

Hope you guys have had fun while I was gone, and I'm sorry to see you go Simn.

I just wanted to say thanks for accepting me and all the welcomes.

Also Sabrina is my first time exploring a female character so we're going to grow up together so to speak. It's my plan for the childish persona to die down pretty quick once she starts adapting to people and I start adapting to role playing a girl.

Another busy few days at work, although the all-day workshop yesterday was very good.

I'll be out of town this weekend for an SF convention, heading out tomorrow morning, and even though the hotel has decent internet I'm not sure how much time I'll have. I'll try to get a post up before I leave.

In regards to watch order, Sabrina will naturally want to team up with Beatrix for watch since that's who she has an instant bond with.

Although she would also be comfortable with Jacyn since she enjoyed her time with him while learning to ride.

For strategic reasons if another partner makes more since thats good to as it would be a great rp opportunity for her to bond with another party member. She would just have to be talked into it.

Jacyn doesn't really care who he watches with, though he would prefer the 'last shift', as his Low-Light Vision would help the most shortly before dawn.

How about Adam and Katya first, Havrin and Bea second, and Jacyn and Sabrina last? That way each of the spell casters get uninterrupted rest either before or after their watches.

She only has 3 skill points a level so if she hits level 10 and has 10 ranks in gambling but 0 in relgion, Adam's the reason why.

Sorry for the lack of post. Been on some meds and talking with my doctors about starting muscle therapy to speed up the healing process. Been keeping me busy. I'll try and get something posted tonight.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Katya took a level in Oracle just to prove me wrong. I imagine having the gods choose her as an Oracle would infuriate her to no end.

I was thinking of doing something along those lines. The child of a god, giving Katya some boon of some sort would be great irony. But, Sabrina is asleep and I don't have anything on her that would work at the moment.

Went camping with my wife's family over the weekend. Fun, but still really hot out.

Fun! I spent yesterday hiking up in the rocky mountains...which was really dumb because it was rainy and thunderstorms all day. Something about getting caught above treeline when the thunder starts is truly soul-rending terrifying. Kicked my butt - I'm absolutely beat today but at least still alive ;)

Where'd you go camping? Seems like a miserable time to be outside for any length of time. Incidentally, my wife and daughter are going down to Carbondale and Edwardsville the end of this week to check out the two SIU campuses--that's your neck of the woods, isn't it?

We were about 30 miles North of Poplar Bluff, MO, in Sam A. Baker State Park, about 3 hours from home.

Yea, Carbondale is where my PFS group plays, at a store called Castle Perilous. It's about a 2 minute drive from campus.
