Vencarlo is found and the party now know where the Senachal is, but something still lurks in the shadows of the labyrinth, hunting them down relentlessly.

no, I think it also ran out, I got it at Round 1, so it would have expired before my turn on round 10. Either way, the hits all missed - barely.

thought he was as he was as I saw no mention of him being moved, however if he has then the attacks are aimed at Curnach instead.

See my post- I said i'd be behind Krenn with my back to the wall. Theres simply no way Krenn would let Curnach and Jerin be in front of him unless they requested it.

Krenn and Llyra should be in front of the door, blocking their entry.

Female Aasimar Cleric 9/Rogue 2) (HP: 93/93; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14

Agreed - not that she likes it, but Llyra and Krenn would have formed a wall before the door to stop any intruders.

Half-Orc Fighter 10/Ranger (Urban) 1 HPs 109/109 AC 30 FF 26 T 17 CMD 32 Fort +17 Ref +12 Will +5 Init +4 Per +14

I'm sorry that I didn't follow up on Jerin's post, but yeah, if Jerin asked him to cover a door and he had time to take up position, Krenn would have. He has come to trust entirely that Jerin would have a plan in mind.

Krenn will lash out with his axe (one handed power attack) at whichever confronts him first.

To hit 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (15) + 17 = 32
Damage 1d10 + 16 ⇒ (9) + 16 = 25
To hit 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (12) + 12 = 24
Damage 1d10 + 16 ⇒ (4) + 16 = 20

HP 94/94, AC 25/13/23 CMD 18, F +10, R +7, W +16, P +21, In +8, AOO +1

I always thought of Curnach as the man with the plan ;). I suppose between us we have it all figured out, bwahaha...

Assuming i'm at the rear like I specified.

Curnach hurls a formidable fireball at the far wall behind the Rakshasha, clutching a rod in his hands as he does so.

Heightened, Empowered Fireball using Persistent Rod. Assuming Krenn and Llyra formed up at the door like we wanted, it should only hit the Rakshasha.

9d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 6, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5, 2) = 34+50% damage for a total of 51, two DC24 saves for 25.

I don't imagine Glorio's minions are as hard to hit as he is- probably a good time for Spiritual Ally Llyra.

Female Aasimar Cleric 9/Rogue 2) (HP: 93/93; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14

Round 10

Retcon since we have been rearranged.

Cast Defensively Spiritual Ally: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (14) + 13 = 27 vs DC23

Spiritual Ally will appear directly behind the Rakshaka in front of me. So both Krenn and I should get flanking bonuses.

Move action - Copycat - create mirror image.

Let me know whether the Ally can attack this round.

HP 94/94, AC 25/13/23 CMD 18, F +10, R +7, W +16, P +21, In +8, AOO +1

Quoted from the spells text- "Each round on your turn, starting with the turn that you cast this spell, your spiritual ally can make an attack against a foe within its reach that you designate." So yeah, it can attack, it gets two attacks from your BAB. Although, if they have spell resistance, OUCH. If you fail the first check against SR the spell is dispelled.

Female Aasimar Cleric 9/Rogue 2) (HP: 93/93; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14

SR Check for Spiritual Ally: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29

Spiritual Ally Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10

HP 94/94, AC 25/13/23 CMD 18, F +10, R +7, W +16, P +21, In +8, AOO +1

A note for DM Aron- the damage is force damage and DR does not apply to it. Epic SR check!

Female Aasimar Cleric 9/Rogue 2) (HP: 93/93; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14

Yep, don't know if he will ever hit, but just having an invulnerable ally providing flanking is invaluable.

Male Human Wizard (FC) 11 - Enchanter

Jerin will act after curnach.

HP 94/94, AC 25/13/23 CMD 18, F +10, R +7, W +16, P +21, In +8, AOO +1

Aron do we need to roll for SR? Probably best if we know now to save if/when statements.

Master of Procrastination and Grognardia

Curnach Caster level: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15

Jerin Caster level: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (1) + 13 = 14 Just disreguard this roll otherwise the entire post is messed up :p you passed in your post.

Llyra's spell goes off and there appears behind one of the Rashakas a beautiful elven woman who seems to personify beauty. She also appears to be wearing barely anything at all and in her hand is a whip which she uses on one of the Rashakas, the first strike landing hard but the second misses. This elven woman apears to be everly smiling and standing at a suggestive posture.

Krenn's attacks the one the nearly-naked elven woman struck with her whip and his first attack strikes hard, but the second one doesn't and both attacks appear to be resisted by these creature's unnaturally strong skin.

Rashaka 1: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (13) + 12 = 25

Rashaka 2: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29

Two are gravely injured from the flame, but one of them that's already wounded managed to protect himself from being badly harmed. Before the attack the one with the boar head seemed to be drooling at the sight of the elven woman.

DM:

1d2 ⇒ 1

Jerin fires out the balls of energy from the ends of his fingers and strikes into the Rashaka hard into the chest.

Yes, they all have spell resistance. It's a racial thing for them :p

Round 11

Order:

Rashakas
llyra

The Rashakas step back before casting their spells. The first one points at Llyra and shoots out a bolt of lightning at her in a direct line. Another steps back and

7d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 1, 1, 1, 3, 2) = 13 DC 16 Ref for only 6 damage...worse roll of all.

Spellcraft DC 18:

As you can tell the spell is lightning bolt.

The second Rashaka casts a spell on himself defensively, however his spell didn't get off as he didn't manage to concentrait.

1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12

Spellcraft DC 16:

The creature was attempting to cast Shield.

The third and final attempts to cast a spell defensively and fails, losing his spell. This Boar gives out a gunt in anger at the creature made of force next to him.

I assume it attacked the one it attacks before as you didn't say which Rashaka you aimed for. Also what do you think of my picture for your spiritual ally?

Female Aasimar Cleric 9/Rogue 2) (HP: 93/93; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14

Yup - I think that is a very accurate pic. She attacked the K24 Rashaka, I don't know which is #1, #2, and #3. She would attack whichever is hurt worse. A 1 hp Rashaka is dangerous, a dead one is not.

Master of Procrastination and Grognardia

I numbered them from left to right like average reading. Number 2 it already attacked so doesn't need to make a SR check, however if it attacks another it'll need to make a new SR check and risk being dispelled. Also thanks, was difficult to find someone that suited.

Female Aasimar Cleric 9/Rogue 2) (HP: 93/93; AC: 25; FF: 21; Touch: 14

Then have her hit the same one, sorry, definitely do not want to lose the SR until the first is dead.

Thought as much. Didn't want to fool you into potentially losing the creature made of force. Eitherway, I've added the damage.

Master of Procrastination and Grognardia

Krenn's round

Krenn takes a 5ft step towards the closest Rashaka and then lauches an attack with his axe, the first attack hacks deep into the Rashaka and right into the boar's face, but it manages to resist the slash and evade the second attack

attack: 1d20 + 17 ⇒ (20) + 17 = 37

Krenn is at J24 and attacking the Rashaka at K24. It looks badly wounded from that attack.

Male Human Wizard (FC) 11 - Enchanter

Curnach is up correct? Just confirming...wait to see what he does before posting.

HP 94/94, AC 25/13/23 CMD 18, F +10, R +7, W +16, P +21, In +8, AOO +1

Curnach takes a moment to listen carefully to the sounds of the palace with his incredible hearing, hoping to hear any other forces moving to engage the group.

1d20 + 21 ⇒ (4) + 21 = 25 Perception

He then transmutes a tiny piece of bitumen into a burning hot ball of sticky tar, proceeding to hurl it at the least wounded Rakshasha, splashing hot, sticky tar all over the creature.

No saving throw, no spell resistance. Have to hit on a ranged touch attack though.

Spell Description:

You create a sticky ball of burning tar that you can hurl at your enemies as a ranged attack. If the tar ball strikes, it deals 1d4 points of fire damage + your Strength modifier, and splashes the target with hot, sticky tar. The tar deals 1d4 points of fire damage each round on the creature’s turn for the next 1d4 rounds and gives the target a –2 penalty to Dexterity for that duration. If desired, the target can use a full-round action to attempt to extinguish or cool the tar before taking this additional damage. Extinguishing or cooling the tar requires a DC 15 Reflex save or at least 1 gallon of nonflammable liquid. Rolling on the ground provides the target a +2 bonus on the save. Leaping into a lake or magically cooling the target automatically ends the effect.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24 (-4 firing into melee included)
1d4 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1 Initial Fire Damage

The Rakshasha continues to burn (unless it takes the full-round action to put the flames out) for 1d4 ⇒ 2 rounds, taking 1d4 fire damage at the start of its turn for each of those rounds. and during this time also has a -2 penalty to dexterity.

Male Human Wizard (FC) 11 - Enchanter

Master of Procrastination and Grognardia

Curnach:

You cannot hear anyone else running or any more hurried feet, but the alarm is still going. From the sound of it, it sounds like it's coming from down the hall and near the front door you came through.

Curnach's tar sticks to the rashaka, burning it's flesh.

Jerin aims at the boar, firing off another batch of magic missiles from his finger tips and all five missiles pummelling into the creature and bringing it down to the ground.

The first one hit and tripped him, knocking the orangatang-headed Rashaka to the ground. He's already tripped so the second wasn't needed, unless you redirected it to the other Rashaka.
