And that's all he had. Unfortunatly the majority being necromancy as that is the school he specialised in.
Sometime in the week you see Tiora again as she arrives at the tavern and smiles to you all.
"Told you I'd pay you back for saving my life. My nest egg back how was untouched so I thought you would all like this." she pulls out a wand and hands it to the group. She explains that it is a wand of cure moderate wounds fresh with 50 charges.
Arianna has a wand of Cure light wounds, so she's good with Curnach taking the Cure moderate.
She's going to take some of the downtime and use her contacts to purchase a set of masterwork thieves tools, learn Shoanti, and purchase a Harrow deck. She'll also purchase a masterwork bladed scarf and convert the remaining money into jewlery.
On one of the nights you retire to your room you find a envelope laying on your bed. Your name is written on the front but on the back there is no name or address, just the mark of two pink lips.
As you open if you find that you can smell the faint scent of the perfume Trinia was wearing that day when she had hugged you. The letter inside reads:
Dear Curnach,
I first want to say that I am sorry for all the greif I have caused your group, but I never murdered the king and blackjack knows who did, but won't tell me until he has gathered new information. For now he has left me in the care of a trusted friend of his. Someone who the queen wouldn't think of questioning or searching for me. I've made myself useful painting this person and I'm improving my work, but sadly I cannot sell any of my works. I hope you like what I made for you. I had to force the important figure in question to find some way to deliver it to you.

You then notice on the walls is a painting of you. It's a fairly accurate painting however she has taken librities by paining a smile and clearing up the face, removing scars and dirt and making the hair appear tidy but apart from that it's you. It's only a small picture the size of about 5 x 5.
just an FYI, In the future if we run across any jewlery or other "girlie" items Arianna would, if possible, like those as her share of treasure rather than just straight gold pieces. If it's too much trouble to figure seperately just let me know the totals and she'll purchase them from the total GP's.
Curnach spends a long time in the weeks that follow brooding- when pressed he has little to say. Towards the end of the final week however, Curnach has bathed, tidied up his clothes, and has requested that Arianna gives him a haircut. Keen-eyed members of the group notice a portrait of a clean and handsome Curnach hanging in his bedroom, and he appears to be attempting to imitate it.
So there is definitely a few things that Jerin would want to know about from Curnach from the execution incident.
First, what happened with Trinia and Blackjack in the fogcloud? Second did Trinia escape? Third did you talk to Blackjack or Trinia during the escape? If so what did either of them say about the Queen?
This Blackjack fellow helped deal with the executioner while I got Trinia out of there. The escape plan was successful, and thankyou for your efforts. Shes been taken somewhere safe- Blackjack claims to know who killed the King but isn't sharing the information yet: I expect it was the Queen or her lackies...
Justice is bigger than any of us, even a Queen... For now i'll bide my time until opportunity rears its head- butmake no mistake, she will answer for the chaos of Korvosa if she was responsible.
Agreed, if it is indeed the Queen behind this or some other power working from the background like Cheliax, they will be brought to justice.
