Can I have everyone post the following info for me? Once all 6 have done this, feel free to use this as a discussion thread, I just want to have it all in one easy to find location.
1.) Player Name or Nickname
2.) Character Name
3.) PFS #
4.) Faction
5.) Give me a Day Job roll if you have one, or say you do not
6.) Any purchases you want to make or anything you need recorded, (I'll ask again at the end for this).
Also, if you have not played this character since the 14th, let me know what Faction you where and will be becoming, (even if it's the same one). I just reported a game yesterday and they hadn't even updated them yet, but as far as I know it needs to be recorded on the Chronicle Sheet. Even if your old Faction didn't change, everyone can, as a 1 time thing switch Factions for free, but it has to be right now before this game officially starts.

DM Beckett |
Just waiting on Daveak to finish up. No hurry on my part. I have not heard back from Fisher, so at this point I'm thinking they either lost interest or something. If they get back with me soon, they can still join, but I'll start once I get confirmation from Savage/Daveak, and if we get too far, it might be too late.

DM Beckett |

Savage 1 |
Vrothum will post soon he is working midnight and is trying to keep up
And I will arrange my self tomorrow
Vrothum |
alright i'm up guys sorry, working some long hours right now but will be able to start posting regularly now
DM Beckett |
No worries. Just jump in when you can.
For this combat, each of the 4 thugs has already taken a potion of Blur, which will grant them a 20% miss chance. For any attacks against them, please give me a d100 roll as well, where a result of 01-20 means you miss. This is not affected by the light or darkness, so Darkvision does not help, though other abilities might. If anyone has something that they think might help, please let me know. Likewise, scent will not help, (yet, might later), as you can already see where they are, it's just hard to tell exactly where they are inside their square.
I also wanted to say that I hate when a scenario assumes the enemies have readied an action, but, in this case, (which they did), it does make sense.
DM Beckett |
Just so everyone knows when you move threw friendly squares you don't provoke APPs because your ally provides partial cover and with partial cover your enemy's can't make them.
That's not necessarily true. Still waiting on your companion's stats, but if it is smaller than Medium, it does not grant the Cover for a Medium creature that is the same distance from your dinosaur as the enemies are. If it is medium sized though, they will be fine.
Savage 1 |
Ok my bad raptor is small
DM Beckett |
Actually, no I'm wrong. If it's smaller than you such as something that only blocks about half of your body's height, it does provide cover, but only within 30ft, and opponents can ignore it if they are closer to it than you, (but not the same distance).
Because it's from a creature, it's a +2 AC, but no bonus to Refl and it doesn't allow you to use Stealth.
So it does prevent AoO's for walking through an allies square, even if they are small.
Which reminds me, though all of you have played with me before, if you think I made a mistake, feel free to speak up. Preferably in this discussion thread rather than the game. If I'm wrong, I'll adjust/retcon it. If it's something special for the scenario, I'll let you know and explain it after the fact.

Sounds good man

Rhuul Irontoe |
Gahh, I almost put in a throwaway line about 'and I hope she doesn't stab me in the back'.
DM Beckett |
Just a quick note. Everything inside the red square on the map is dark. No real affect on anyone but Storm Tooth, who now has a 50% miss chance, (01-50 on a d100 means failure).
The green square is the area still affected by Grease. As long as you don't move inside of it, you are fine.
Rhuul's Inspire Courage and Flag (+2 to attack and Damage) is right now only affecting Rhuul, because the door is closed.
Rhuul Irontoe |
Rhuul has not make an AOO yet, but he doesn't have combat reflexes.
I'll do both, but ignore the AOO if he doesn't get it for some reason.
DM Beckett |
If anyone is interested, I'm running a higher level game too.
It's 7th-11th, the Kortos Envoy.
If you are and have a character in range, HERE is the link. Still have a small handful of slots loft.
Rhuul Irontoe |
Rhuul tries to get to his feet, while still valiently waving his pathfinder flag.
acrobatics: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
"Need any help in there lads?"
He stands ready to hit any bandit coming through the door.

Wow, Kryssa is 3rd level? No wonder we are doing so well!
I get scarier when I fight evil outsiders. While bloodraged my weapons are considered to be good aligned and I get +1d6 on damage.
Beckett, how many rounds of rage should I tick off as being used?
DM Beckett |
After round 3, you can say you used one more if you want to. One of the thugs was badly injured, and the last would have mostly been no real threat, so you might not even want to bother. Same thing with Bardic Performance.
DM Beckett |
So, out of curiosity, who here would be interested in running through Emerald Spire for PFS credit? I don't own it at this point, and honestly, it's a bit pricey, so it may not even happen for a while (if at all), but at this point it's just gauging interest.
Emerald Spire is a 1st-13th superdungeon, (and from the sounds not easy). IF I did it, I would run the entire thing as one game, which would require everyone to make new 1st level characters. I would run all of it but the last part, then do the Eyes of the Ten series, (which allows you to level your character to and then past 13th in PFS, and then finish it, giving you a total of 14th level, and the ability to continue on as a legal PFS character Venture-Captain.
At this point it's just a possibility, to gauge interest, too. I don't own it, and so have not read it yet, (and might not actually want to do that people if I do, for example). It would also be after this one, and I am pretty sure I would require the party to have a sort of basic Cleric/Fighter/Rogue/Wizard sort of make up to cover bases, but not sure.
