shunned by locals for years as a place of shadowy menace, bad luck,
and haunts. No one travels the road to the Misgivings today.
Lord Foxglove made attempts to rebuild and reclaim the place, but found few willing to work in the region due to its ill history.

if you're a lvl 2 bard, how are you casting cure moderate? should be cure light, in which case your roll was correct. If you're actually a lvl 4 bard which would fit with the whole gestalt thing, then you CAN cast cure mod and it would be 2d8+4

Rafael turns and runs toward the sounds of the other battle... (spending a ki point for +20 ft of movement, gives me a move rate of 50, can run 200' or double move for 100' if run is not an option, if we're 110 yds from the other battle, that will put me in strike range for next round I think).

"That was intense. A pirate attack! Who'd have thought? I wonder if they were in league with the goblins in some way - maybe affiliated with some kind of deal with them to hit the town while they are already reeling from the goblin incursion? Or perhaps it was just Sandpoint's bad luck... Whatever it was, maybe we should head to the docks and see about their ship... That would be a sweet piece of booty for anyone lucky enough to take it from them. And if not, maybe we can at least encourage them to be on their way."


Sheriff Hemlock reached up and grabbed Midori's cloak.
"Wait..." He gasped out, still semiconscious.
"Don't bother with... the ones rampaging through town.
"Our militia... will take care of them.
"Get to the docks... stop the ships coming... to reinforce the ones already here.
"If they see the docks... in enemy hands... they won't land... they are from other crimelords... they only like... easy prey.
"Burn the docks... if you can't secure them!
"Go! Go!"
He said before falling back unconscious.

"Like the sheriff says... to the docks! secure them and keep more ships from coming in!" He heads toward the docks without waiting for the others, sure that they will be right along with him. move rate 40, running for 160 when he can, double moving for 80 when he can't run


Anyone able to climb up to a rooftop is able to see...

STRATEGIC OVERVIEW

The arrows pointing to docks Alpha, Beta and Charlie mark your victory conditions. They are the only ones with a deep enough draught to take the incoming ships. Either capture or destroy them to fend off the pirates and secure victory!

"I could use some healing. They slipped through my massive new armor and hide."

After the scare at the docks.

"I am headed to the middle dock, so I can move easier to the two outer docks. Those with missile weapons can come with me and fire at the two other docks with flanking fire if needed. Let us make the fight decisive and stay massed where possible."

Brin heads out to the docks after any healing. On the way this time, he triggers his force shield and vigor, and if his magic wears out, he enlarges himself psionically with expand.
+4 AC from shield and 30 temp hp from vigor expending 7 PPs before arriving and 32/51hp after fight


"As you wish, Sheriff. Let us make haste."

Sim will switch into running hunters stance for a burst of speed and move quickly towards the docks.

Midori sighs, looking around for a guard still standing. "I'm sorry I don't know your name, but I need you to take over here. Sheriff hemlock should be stable, get him into the Rusty Dragon until we can get more healing for him."

With that, she'll cast her second Cure Moderate Wounds on herself and head toward the docks. She'll follow Brin and look for a point to snipe the pirates with her crossbow.

Sime stops, realizing no one has healed the big man yet. Come on, I'll do what I can along the way.

He removes his wand of cure light wounds, casting each round as a standard action, and making a move action to get closer.

Thundering down the boardwalk, you encounter the intersection where the first dock you need to secure branches out into the bay. A platoon of the pirates is here getting ready to receive the next ship. Seeing you coming, they drop everything and get ready to fight.

I am presuming the pillars to be 1-3 feet wide and slippery from water. As that would be a DC 7 to cross which I am using to land on, so I need not make a check.

Korbin takes a running start as he begins casting his spell. He focuses his inner energies, his beard drops to the floor, and he leaps. Pushing up with a single beard arm, Korbin launches into the air, landing on a single pylon beside enemy pirates.

He grins widely at the pirates, smacking his hand down to the pillar he stands on. His hand coated in a thick, white substance, he launches it out over the pirates, enveloping them and connection to the opposite pillar.
