I'm getting my mindset ready to get started again soon. Just need a tad bit of inspiration!

I just got some at Disney's Star Wars Weekends at Hollywood Studios. I went on the new Star Tours ride at Disney. Very cool 3-D showing with some cool stuff. Saw some jet-pack flying commandos on my mission.

Sho needs to start using his!

How's that? Tomorrow is the most important battle since the Clone Wars. Best be prepared. You're going to be going in hard. Everything is coming into place. Every piece of the puzzle will come into play, including one Sho forgot to mention: Mandolorians.

DOH! Damn mercs.

BTW, did we level at all before our last stand?

Sure. Level 6 sounds pretty reasonable to me for all you've done for the Empire.

Cool. I'm thinking level 4 Jedi, Weapon Focus (lightsaber) and Skill Focus (Use the Force) for feats. Any thouhgts guys?

(Male Wookiee Soldier 4/ Scout 1)

My apologies to all. I've been busy and unable to keep up. I am retiring Urirawa as a result.

Thanks for the rpg experience.

It was great to have you. Urirawa was a very interesting character. You really brought him to life and made the game better as a result.

Sorry to see you go Smerg. Happy gaming wherever you go :)

That stinks Smerg. I love the walking carpet.

No room for one final, glorious battle?

Change summary:

Kensae/Jedi 6
HP +7 (average)
BAB +1
Saves +1
Skills +1
Damage Threshold +1
Damage: +1 (Lightsaber)
Feats: (6th level Class & Character) Force Training + Force Boon

Powers would be Move Object, Farseeing, Rebuke, Force Grip (if allowed), Surge

Reset Force Points to 9.

Destiny Points: +1 (4 total)

Kensae/Jedi 4
Force Points 8
Destiny Points +1
HP +7
BAB +1
Saves +1
Skills +1
Threshold +1
Damage: +1
Feats: (4th level Class & Character 6) Weapon Focus (Lightsaber) and Skill Focus (Use the Force)

That should make Raal a more effective dualist, bumping his to hit by +2 and his block/deflect by +6

Shouldn't you have 11 force points? 5 + 1/2 level = 8 + 3 (Force Boon)= 11 ?

All set with Level 6 updates.

Can't wait for Level 7 where I get Deflect!

Do you want to run 3-man through the gauntlet, or should I DMPC Urirawa?

I actually know some ppl on these board that are dying for a starwars game...

Check out Smergs' Star Wars game if you feel like adding a player or two.

I say recruit if you are up to playing longer term.

If not, I can make another player and run two... ;D

I'm going to be in the Baltic Sea for the better part of two weeks starting on the 10th. I don't want to start our climactic assault on Yavin until I get back, so that we can keep the momentum up.

Should we assist in recruiting or make additional characters while we wait or are we going in just the 3 of us?

This is y'all's story, so adding new characters at this point isn't part of the narrative. Don't worry; the three of you plus Urirawa should be more than enough. If someone wants to take the campaign over for the second chapter, I'd be okay with that.

(Male Human Jedi L3 / Scout L2)

Psst. Starting a KotOR game. Anyone want in?
CLICK for the link.

Okay, I'm almost back from Scandinavia and Russia! Assuming everyone is still here, we'll be preparing to make our final descent into the Battle of Yavin! Everyone/anyone still here?

Check.

I have placed my tray table and thermal detonators in the upright and primed position, sir.

Sho Larn, you still with us?

I'm going out of town for the next four days, taking the wife and kids to a family get-together, there will be internet but I'm unsure about how much time I'll have to post.

I'll be back on monday.

Well, guys, it's about time to call it. This was a good campaign. I learned quite a bit about how to DM on PBP, and I learned some lessons of what not to do. (Lesson #1: A military campaign of briefing-mission-briefing-mission leaves little time for interaction between PCs and with NPCs.) So, thanks for a good campaign!

Here's what I had planned:

Completion:
The mysterious shadowy villain of piece, the master that Starkiller referred to a few times, was none other than Darth Sidious. As shown in the Expanded Universe, Palpatine mastered his spirit's survival after death, and had set up backup clone bodies in the Deep Core. He re-emerged and took the identity of Baron Tagge (disposing of the real one) in order to launch the Rebellion. He ordered the destruction of Alderaan to rid himself of Bail Organa, who was too much of a peacemaker to allow the rebellion he needed, and politically seized control of the Rebellion in the aftermath. In the meantime, he had found Starkiller and raised him as a dangerous apprentice, much as Vader did to him in the canon.

Starkiller was too much of a blunt instrument for Palpatine, though, and he coveted a new, more powerful apprentice. Thus, he set his master plan into motion. He arranged for Starkiller's capture by setting the stronger General Kota after him, advising Kota as Tagge to openly try the Sith apprentice at the Rebel stronghold near Yavin. He knew that the Emperor would take the opportunity to attack, and bring a sizeable number of Kensae with him for ship-to-ship combat.

His plan was to seize the capital ship that Starkiller was on, as it would have many Kensae on board, at its most vulnerable. He would gain the energy to do so through the Dark Side nexus on Yavin IV (at the Massassi Temple). Dragging the ship down to the moon, his cultists would capture several Kensae and bring them to the top of the temple. There, Sidious would use long-lost Sith sorcery to perform his most impressive feat to date: he would bring back Exar Kun, who gave up his physical body at that location during the Old Republic and was the cause of the Dark Side nexus. He originally planned to insert Exar Kun into Luke Skywalker's body, but he would make do with General Kota. He even had a name picked out for his new apprentice, who he had communed with during his research on how to cheat death: Darth Draconis.

Revealed to the galaxy, Darth Sidious and his new apprentice, Darth Draconis, would declare a Third Sith Empire based out of Korriban. With many of the forces of the Rebellion already subtly twisted by the Dark Side, they would grow their forces over the next year while the Empire and Rebels scramble to deal with the new threat. The remaining members of the Rebellion would make peace with the Empire and declare themselves the Grand Federal Republic. The Mandalorians would split in half when they discover that Sidious is using the Black Sun neurotoxin to create Dark Side super-soldiers, which would devolve many of them into the Taung from which they evolved.

The next chapter would open a year later with a drastically different galaxy. Former enemies would ally against a common cause, though the Empire would not trust the Republic because they failed to notice the Sith Lord in their midst. The Sith war machine marches onward from their third of the galaxy, sweeping over countless worlds as Sidious claims what he feels was stolen from him by Emperor Skywalker...

Great idea! Well, Cap'n, it would have been a great story, but I certainly had a ball while it lasted! If you ever need players again, keep us in mind!

Sounded cool, maybee we'll have the oportunity at a latter time to run this? Maybee an interest check when/if you feel like it... Anyway, thanks a bunch Barcas for introducing me to SWSE :)
