I have taken another Craft skill, but am curious. If I had leather-working, could I still make Leather and Studded Leather Armour with it? Or would I need Armour Crafting for that?

In games I have played in previously, Craft (leatherworking) was necessary for leather, studded leather, hide, and dragonhide. Craft (armorsmith) was necessary for chainmail, breastplate, platemail, etc.

Just be aware, though, that crafting specific items takes a ridiculous amount of time...

Which is why it is perfect in this game. Apparently this campaign has a lot of time to do crafting, etc. I won't be able to craft anything magical, just mundane and masterwork. But I have not been able to do any crafting in a campaign yet and as this one is supposed to give you plenty of free time, I couldn't resist.

Questions for the DM and the rest of the group:

How do we want to handle the items on the Treasure List that had been claimed/given to Peregrine Fetch? (2 vials alchemist fire, Potion of Cure Light Wounds, Potion of Gaseous Form, Potion of Enlarge Person) Do we reclaim/redistribute them? Are they just gone with the character?

I would rather we re-distribute them. It is a loss of valuable resources otherwise.

RE: depicting mounted players(on large mounts)... I'm not sure how it is normally done, I put the players image in top left - easier for giving coordinates, doesn't mean anything other than that. You can still attack any square around the 4 squares you and horse take up.


Hrafen, just noticed you are short 2 languages.


Ahhh .. I confused myself on the order. I didn't mean to have them act/move when starting the new round. I'm changing their initiative to after Vorik.

DM please feel free to NPC Vorik to keep things moving. He'd simply try to put the bugbear down if combat starts.

Will wait for Vorik's AoO before continuing Round 2. Also Vorik, if you care to change the location of your 5' step... dog moved in your way before your turn.

With a group making a run to Restov, would this be an opportunity to sell off some of our loot? (assuming Oleg is not able to purchase any of it.) As it stands, we have a number of items that need to make their way onto someone's character sheet, particularly the potions and the alchemical items. After we sell what we can, we should do a split of funds. (I suggest a 5 way split to leave a "party" fund for healing wands and the like).


Oleg has limited capital so it is a good time to sell pricey things.

For the stuff besides the potions and alchemical items, I'd like to store the cold iron bars and the adamantine at Oleg's since Vorik might be able to craft a weapon or two from them over time. Also want to keep all of the animals as they may be more valuable to our growing settlement.

I may be overthinking this just a little, but we might also give the MW weapons to our guards to help improve their chances should trouble arrive at the outpost while we are gone. We should also hold onto the arrows and crossbow bolts and mount those heavy crossbows on the watch platforms if they are in better working order than what Oleg has.

That's my two cents. I'm happy to contribute my share of the anything sold to the party fund to help make up for the cost of keeping some of this stuff if that would help.
