Game Master Beckett

Shrouded in thick fog, the shifting Gloomspires north of the Shackles have long frustrated explorers. However, a recent discovery by the Pathfinder Society has revealed a brief opportunity to navigate the columns safely and search for the lost treasure of the legendary pirate Sevenfingers. The only problem is that the Pathfinders are not the only visitors to the Gloomspires.

Two things I like to do near the wrap up of a game is to firstly ask everyone to double check and repost their Chronicle Sheet/Reporting Info, (I've seen mistakes happen caught the second time), and also to ask for criticism, both good and bad.

What did you think of how I ran the game? What did you think of the scenario? How can I improve? What sorts of things did you think worked really well, or really poorly?

Did you have any questions about why something happened, now that the game is <almost> over?

the above is all correct... except the day job should be +9, not +8, but going to a 20 won't change the actual result of the roll, so it just doesn't matter. (shoulda taken 10, then he would have had a 21 (he has a trait that makes taking 10 on his profession roll makes it a 12, sigh... oh well.. coulda shoulda woulda)

I thought you ran the game fine.. I'm sorry I wasn't a bit more engaged, but the holidays ran me ragged with offline obligations and I didn't have as much time to devote to pbp as I would have liked.

I really appreciated that you put a link to the map in your status line... that really helped a lot.

It's hard to comment about the scenario unless you've read through it to, but from what I've played I think you always provided us with adequate information to always be able to make informed or good post. I appreciate not aimlessly playing out combat if it's not a game changer as well.

Thanks for running this game for us DM Beckett. I appreciate you doing so and also thanks to my fellow Pathfinders as well for a fun game. Re: Labyrinth - Wish I could...but I've already played it, and I would say it's one of my favorites. If you liked Hall of the Flesh Eaters, I'd say part 2 is better. So hope you all enjoy it!

I've GM part 2, and not played it, but like Carrick's sentiments it's definitely a really good scenario! It's my favourite to GM right now. I would love to join but don't have any character at the moment to join at tier 3-7.

a 3rd lvl character on Flaxseed thread was looking for this module, so I referred him to you, DMB... so if he contacts you out of the blue, that's why. Looks like if we are going to play this, we'll need more players anyway since not everyone of our group can play it.

There is obviously a connection, but there is no special Boon for completing #2 with the same Character. However, I should point out that Part 3 IS on the way out right now, so I can't say if it will require parts 1 and 2 on the same character.

I don't think we played it at tier 4-5 though, so even if the party's APL is more than 2, consciously we played it as a tier 1-2 scenario hence we still receive tier 1-2 gold if we play it as a level 1-2.

I'm confused. The copy I have shows you having Out of Tier GP. We played the 1-2 Subtier, and your character was level 3, right?
