I thought that's why Lefrik had fast movement?

Not fast enough to outrun an Elven lawyer, bro. Not fast enough to outrun an Elven lawyer...

If it's a boy, Lefrik will teach him how to fight, wench, and drink!
If it's a girl, Lefrik will begin killing boys her age that get too close as she hits her teen years and up
It's the traditional barbarian method of fathering IIRC :)

I haven't gotten the pdf yet as I wait for the module to ship, but my poltergeist knot is now official!
As for reagents, I was wondering if we can basically pay for a supply of supplies so we don't have to get them when you find a new spell you want to copy down. Basically pay in advance. Is that kosher?

I was checking out golems... *slurp* I wish we'd found (and saved) more noqual... Noqual golem, hmmm... *slurp* Okay, okay, I'm back. And still many levels removed from being able to pull off that kind of crafting. ^^ But I shall soon be able to make many, many interesting homunculi, at least. How'd you all like your pseudo-familiar? ;)
Anklebiter the Insane |
Hey, why do you think I'm taking ranks in Craft (sculpture)? ;) I can make them look like whatever I want.
What.
Ever.
I.
Want.
... That's basically the size of a cat and has wings. :p
If you start saving up magic potions now, the d20pfsrd says I can craft homunculi with a spell-like ability! Your little homunculus could heal your injuries once a day, or do other cool stuff. ^^
Anklebiter the Insane |
Oh, you're asking for it now, sister. :p I am definitely making you a custom homunculus...

Tough choice here. Rogue 6, or Ranger 1? The original Bruendor I played in Living Greyhawk was pure rogue, but it makes a great deal of sense to grab a level of ranger for Favored Enemy (elf), weapon/armor proficiencies, a bonus to Fort saves, weapon/armor proficiencies, Tracking...
You know, I think I talked myself into Ranger. I'll get on that tonight.

DM Bigrin: I hope you'll have a good time. ^^
Lefrik: I hope the pain of loss will not eclipse the warmth of the good memories. It may be a cliché, but we need to pack in those memories and cherish them, since we know our friends won't be with us as long as other humans (provided all goes well).
Anklebiter the Insane |
Sure thing, but let's not kill him yet. ;)
I'm getting this odd vibe that maybe Kaerishiel isn't the biggest problem here... Just a hunch, but as we've all noticed, the kind of "military planning" we have going on here is on the weak side. And what kind of Elven army doesn't have small-team tactics? o_õ
You can bet the Drow have small teams for scouting, sabotage and assassination. Only a fool does not adapt to enemy tactics, or indeed adapt enemy tactics for their own use -- the tactics that aren't heinously evil, that is.
Anklebiter the Insane |
Sorry! ^^; I thought the tactics were straight out of the module!
I honestly didn't mean to insult you. o_o;

"And lo, it is written in the Great Book of Elf that we were schooled in small-team tactics by a Dwarf, a Goblin, a human and two Half-Elves, and this won us back our ancient city.
...
And that is why this chapter is not for public viewing."
Anklebiter the Insane |
I think the next Bane-quality I add to our arsenal should be Demonbane.
It won't be cheap and it'll take some time, but I think it'd be worth our while if I make all our main weapons both Elfbane and Demonbane. Any thoughts?
DM Bigrin |
Yeah. We have a gas fireplace and water heater. It got down to 58 degrees in the house, but we just piled on blankets. Made a cool snowman and went sledding. Cooked meals in a cast iron skillet over the fire. Kids whined about no TV, but we had fun anyways.

I read that, AB. Sad news, though at 82, not unexpected. I almost tracked down a copy of Star Trek II to say goodbye to the man, but someone linked to the "funeral at sea" scene on my FB, which is really what I needed to see from the film.
"Of all the souls I have known in my travels, his was the most...human."

Terry Pratchett passed away today.
Not due to suicide, but due to Alzheimer-related complications.
At least he leaves us before the disease could steal his mind away.
Rest in peace, Sir Terry.
