Most of my games are kind of slow these days. I guess it have something to do with hurricane sandy plus the end of school year. Hope everybody is alright.
Hmm, I am kind of at lost now. I would love some ideias from my fellow adventures. What should I ask the thing next about removing the curse from this island? Its probably going to be the last answer we will got.
the thing we talking to seems to be a sentient swarm of carrion beetles. I can't find anything on it. i'm about to light it on fire and go from there. coz it speaks so cryptic its puzzling.
I checked his DM posts, and he is still working on his thesis. If he isn't back by the time you get to the cannibal camp, I think we should recruit one more.
Yea...I remeber my lil mini solo adventure on the Tears of grog.Still don't get it. i did take a steel shield with the tears of grog emblem on it. And what happened to Keekaw? i just think Tol is waiting for us at the bottom of the cliff since a horse can't climb a ladder.
wait a minute..does it have to do with the curse somehow?
I saw one of his posts in another thread a while ago where he said he had to ask for an extension on his deadline to deliver his theasis. Maybe we will see him soon but it is possible that he will only be able to come back by the end of the semester...
I really enjoyed playing with Gordon and his character. His interactions with the party and specially with Gatherine were great. My suggestion would be to recruit another member but leave the door open for him. If he manages to come back we just roll with a a party of six...
PS: Hey Trout, which one of us are you an alias of? ;P
I am out of town on bussiness for the next 10 days. I expected to have internet access and time to keep my regular posting schedule but things have been chaotic at best. I am not sure how active I will manage to be on the boards on this upcoming week. Feel free to npc my character if needed. Really sorry for the inconvenience.
Tol strongly reminds me of Aldelbert Stiener from FF9 who had to guard/babysit Princess Garnet/Dagger. i was fond of him despite his lack of popularity.
If Gorra happens to die, i would think it would be so awesome if he got his hands on a T-Rex of something similar.
yeah I'll admit the stories didn't make a lick of sense but I was young with a short attention span so it didn't matter. actually like 9 better than 7 and 8. I cheered when Arieth died she was so annoying and pointless.
ff12 and tactics had decent stories and character development I actively cared about.
but vivi,Steiner, greys, and the black waltz enemy black mages were my favorite. and the entire manufactured lifeforms the black mages went through once they developed free will and became sentient beings was memorable enough.
ff10...cool factor. that's about it. I hated wakka so much. more than whiny Titus. Yuna was the only one with sense.
Cloud Strife is a great char....and Tifa Lockheart too.And the main plot is awesome. I couldn't stand Aerith or Barret either, but the game was great, played it over and over.
Liked also FFX and XII, but didn't have the patience of completing all of the secondary quests (takes months of real time) and didn't manage to go past the intro sequence of FF XIII.
Ignored the spin off FFX-2 and FFXIII-2.
edit: curiously, Tifa's real surname in Japanese is Rockheart(which makes more sense),but given the mis-interpretation when reading kana characters in the west,it became Lockheart.
