Karish looks into the room hoping that somewhere near the control panel will see a glass of water or some liquid that could be shed on the control panel.

Since he did not see any fluids he could shed on control panel, Karish began to think to go with Gidget if it is still posible?


Gidget and Karish heard back into the gala room to take over the bomb search. Radaszam acknowledges the change of plan and calls back his agents.

Each round, Gidget and Karish can make a Perception check to find a bomb. Once they do, they can either make Engineering checks to disarm it or attack it with kinetic damage to destroy it without detonating it. If the PCs in the AV booth keep Triloteya distracted, she won't notice them.

Triloteya scowls at the three of you, your less than smooth attempts at diplomacy putting her on edge. "Look, I'm very busy back here getting ready for Luwazi's big speech. I think you'd all better leave. Isn't that right, friend?"

The last word seems to be enhanced with magic, as Kultainen finds her perspective beginning to cloud...

Kultainen must make a DC 14 Will save or be affected by charm person. She gets a +2 bonus because it is a mind-affecting spell.

Gidget and Karish can make another check to try to find explosives.

Gidget zips around at breakneck pace, rolling under tables and leaping up and pulling herself into hard to reach spots, looking for explosives.

Gidget manages to find one of the bombs. She works swiftly, dismantling the device and cutting the wires to the primer, preventing it from being able to explode.

Three bombs left. Gidget and Karish get a +2 bonus on Perception checks to find the remaining ones.

Despite his trembling hands, Karish manages to safely disarm the bomb he found too. There are only two more to disarm.

We will wait for Kultainen to attempt her save and the three in the AV booth to determine their actions before moving on.

It's a charm, not a suggestion, Kultainen. So while you still regard Triloteya as a friend, you're not forced to take any specific actions.

Triloteya smiles a bit as Kultainen starts to leave, but then Luanna yells at her and the smile turns into a scowl. "I've a task to complete, and you are getting in my way. If you won't leave, I'll have to deal with you more harshly."

She reaches into a pouch on her belt and draws forth a static arc pistol!

Meanwhile, Gidget and Karish find the remaining two explosives. Gidget swiftly disarms hers, but Karish seems to be having some trouble. The device beeps angrily, but then suddenly goes silent. The technomancer spots Ykris on the bomb's other side, where it has just dismantled the firing pin. The insectile creature waves its numerous legs at Karish before crawling back towards its half-elf host, who gives the lashunta a knowing smile.

Luanna, with your previous Perception check, you noticed a control panel that controls the hologram and window between the AV booth and the main room. You can use it to open the window and allow passage, line of sight, and line of effect between the two, which would allow Gidget and Karish to join the fight faster.

As Huckle Jim delays, Triloteya moves towards the southern console, making as if she's going to push a button there. But then she suddenly whirls and shoots at Luanna, catching the mystic off-guard! The electric blast causes the lashunta's muscles to spasm painfully, leaving her badly wounded!

Luanna grits her teeth and uses another instance of psychokinetic hand to flip the switch that opens the control room to the stage. Then she draws her sword and prepares for battle. Her heart races. This is the first time she is using a weapon in a real fight.

"Would someone please shoot her!!" Luanna yells. "I can't take another shock like that."


The hologram shimmers and fades as the window separating the AV booth from the stage slides open. The assembled guests at the gala gasp in surprise as they see a fight underway!

"Alright, now this what I'm talking about!" Zo! says excitedly. "Dinner and a show! Kick some ass, Starfinders!"

Huckle bashes Triloteya with his baton, and she grunts. She cries out again as Gidget fires a laser into her side!

As Kultainen inspires Luanna to shake off her injury, Karish fires a trio of magic missiles that burn into the would-be assasin's back!

Grimacing in pain, Triloteya feints at Jim and then leaps through the open window, running across the stage and dropping down behind it. She aims her pistol at Jim, but her aim is thrown off and the blast whizzes past the soldier!

She grabs at her neck and pulls out a dart that somehow found its way there!

You notice Iteration-177 subtly slipping a needler pistol back into their coat.

Due to her uncanny mobility exploit, Triloteya doesn't provoke an attack of opportunity from Jim when she moves away. Everybody can take their actions for the next round.

Luanna moves to the control panels, dropping her sword as it becomes unnecessary for defense.

"Stop her!" Luanna yells, pointing at the curly-haired fugitive. "She's an assassin who planned to blow up our First Seeker!"

Having worked so well last time, Gidget again takes aim and fires. She will then give chase.

Luanna moves up and tries to daze Triloteya, but she manages to resist the psychic attack. She ducks behind the stage to dodge Gidget's laser blast, but Karish's shot burns into her shoulder. As Kultainen runs into the main ballroom, the assassin looks to flee once more.

Jim leaps out k to the stage as he draws his gun, plugging Triloteya with a bullet. Badly wounded, the woman pushes her way through the crowd of surprised guests. She stops to grab a serum and drink its contents.

Assuming I can get to her and still act, I will do the following:

Gidget moves over to Triloteya and tries to grapple her.

Melee Attack vs. KAC+8: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

If I can move and shoot without getting into melee with her, I will do that instead.

Otherwise I will just double move after her.

Luanna judges it would be irresponsible to fire her pistol at Triloteya so she leaps the control panel and runs as fast as she can, sword in hand. I gotta work out more, she thinks as she starts to pant from the exertion.

I am working from an iPad so I can't move my figure. Let me know if I need to make any rolls or roll any athletics or acrobatics checks (she has +0 for both) for her. I think I can get almost to her.


As everybody gives chase, the crowd clears out to give you room. The Obsidian Spiders raise their weapons, but Radaszam holds up his hand to halt them, not wanting to let them steal your spotlight. Luanna closes to melee range with Triloteya as Gidget and Karish blast her with their laser guns. She is badly wounded now. Kultainen fires a shot too, but it goes wide.

Huckle Jim is up before Triloteya acts again.
