The tiger's teeth ill suited for robot fighting do little.

"Alright here goes nothin!"
Flynn lets fly with the strange crossbow at the medical bot.
The launcher BLOOPS and bucks in Flynn’s hand. A fast moving rocket hissed out in a wobbling flight until it hit the medical bot and burst in a brilliant blue white glare, throwing intense light throughout the room and corridor.
Fort save DC12 or Dazzled.
"Its putting out the fire! This is harming it right?" It certainly adds to the fire, not putting it out. It is definitely harming the bot.
As you watch, it stopped spinning, vibrated sharply, then collapsed limply to the deck. The flares keep burning though.

Celest Slysword______
Celest wheels and ducks around to the robot's flank to strike at it while it is distracted.

Agonizing over choices, Cheshire dashed back to the door to the Medical Lab and hit the door opener with a keycard. After a pause it whooshed open vertically.

Doctor Rhaym stepped forward, ready to heal if needed, but makes no offensive action.

Variel cautiously fires another shot from his shortbow, but missed.

(npc)Lilly______
Lilly slams a dagger into the thing grappling her; you see a spark or two but no other effect.

The flying bot attacked the grappled Lilly twice and backhanded Fuzzles.

At this point, you hear a gigantic WHOOOSH! Suddenly the Sick Bay is covered in a three foot mound of foam. You can see the flares flickering a dull red, but the glare and heat are gone.
Sick Bay is now Difficult Terrain.

Ducking through the opening door, Cheshire grabs a leg armature close to the entranceway, then ran back out to where the party was gathered again.
Fuzzles jumped up out of the foam and onto a bed.

But the flying bot deftly dodged the flung bedroll, and it fell into the foam.

Cheshire looks about and at the metal in his hand. Seeing the mess on the floor he eclaims, "I leave for just a sec . . ."

He rushes forward and climbs up into the bed next to Fuzzles.

Between the foam and the climbing my guess is that is all I get this round.

Fuzzles again tries to aid Lilly.

So I'm a bit confused. One droid stopped moving, and the other one is flying. How high? Which droid is down?


R1 is down. I marked it in black with a white outline because the flares are still burning, glowing dully through the suppressant foam.
R2 is flying about the six foot level. The foam is covering everything to about the four foot level.

Flynn’s spear was well thrown and struck the ‘bot squarely; but he could only look on as the spear bounced away, unable to penetrate the armor.

Fuzzles scrambling attacks distracted the ‘bot’s attention away from Lily for a moment.

She readies an action.

Variel fired another shot from his shortbow, but the arrow glanced away from the ‘bot’s armor.

Lily tried to escape the ‘bot’s grip, but failed.

ENEMIES________________
The flying ‘bot aimed an underslung rod at Lily, which then glowed red briefly before emitting an earsplitting shriek. Lilly flinched, then sagged in the bot’s arms, unconscious.
The ‘bot’s arms opened up, and Lily fell into the foam and disappeared.
It whirled around and tried to bat Fuzzles away.
Arm Attack vs Fuzzles: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 but Fuzzles ducked out of the way.

Move action activate Martial flexibility to get Catch Off Guard hoping this helps if not then we can talk about a better feat if necessary. My guess is this is a maneuver? If the Catch Off Guard does apply I won't have the -4 for improvised equipment.

"Yes, I think you're right."
He popped a catalyst into a red bottle and lobbed it carefully on top of the bot.
Bomb toss vs Touch AC: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 22 for 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9 fire damage. Exempting Celest, Fuzzles, Lily and Cheshire's positions.


Round 5________________________

Cheshire calls out to Fuzzles "Get em." attempts to wedge the rod in the blades of the construct.
Fuzzles distracted the thing just enough to allow Cheshire to jam the detatched limb into a lift fan (even then the thing was quick enough to almost dodge!), the fan exploded and the bot spun down to crash into the foam and the floor beneath.

Celest Slysword______
Celest attempts to leap to the chair then to the ground beside mechanical menace. Double move.
Celest easily bounced off the chair to land next to the grounded bot, waist deep in the foam.

Flynn quickdraws his short bow and takes a shot.
He hit, but didn’t have enough force to punch through the armor.

Variel fired another shot from his shortbow, doing minor damage.

Doctor Rhaym______
He popped a catalyst into a red bottle and lobbed it carefully on top of the bot.
He dropped the bomb directly on top of the bot. It exploded, sending fire and sparks everywhere in ten feet around it except for the party members.

ENEMIES__________________
The bot spun wildly, firing it’s massive underslung beam weapon. It hit Variel and he collapsed without a sound. Then something inside it burst, it’s lights went out and it collapsed unmoving.


The battle is over.


Both Lily and Variel have fallen into a comatose state and cannot be awoken, though they seem otherwise to have sustained little damage.

A search of the desks against the north wall uncovers several interesting technological devices (which will require some time to identify), as well as the personal equipment of a Wizard—

The muffled screams for help coming from inside the stasis pod are from none other than Khonnir Baine! You can see him pounding the inside of the transparent casing. Unfortunately, it seems locked somehow.

Cheshire heads to the pod. First looking for a card lock. Then tries to find a trigger.

Cheshire spots that the pod is locked with a card reader. None of the brown or black cards your team has seem to work.
Studying the seals and bolts holding the pod together, you think you have a chance to use Disable Device to open it without a card.

Celest is calling dibs on an acid, and a potion of cure light wounds. As far as the rest goes--in order--she would like: 1) the amulet, 2) the backpack, (if she got the back pack she could take the cold weather gear), 3) the torch, and 4) the dagger to add to her collection.

"Okay, but now you can never say I can't find your chingus!"


Celest:
The stuff you pick up off the north desks, at least the stuff you can recognize, all have the stylized "KB" engraving on them.

Cheshire:
Amongst the equipment you recognize, the "KB" standing for Khonnir Bane, you see a number of technological devices.
Most are nonfunctional, but you notice seven that might be still workable with some study.

Between Celest and Flynn, the pod cracks open releasing a puff of white vapor. Then it opens smoothly and out spills the naked body of Master Khonnir Bane!
There is something wrong with him though. He seems to be unable to walk; many small incision have been inflicted on his legs. His grip seems strong enough, but vastly clumsy and tremor filled.
He clearly recognizes you as friends, as he stops screaming for help, but he struggles to control his face, and can barely speak one word at a time.

"Thank... You..." Is all he can speak.

"Something is badly wrong with him. Nothing I have is healing him, and the same thing is affecting Lily and Variel!"


Basically, they cannot be healed here. You would have to haul them back to town to get that done.
As an alternative, you can identify the other transparisteel containers here as stasis tubes. You could stick them in and they wouldn't die while you went off to do other stuff.

Cheshire nods, "Hopefully they can stay safe in these."

Cheshire looks over the fallen constructs for any interesting bits.

Valuable salvage, any ray weapons, or weapons that are skymetals would be huge.

Now that we shot off 2 the shells from our launcher are there any tell tale differences that might help us identify if the third is another flare or fire extinguisher or something different.


The case had three of the little thermos/tube launcher things. You've fired two of them; chances are good the last one is the same kind. It's got all the same markings after all.

The bots are basically trash, though you can take the parts back to the lab back in town for salvage or possible raw materials for other things. Along with Knonnir Bane's equipment, you find six interesting tech devices/unknown equipment that you feel certain you can use if they are identified/fixed up.

"All right; I can agree with putting them in these 'Stasis Tube' things. But they won't get any better in them. We need to get them back into town at the earliest opportunity."
