A foul omen looms in the sky over the scoundrel city of Riddleport, an ominous shadow that defies the light. Is it a curse laid millennia ago by forgotten mages? Does it forewarn against the return of some terrible foe? Or does it portend a terrible
man, the dice bot is crazy, for every good roll I get in this game I crap out in another, Calla has witnessed the failure of Bosun Moon in our Skull and Shackles PbP, I even had back to back fumbles to start that game out, that's like 1 in 400 odds.
It usually seems to like my characters, but my poor monsters in the game I'm DM'ing. They're always getting crapped on.
Things are a bit crazy here tonight, so may not get a chance to update. Feel free to just DMPC me/have me use divine retribution again. That's probably what I'd do.
I'll try and get an update in the morning. We have been trying to sell our house, and finally got an offer, and are making an ofer on another house, so things are a little chaotic around here.
For those of you going to PaizoCon, roll up new characters, because I hate you...a lot. (j/k enjoy yourselves, and maybe a little extra for me.)
Hey all, I may be a bit sporadic for the next week. A friend of mine who'd moved out to California was back to visit her boyfriend; unfortunately they got in a fight and now she's apparently staying with me for the week. Granted, I usually end up posting from work, so it's possible there might not be any change, but just figured I'd give a head's up.
Starts with 15
-4 from first hit (now at 11)
-5 from second hit (now at 6)
+2 from Beserking (at 8 [New HP max 17])
+9 from first healing (Then at 16)
-7 from Strike (Now at 9)
+7 from second healing (Back to 16)
-13 from crit hit (3 hp)
Sorry, all I have to go by are the numbers on your profile, which said you were at 10hp (which I notice has now been changed ;-D ). That's why I asked everyone to keep those current. I don't really have time to go back over 2 pages of posts.

I screwed up there. At may 23rd I was at 10 hp, but got healed. I began marking my Current HP at the bottom of the profile because it would be easier to keep up with, but I forgot to delete the 10hp for may 23rd .So I kept it current, but left conflicting info.
Male Goblin Wizard 2 (Abjurer); Init +2; Darkvision 60 ft,; Perception +3; AC 13 (+2 Dex., +1 size); hp 22; Fort +3; Ref +3; Will +4
Oh, I forgot to put this in my IC post: If Anklebiter's action succeeds, Lefrik gains 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8 hp. In any case, the potion should stabilize him.
Male Goblin Wizard 2 (Abjurer); Init +2; Darkvision 60 ft,; Perception +3; AC 13 (+2 Dex., +1 size); hp 22; Fort +3; Ref +3; Will +4
Oh, Kelendra. >_< One near-death experience wasn't enough, you're going to taunt this jerk from up close?
Incidentally, I would like to drop the fog the instant Lefrik is back on his feet and Bruendor is close enough to join in with the battle. Can I make this my statement of intent? ^^
Maybe I read the description wrong, but it looks like our foe is keeping his foot on Lefrik's chest as he fights? I'm trying to figure how what sort of Attack of Opportunity I will provoke if I have him stand up in that situation
Probably one with the weapon in his hand! Though you could maybe try a trip action or a dirty trick and see if you could do that without provoking. I think I could be talked into that if I were DMing! : )
Male Goblin Wizard 2 (Abjurer); Init +2; Darkvision 60 ft,; Perception +3; AC 13 (+2 Dex., +1 size); hp 22; Fort +3; Ref +3; Will +4
Hmmm. Is there a maneuver equal to punching someone in the groin? Because if his foot is really on Lefrik's chest and he doesn't realize it... Rise + shove off-balance + FALCON PUNCH = victory? ^_^;
with an AC of 19, no spells left, and no real chance of hitting the guy, my best tactic appear to be trying to get him to waste a few attacks on that 19 while shifting into a spot to provide flanking for the other party members. Of course, with 10 HP she'll be KOed on the second hit most likely. I can 5' shift in the mist without threat of falling right?
I'm moving across the state for a few days. My grandmother is ill, and my mom is worried about her making it. Hopefully she will recover. I should have wireless, but my posting will be slow while I'm away regardless. Apologies for that.
Who wants what? Calla can use -- though doesn't particularly have a strong desire for -- the sword or shield. (I see her trying more for ranged attacks, though obviously she'll be in melee at some points.)
Looks like none of us can really use the banded mail, so I suggest selling that. IMO, I'd give the cloak to Lefrik, if he's going to be our frontline fighter, but that's useful for anyone.
I forget if we set up a party fund, but I'm always in favor of that, personally. Bruendor, can you appraise the gems?
Seems like we need another person ready for front line action when the need arises. If we trade that banded mail for a breastplate then Calla or Kel could use it with the shield and get a big armor boost.
If Bruendor wasn't the rogue then I would say give the armor, sword, and shield to him as he has the next best strength in the party, but as it stands Calla or Kel can use medium armor and shields currently.
I'd be ok taking on that role if the party doesn't mind the healer being up front now and then, next level she gets a +1 to attack. She also has the Coat of Many Stars ability so she can +4 to AC for 1 hour per Oracle level, so she could have a 25 AC now for big encounters.
Calla should have the potion, she has the best speed for getting to a fallen opponent and Kel already has heal spells.
Male Goblin Wizard 2 (Abjurer); Init +2; Darkvision 60 ft,; Perception +3; AC 13 (+2 Dex., +1 size); hp 22; Fort +3; Ref +3; Will +4
I'd like to ask for the Cure potion; Anklebiter is relatively fragile, so he has a clear use for it, but he can also administer it to others under cover of his Obscuring Mist-spell if necessary, as recently demonstrated.
And, as I'm a forgetful dwarf, add a +2 racial bonus to all of that. Given the way the game's gone so far, a rank in Appraise next level wouldn't be a bad idea for me.
HP 19/28, AC 15/12/13, F +4, R +5, W +2, Init +2, Per +7 (+12 traps)
Also, we should sell the banded mail, as I don't think any of us can wear heavy armor.
I think we talked about a party fund, but I don't think it got anywhere past that. I could try my hand at keeping a "party loot and funds" list, if nobody objects.
Lefrik will be happy with the Cloak if that offer is still good. And I don't mind someone else doing the paperwork and book keeping, that's probably my least favorite part of the game
I'm cool with Bruendor keeping a party loot list if he's willing to take on that task, having one player keeping track of everything works in our home game. Anything that makes it easier for the GM is always a good thing.
OK, sounds like cloak goes to Lefrik, shield to Calla, potion to Anklebiter.
Did anyone want the MW longsword? Lefrik's the only one who can use it, I think, but he might prefer his greataxe. Otherwise, we can sell that, along with the banded mail, which should net us 283 gp and 5 sp.
Not counting the gems, since we don't know what they're worth yet, that'd net each of us 104 gp, plus 105 gp and 5 sp for party treasure. (There's also the two bottles of liquor Bruendor snagged, though Calla wouldn't think about those, just assuming the dwarf would drink them when we got back to the Goblin.)
I think Lefrik would indeed prefer his greataxe to even a masterwork long sword. So yeah, sell it.
My posting should be at a better pace starting sunday. My grandmother did pass away. :( Visitation is tomorrow night, and funeral is Friday afternoon so the next two days will be hectic.
