A foul omen looms in the sky over the scoundrel city of Riddleport, an ominous shadow that defies the light. Is it a curse laid millennia ago by forgotten mages? Does it forewarn against the return of some terrible foe? Or does it portend a terrible

Whoot. ^^ *goes for the Core Rulebook*
Okay, I've finished my level-up, and have used Anklebiter's work to decipher the coded bookkeeping as an excuse to add Azlant to his selection of languages. ;) No big, exploding spells yet, but I have taken on Magic Weapon, which should make some of the party members happy.
So treasure... Who wants what? (I'm fine with Kel's suggestion.)
- +1 rapier
- amulet of natural armor +1
- 2 potions
Spellcraft rolls to identify the potions: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 15 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Can someone appraise these?
- ruby earring
- silver and platinum necklace
- 2 gems
And how much will we be able to sell these for (assuming no one wants any? Speaking of which, any arrows among them? I can restock the four I used.)
- assortment of low-end weapons
- assortment of light armors and shields

Oh...! DM Bigrin, since Saul has spilled quite a bit of his blood on the floor, would it be possible for Anklebiter to collect and store some in an empty flask without his noticing?
If 'Saul' is a shapeshifter playing the part of the Golden Goblin's boss, an alchemical analysis might be able to prove it, and Anklebiter has a new rank in Craft (Alchemy)! Just need an alchemist's lab...
Stealth check to procure the blood, if required: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15.

The rapier came off of the gnome, right? So, it's a small weapon? If so, I can't use it well, so unless Anklebiter wants to become a goblin wizard pirate, we're probably better off selling it.
Just to let everyone know. I have an all-day RL game tomorrow and will be traveling to San Diego most of next week. While in SD, I'll have internet access at night at the hotel.

Okay, so I have blood samples to study. I am going to need access to an alchemist lab to perform the necessary tests, though.
Unless there are alchemists in town who won't mind renting their facilities out to me for the duration - and who can be trusted to keep their mouths shut about what I'll be testing - I would like to ask permission to dip into the team's treasury to purchase a portable alchemist kit.

I have no problem either.
Though figures I get stuck with a goblin who spends more than the girlie, Calla thinks sourly to herself.
Which one? :p
All kidding aside, I would like to thank the party for approving the expense.
DM Bigrin, Anklebiter will be acquiring one alchemist kit as soon as this is reasonably possible. ^^
@Bruendor - You aren't too sure about the artistry on the jewelry. You think the necklace might be worth somewhere around 410g, and the earring...300? You are much more confident about the raw gems, deciding that the small azurite is worth about 7g, and the hematite somewhere around 12.
Just so you guys know, the next two days I'll be driving /riding for hours tomorrow to see my folks (Family is having hard times) then going back the next day so my posting maybe slow or even miss a day. I should have internet connection but thought I should give you a head's up.
I'm up for retconning anything in the 2 day period between the raid and the "boneyard" mission (should you even choose to follow up on it).
Just remember, that Saul is your source of livelihood at the moment, and you guys did sign on to work for him. That doesn't mean you have to do everything he says, but staying in your employer's good graces means staying employed.
man, Saul needs Kel to do the business negotiations, (or maybe that's my 12 years of international haggling over service visit prices), always start way too high and then settle for what you wanted in the first place, thus a few weapons and a spell scroll for Anklebiter would be great! :)

Just posting to let you all know I'm still following the game - Bruendor wouldn't be much help with the Ciphermagi, so he'd be sticking around at the Goblin.
As an aside, how much did we get for the haul, Calla?
