Here's the OOC. Setting this all up for you all and should be ready now.
Sorry if I rushed really fast, I wanted to get the intro done with as i'm quite ill and i don't want you all waiting for me to reply to what only needs one person to say yes or no to.
DM Aron Marczylo |
But he's still winning. Just matter of time until one fails and falls prone. Sorry this bores the other characters, it'd a matter of respect and where as you have Thousand Bones' respect, most have seen outsiders in the same light as many native americans saw the americans during thw wild west era. Only because you know Thousand Bones have you even been allowed this far and many people will need to see more from your group before they stop treating you as tshmek.

will be busy the next couple of days. Have my better half over and will be watching movies, nostalgia critic and other stuff till sometime after new years.
Curnach Daveck |
I have a deadline for the 29th and i'm 4000 words and a couple dozen references short so you won't hear from me until then. I will have another nasty deadline on the 3rd of May but i'l attempt to squeeze some posts in on the 30th. Sorry for the slowness on my part.
Llyra Bjorgan |
Just as a note, next Wednesday I will be driving to the east coast and will have limited internet on Wed-Thursday. My family is moving to the east coast and I may or may not have reliable internet access (or I may have tons if it gets set up). I am the advance party with the rest of the family following in a few weeks.
If I am slow on posting, this is likely why. I shall attempt to post at least once per day, but I really do not know how reliable my posting will be for anywhere from a day or two to two weeks. We are going to get internet from Comcast, and that is always a crap shoot at best.

Better than my roles yesterday. Here's the order I had with my Dwarven Fighter: 1, 2, 2, 1, 6, 5, 2, 3

lol.
I used to bemoan my bad luck with the rolls, but a while ago I rolled two 20's on three attacks with a paladin archer, confirmed both crits. Since then, I guess I don't feel I have room to complain. Not for a while, anyway! :)
DM Aron Marczylo |
I'm sure they know already, but wish them good wishes :)
DM Aron Marczylo |
well the bleed damage I admit was my fault, fair enough, but the proning with trip I checked online and people discussing it on the board's said it was fine.
Curnach Daveck |
Jason Bulmahn (lead developer)-
You can use your AoO to trip a creature that is standing up from prone, but it has no effect, since the AoO is resolved before the action is completed, meaning that the creature is still prone. Once the AoO resolves, the creature would stand up normally.
I've sent you dozens of link on this subject before. Trip-locking. Does. Not. Work.

kk, as I just mentioned in the thread, if he did move to somewhere, where he wouldn't have been flanked, he wouldn't have made those kills, unless he ddi the kills first and then made a 5ft step as his final action.
Krenn Weststone |
Well, my intent was to step back and I mentioned it in flavor, but I didn't mention 5' step or a destination square. I am fine not backtracking since that would create unnecessary confusion. It is just a fiscal setback, which Krenn would absorb out of his part of the loot. And as long as AK rolls for the reincarnation and I don't, maybe we'll have that bugbear brute to help us finish the story! :)
DM Aron Marczylo |
Or potentially something else if it lands on 100%, Heck, maybe even a troglodyte...no idea what Krenn's squeeze would say if he returned as that. Not ot mention Bugbear or Orc.
This will be interesting to see from roleplaying perspective.
DM Aron Marczylo |
Lol, well we'll see what happens in game before deciding on re-rolling the character. If he did become something like a bugbear or gnoll his AC would improve from gaining a natural armour class.

For fun 1d100 ⇒ 33
A gnome. Oh man that is a total insult to a dwarf.
DM Aron Marczylo |
As a undead creature, yes but I do wonder what the rest of the group would think about that. Most likly I would in that situation since I don't think Jerin has the ability to raise intelligent undead.
DM Aron Marczylo |
HaveroHere's the beast's page for those curious. It's balanced in that you are not going to be fighting it, but just it's basic tentacles.
Plus, Jerin can have a look if there's anything I missed.
Krenn Weststone |
I'm good either way. It would raise some interesting questions. Do I keep my dwarven axe proficiency since it is a race feature that mimics a feat (exotic weapon proficiency)?
I wasn't posting that other text to try and rush things; I was just checking in to let everyone know I'm still around, even if Krenn isn't... :)
Llyra Bjorgan |
I imagine that you would keep all of the racial proficiencies that are mental/learned, but would lose those that are physical. So, you would keep the weapon proficiencies and ability to detect unusual stonework, but would lose any poison resistance, spell resistance, etc. On the other hand, you should pick up the physical traits like darkvision and orc ferocity. Not sure about intimidate. But would lose Hardy and Stability.
The strange thing is that you now hate yourself, so I am not sure how that would work.
Llyra Bjorgan |
Well:
-->Hatred: Dwarves gain a +1 racial bonus on attack rolls against humanoid creatures of the orc and goblinoid subtypes because of their special training against these hated foes.
--> Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.

Welcome back! Sorry for not posting too often. On/off job and other issues my end.
