yeah was a mistake on my part, I've ammended it via talking with Alex on MSN. I just wasn't thinking when positioning everyone.
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
The lizard-headed Rashaka screams as Llyra's spear appears before the creature and with a swift movement the light of the spear burns his eyes and the spear itself imbeds itself in his body, burning him from the mere power of this spell.
curnach begins to meditate with his spells in this battle as it begins.
The vulture-headed Rashaka, seeing his companion blinded points to Elephant towards Llyra, which it tries to then gore her with it's tusks, however it doesn't manage to hit her.
tusks: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (5) + 16 = 21
trunk: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (11) + 16 = 27
damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 3) + 10 = 17
The blinded one is unable to aim his spells as he has no idea where any of you are. The vulture-headed aims his fingers at Llyra and fires out a arrow of pure acid at Llyra, which strikes hard and continues to burn afterwards.
1d20 + 15 ⇒ (19) + 15 = 34
2d4 ⇒ (4, 1) = 5
Krenn takes up a guarded position by Curnach to protect him from any incoming attacks.

1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Jerin's spell falls upon the battlefield and the golden specks go into the elephant's and remaining rashaka's eyes causing both to go blind and flail at empty areas as they can't see anyone.
Dice are killing me today, lol.

Finishing his spell with a nod of thanks to Krenn, Curnach calls into being a massive, quadruped, carapaced animal of a size to equal the elephant. The mighty dinosaur roars in fury as it immediately attacks- slamming its massive tail forcefully into the elephant.
1d20 + 14 ⇒ (14) + 14 = 28 Tail Slip VS elephant AC, minus 2 for blind and minus dex bonus (if any)
3d6 + 12 ⇒ (6, 4, 5) + 12 = 27 Damage
If the tail slap hits, elephant must make a DC23 Fortitude save or be dazed until the dino's next turn.
Summoned Anklyosaurus into squares-
V14,15,16
W14,15,16
X14,15,16
Dino has a 15 foot reach, so the Rakshasha's are both now in threatened squares as well as the elephant.
Holding Curnach's action until he can see if the dinosaur successfully hits and dazes the elephant.

The mighty Ankylosaurus uses it's tail and smashes into the elephant hard, stunning in with the blow. This elephant appears to have a granit-like quality to it's flesh, but the blow was so powerful that it rocked the elephant with it's strength.
1d20 + 13 ⇒ (9) + 13 = 22
Dazed condition on the elephant.

Looking on in satisfaction as the elephant is dazed, Curnach quickly steps to R17 and evokes a powerful wave of water from the moisture in the air, adding to it and enhancing it with his druidic powers. He then hurls the wave of water over Krenn's head at the mounted Rakshasha in V17, seeking to knock it off the elephant's back.
^^ Knowledge Nature to realise that's NOT what an elephants skin is meant to look like?
1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 SR check
1d20 + 18 ⇒ (19) + 18 = 37 Bull Rush
The wave of water he unleashes is exceptionally strong, and it slams into the blind Rakshasha. Carried by the unstoppable momentum, the Rakshasha slams right through the thick stone wall, leaving a Rakshasha sized hole fifteen feet above ground and leaving the Rakshasha out of sight on the other side of the landing in a heap, Curnach having made a new window in the masonry.
... Oops... he mutters.
Wasn't expecting that to be quite so dramatic. Well thats two of them out of the fight for a round- you guys got the other Rakshasha right? ;).

Forgot to mention, the elephan's skin is stone-like and has a sheen to it.
The Rashaka was knocked through the wall and he falls down with a audible smash as if crashing ontop of something with blocks of masonary crashing down afterwards. No one besides all of you with your own unabscured vision have seen what's happened.
2d6 + 2d6 + 3d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (5, 3) + (6, 2) + (2, 5, 5) + (5, 1) = 34 falling damage, plus the debris falling on him, plus being blown through a wall and the sound of somehting being smashed apart in the room he was just knocked into.

Need a rules interpretation here. Is it possible to trip the rakshasa so that it will fall off the elephant? I cannot find anything in the rules. I cannot tell if the rakshasa is actually standing in the carriage or sitting in a seat. Also, was the Howdah knocked off by Curnach's water jet? I cannot imagine that it would not take any damage if one rider was thrown through a wall. Lastly, how is the howdah connected? Can we cut it so that it will fall off the elephant?
Sorry for the questions. I would like to just trip the rakshasa so that it will fall, but the rules seem to be very sparse on this option. While it says you cannot trip slimes and flying creatures, it is completely barren of any mention of what happens with a trip maneuver versus a rider.

The jet of water specifically hit the Rakshasha, not the thing its sat on. As for tripping it, thats a DM call. I think personally I would allow the trip attempt to be made as normal, if I was to make it harder i'd just apply unfavourable circumstances to the roll (-2 penalty).

I'll rule you can trip him off as if you were in that thing in combat you certainly wouldn't be sitting down unless you were one of those villains, waiting for your minions to deal with the enemy.

Llyra manages to trip the Rashaka that was still in the Howdah, knocking him out and falling to the ground, slamming hard, though it appears to have not effected him, though the ground appears to be damaged.
The Rashaka that was blown through the wall appears, covered in rubble and leering directly at Curnach as he just manages to open the door, still wounded from all the fighting.
The Rashaka that fell gets up and seeming dazed from falling and still blinded he points his fingers directly forward and fires off a lightningbolt, going nowhere near the group and smashing a door apart, the eyes of the Rashaka then appear to focus and he realizes what he just did as he turns to face the group.
7d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 6, 3, 4, 4, 1) = 26
1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22
The elephant appears dazed, unable to ace and its eyes remain white from the blinding caused by the dust.

Krenn, lets get that one which fell. Curnach, can your lizard pin the one that is climbing through the wall?

Ammendment, the Rashaka to the right wasn't tripped yet as the trip is on Llyra's next turn and Krenn instead attacked the elephant, which did confirm the crit lol.

Was using my whip. I have a second rapier as well, it is only +1 though. My plan would be to continue to try to trip him whenever he gets up. I have a threatened range of 10' with the whip. Also, the dinosaur should have a threatened range which includes the Rakshasa.

You can't 'trip-lock', this has come up before. You can't trip a foe who provokes an AOO from rising from prone. Llyra does get the AOO though as greater whip mastery means she has a threatening reach of ten feet (normally with a whip you don't threaten squares).

| Female Aasimar Cleric 8/Rogue 2) (HP: 84/84; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14 |

Is there a cite to the rule on this. What I can find from reading the messageboards seems to be that the AoO happens before and interferes with the action causing the AoO. Thus, I could get the AoO and do a trip, but then the Rakshasa could simply do a double move and still get up without provoking any more AoO. If I simply cannot trip it, that is fine, just trying to figure out what I can do.
If there is no trip, then I will use the AoO to attempt to disarm the Rakshasa if it is carrying anything.
AoO-Disarm: 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (16) + 14 = 30 <-- If I can trip it instead, this is at +12, not +14.

Sigh. Sorry to come across as hostile, its just a pet bugbear of mine when people are always asking for a rules citation or developer response for everything.
"It seems to be the general consensus around here that you can't make a trip attack-of-opportunity on a character who is standing up from prone."
It was flagged for FAQ to see if the staff wanted to correct this assumption- its been marked as 'No Response Needed'.
Further arguments- If it worked like your saying it might, the second movement would ALSO provoke an AOO (being a second move action to stand) and all it would take is the Combat Reflexes feat to 'trip lock' someone. The AOO is provoked as they are rising- they are still prone as its provoked (which is why you get +4) and you can't trip someone whos already prone. The AOO acts as an interrupt- to trip someone it would need to happen after their movement is resolved. All attacks of opportunity are resolved before the action that provoked them is resolved- you can't trip a prone person.

yeah I completly forgot these many things as well as being covered in glitterdust, he wouldn't cast invisibility as that's a rarther stupid thing for such a intelligent creature to do. Also that creature was going to cast something different, but I thought the pathetic roll was enough that the one of the left couldn't cast.
The Rashaka that was prone gets up, provoking an attack from Llyra and then taking a swing at her with his Kukri, however all he manages to do it mildly scratch her armour.

Question on Krenn's damage. You have him with +12 after the Crit. He has Str 20 (+5), is using the Rapier (1 handed weapon) with 2 hands, thus it should be +7.5 from strength. Also, I assume that he is using his power attack, which would be +9 (1.5x6 as his BAB is over +8) at this point for a total of +16. Shouldn't this whole amount be doubled on the crit? For a total of +32. I may be off as I only have 1 character who uses PA and he is low level at this point.
Also, wouldn't Krenn have a second attack?
EDIT - got ninjaed by the DM - I think the damage should be +32, not +26 though, see my ooc note above.

he did't actually declare dropping his shield, last action he did he still had his shield so he's still using it in one hand. Also everytime I try a character using both hands on a rapier it doesn't seem to increase the damage potential, however that could just be a error with herolab as it isn't infammable. I should drop it next round though. Hope markofbane is okey.

Don't forget all of them have -2 to AC, saves, etc from the Aura...not sure how the elephant has a +7 reflex save while blind and with the Aura...but he probably rolled well enough to make a 14.
no mention of blindes effecting reflex, but I should've added the -2, though it would still be 17

Sorry guys. My mother-in-law fell ill last week and passed away, so we had an unexpected trip to Florida last week as a result.
I missed the “not being able to use a rapier two handed” description for the weapon. I suppose you could, but then it would be an improvised weapon rather than using it as intended. Thanks for running Krenn’s attacks for me. I’m back in Seattle now and should be on a normal posting schedule again.
