So yeah... It will take some time to figure out and/or take care of...
1) the workings of this island which make it difficult to leave
2) other junk Yarzoth was researching... probably whatever she was all rattled up about in particular.
3) gathering other castaways
4) getting a Mugambi's face a tan.
5) getting off the island
(don't forget. there is a room in the ceiling of this chamber What was the last thing she was trying to do when you killed her?)
Iolana Zerengo |
Iolana noticed she was reaching for a statue in the back room when she died, but she is busy atm.
And i know what she was trying to do,but Iolana doesn't,and she has no gaseous form potion or spell. I'll leave this for the others.
I think GM mentioned there is a hole in the roof or floor, but much too narrow for any of us to squeeze in ?

You cannot get to the hidden room... tough to describe, but..
The bat-winged statue is part of a whirlwind. The whirlwind is a coiled iron cone-shape with little space ( gaps just a few inches)
The top of the whirlwind meets the ceiling, and within the center is the opening for the room above.
That is why becoming ethereal was needed to get there.

Cut and paste from Campaign Info
>Cannibal camp - Jask and Gelik have presumably been taken here. There appear to be three buildings, quite a few tents, and a lighthouse.
Completed: Cannibals have been killed, Jask and Gelik rescued, and the camp with the lighthouse is under PC control.
>Ieanna and the Captain - After tracking them across half the island, it is assumed they have traveled to the cannibal camp.
Completed: Ieanna was the serpentfolk BBEG, the captain was turned into a wight... both killed by PCs
>Darkness below - Nothing is really known. Aycenia mentioned Jincy the druidess was investigating some powerful darkness below.
Completed: The ancient Azlanti ruins.
>The Tears of Grog undead vs undead natives - Brother and sister betrayed, brutalized, and murdered by Cheliaxian mercenaries... continue decades after their death, to wage war against those men they have cursed.
Nearly Complete: From what you have learned of the Zura altar (bat-winged statue), undead cannot be free until the altar is destroyed.
>The Walking Blight - Vegepygmies are destroying the foliage of the island, and turning it into a grey toxic sludge. They are currently on the small northwest island.
>Glean what you can from Yarzoth's notes
>Find other castaways
>Get off the island

Tome 1 - The first tome to which you devote your full attention happens to be about the bat-winged statue itself... Yarzoth refers to her as "Zura".
Zura, whirlwind, and pedestal are referred to as the "Altar".
Though the altar is not the source of this island's power, it sustains that power by slowly "feeding" it the souls it consumes from those who die here, or in the reefs and rocks just off her shores.
It also lures the unquiet dead which help provide "sacrifices" on land.
As long as the altar exists, the centuries worth of dead tethered to the Shiv can never rest.
Tome 2 - (only skimmed) The elements (intensity of waves, weather, and even many reefs) may be commanded to draw sea vessels to the dangerous shores, and to weaken potential enemies into banged-up castaways.
Tome 5 - Smearing blood in the mouth of either Zura (the one here at the altar or the head above) will grant you an ethereal form until you arrive in front of the other.

The "ancient azlanti secret" within tome 1 is the reason that the ghosts you dealt with and assisted found no peace,
Such as...
The native brother and sister (aka shredded man and chained one) who rose every night on Kekkaw's side of the island.
Versus
The ghost captain (from whom Gatherine got the shield on her little solo adventure.) and his merry zombies on the other side.

It's just a silly rumor. Snopes and other sites say there's nothing to support this.
Mugambi |
I have no idea what a "three goggles" gesture is.
EDIT: Ok, after following the link I think I understand. But why dothey call three google? Since you are using both hands in front of both eyes shouldn't it be called two google?
Merck |
Well, one google can be considered offensive but it depends of the context in which the gesture is made. It can mean "ok" or "b%tthole". But to tell you the truth the gesture is almost never used at all. I guess they just wanted to play it safe and dont provide possible excuses for bad behavior during the matches.

My father taught me a trick you can you when you don't understand something.
You go out into the garden, find a big rock and bash your head against it ten times.
One of three things can happen, you either understand PERFECTLY, or you don't understand but no longer care, or you forget it completely.
Ah, good times...
